    Pad Thai with shrimp
    Elise F.

The pad tai with shrimp was great! We dined in, but we still got our food in what seems to be to-go containers. Not a huge deal. There was no line, so our food was ready relatively quickly. My friend also got a giant rice crispy treat, which was awesome!

This is my quick stop in Grandview if I wanted a quick casual Italian or Mediterranean meal. I tried some of the other Asian fusion options and I wasn't a big fan of the amount of food for example the Japanese noodles and such. I wasn't a fan of the Korean meatballs they just seemed a bit too sweet for my taste but I'm sure others may have found them just great. I like the new rewards app and it keeps sending you little small rewards to use once in a while for entrée discounts or free appetizers or drinks which is not a bad deal and probably keeps me coming back. Noodles kitchen concept works very well for someone who wants to get a casual meal without having to worry about making table reservations or seating or superb customer service or leaving a tip and all that jazz ... It is probably not the place if you're looking for the perfect stellar classy dining experience this is more of a casual cafeteria style. I like it. Quick and simple. Depends on the occasion. I can tell most of the ingredients are very well prepared and fresh. I also like how they make the Italian pasta options here "il dente" the pasta comes out a little hard lightly cooked not super overcooked or soft or soggy like other places. Out of the dozen times I've been here so far service has been great and I had no major complaints. Staff are pretty friendly. Once in a while I would get a meal with a missing item or the cook would forget to sub a particular ingredient. I remember one time they forgot to add the chicken to the meal even though the meal originally comes with chicken start with .. just a small mishap that is quickly fixed. Nothing to be upset over nothing that cannot be fixed if it's brought up to their attention.

Beef Steak Stroganoff not even 1/2 full. With fake compensation
    Eula B.

Got the Penne Rosa and asked for no cheese - I got this. When I called to explain what happened they said they knew they mistakenly put cheese but still gave it to me. With the beef stroganoff there was barley any noodles in it and my container was just a pile of meat. Called when I arrived home to notify them (they did not get this....correct) asked if I could get a compensation. The lady who answered said "yeah" I asked "what is it" she said "I can mail you a free noodle bowl coupon" I asked "one or two coupons since 2 bowls sucked" she rudely said "two". After a month of waiting we never got compensated and never want to see those staff members at a place like this again. Rude staff

Love this place!! Drove by it for years before stopping by and was I missing out. We eat hear 1-2 times a month, and have never had a bad meal. Be sure to ask for a receipt -- there is a coupon for a free app on the bottom once you do a quick survey. Fav dishes -- spicy korean beef noodles, bangkok curry, pad thai with shrimp, and wisconsin mac and cheese (Not a huge fan of the grown up mac options).

    Lunch delivered

We needed something quick for lunch while we were working. We ordered from Noodles and Company because we thought they would be fast. I got a chicken noodle soup bowl and a large order of cheesy bread to share with my co-workers. When everything arrived the temp of the food was still warm, but my soup was spilled with a lot of it in the plastic bag that the encompass the soup in while in its bowl. I'm guessing they do that because the soup must spill often. I wish they had better to go containers so they could remedy that problem as oppose to just letting it spill in a plastic bag. Overall my lunch was filling. I always enjoy their soup and my co-workers seemed to like the cheesy bread. It was just fine for a quick lunch.

Very watery cheese, wouldn't stick to the noodles. Very small bowls, way over priced for what you get.

You can tell that everyone here is genuinely passionate about what they do and takes their craft seriously. The woman who helped me was kind, knowledgeable, and eager to explain the best way to prepare everything. The ingredients were clearly high quality, and the ravioli cooked beautifully without breaking apart. I tried the lobster, smoked mozzarella, and goat cheese ravioli, and honestly, I couldn't choose a favorite. The lobster was one of the best--if not the best--lobster ravioli I've ever had, while the smoked mozzarella and goat cheese varieties were equally delicious. My only complaint is that I can't order them online and have them delivered to Buffalo, New York! I highly recommend giving this place a try.

I visited for the first time in many years and found that most vendors have changed over the years. One familiar vendor is the Pastaria at the North Market. I had a delightful experience ordering some macaroni and cheese as well as some pizza at Sarefino's next door. I arrived and looked around at the options. There was a small wait for a Saturday lunch, and I jumped at the chance to order a limited edition macaroni and cheese from a familiar restaurant. My friend ordered the mac and cheese first, and I followed suit shortly afterwards. The sides of mac and cheese seemed small but were very rich and filling, and I was quite filled up after finishing up a slice of pizza and a side of mac and cheese. When I was next door at Sarefino's, I met the Pastaria owner Don Ziliak, who is also the owner of Sarefino's Pizzeria & Italnian Deli (and also Pastaria and Pastaria Seconda, also located in the North Market). Don was very welcoming and made me feel right at home. He shared some of the history and also let me know how he had been an owner of the restaurants for quite some time. I learned that he initially acquired Pastaria in 1993, purchased Sarefino's in 1995, and opened Pastaria Seconda in 1998, making it a family-run business. The location is on the west side of the North Market along the wall. The hours at the North Market are Monday from 9 AM to 5 PM, Tuesday through Friday from 9 AM to 7 PM, Saturday from 8 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday from 12 to 5 PM. I would assume that later during the lunch hour during the weekends (and weekdays) it is probably quite busy. The restaurants are known for "good Italian food without the fuss." If you look on their website (https://www.pastarianorthmarket.com), you will see that Don will recognize regulars and their names along with their regular orders. I certainly would come back to eat there again!

This little gem in Victorian Village is a must visit for anyone who loves authentic Italian food and stellar service. I came here with my roommates family for a celebratory dinner and had an amazing four course dining experience. I also noticed unfortunately there was no sitting or lounge area for customers to sit if they are Waiting for a table or waiting for a ride share. If you have to wait you are literally in the way of servers or the opening of the front door. I opted for the "Lighter Fare" menu at $55.00, your only two other choices were a Tasting menu at $110.00 or a Pelino's Dinner at four courses for $69.00. The menu is very limited, there is no A la carte available. Our server was professional & polite & the entire staff was lovely. I ordered : First course :Tornare alle Origini Eggplant, Pachino tomatoes, Castelvetrano olives, Pantelleria capers Main Course: L'Oro Verde della Sicilia Rigatoni, Lemon, Butter with Pistacchio di Bronte Crema Dessert : Semifreddo agli Amaretti Amaretti crumble, Semifreddo with Chocolate Sauce This breakdown comes to $18.00 per course. Looking back even the Lighter fare menu is too expensive especially for only one main course on the nights menu that offers Shrimp on your pasta, not even a protein like Chicken or Beef. The most disappointing part of the meal was the temperature of the food, not even remotely warm for this small restaurant. I had a guest dining with me and their first course of Toasted focaccia, Salt-cured Italian anchovies, Bagnet Verd which was comically 2 tiny pieces of bread smaller than a quarter & rock hard for $17.95. Sadly, I would not recommend Pelino's Pasta its too expensive & your clothes smell of seafood after dining there.
