Great spot! The food is good, with a wide variety of options to choose from--something for everyone. Prices were very fair, especially considering the quality and portion sizes. Service was friendly too, definitely a place our family will be coming back to!

    $2.99 breakfast!

Stopped in for breakfast at the Cafe 725 in Club Fortune. The restaurant was fairly busy, but clean. Food was wonderful, bacon, eggs, hash browns & toast for $2.99! Hash browns were hot & crispy, just as they should be. Don't want soggy hash browns on my plate! Eggs were just perfect & the bacon nice & crisp. The Mrs had her usual Bloody Mary that she said was very good. However, the service staff was a bit lax. Must've been a bad day. Nobody gave us a smile & not a single one said "Good morning" or " How are you today?" Just "What can I get you?" All of them seemed ..... grumpy. While the hostess was chatting with friends or perhaps regulars sitting at a booth, two ladies with small children were waiting to be seated. They stood there for just shy of five minutes waiting. At one time, nine people were standing in line waiting for the cashier to show. Once we paid, she was polite, but didn't mention the long wait to pay. Food was very good. I hope the service staff improves as well.

Prime rib on Saturday nights only

The food is great. Customer service is great. They always remember me when I come in! The soup is so good they have different daily soups.

Biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs and a hash brown on the side.

It's hard to mess up, but honestly, I'm convinced the eggs were cooked in water and seasoned with ice cubes. The hashbrowns were just a greasy piece of cardboard, so good thing they had salt and pepper on the table. The cheap breakfast they had before was leagues better. For the price now, I'll just stop at McDonald's. Service was alright.

Good inexpensive food with great service. If you do some gambling while there you earn food comps which makes it even cheaper.

It was busy (weekend) and had a short wait (about 15 minutes). I opted for the #3 Bacon ang Eggs (4 pieces), choose side of spuds and sourdough toast. The scrambled eggs were very good I like to add Tabasco sauce, the bacon was cooked very well and tasty. I learned previously from some veteran patrons of Omelet House you need to get those spuds ordered *extra crispy* (and a side of cheese sauce if you're in the mood). I never got my sourdough toast however. My wife opted for the huevos rancheros which is her go-to favorite, and was not disappointed at all. Very delicious. The rest in our group had a great time and enjoyed their food as well. We did have a little trouble getting refills (maybe it was break time) but overall we had a good experience.

I found a space and only had about a two-minute walk to Public Works. The space is industrial but cozy, and I love the little community library in the red phone booth. That's such a cute touch and very on-brand for a neighborhood spot. It also turns into a wine bar at night. I ordered the iced matcha honey latte with almond milk. It was good, but definitely on the sweeter side. Almost milkshake-like. (Not frozen, just thicker and sweeter than a traditional matcha). I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for an earthy or classic matcha. The texture was a bit grainy with some settling at the bottom, and I did get a small clump in one sip. Not a big deal, just noticeable. If I had to guess, they use a pre-sweetened matcha powder. They don't advertise having pure or ceremonial matcha, so I'm not too pressed. Just sharing my experience. Service was quick and I got my drink within just a few minutes. There's plenty of indoor seating plus a spacious, dog-friendly patio. The vibe is very social and family-friendly, with lots of conversation, families, and groups. I personally wouldn't come here to study or work, but it seems like a great spot to meet with friends or family, or just a casual coffee run. I'd come back when I'm in the mood for something sweet. I'm curious to try the Cuban latte next time since it gets so much love. I'm glad I checked this place out.

The berry "cobbler" is SO DAMN delicious, but it's not much of a cobbler in my opinion. More like biscuits and berries...but also a must order. It's only about 10 minutes from my place, so I made it super easy early in the morning right when they got there at 8:00., and just note that you have to walk all the way around to the side of the building to get in. Nevertheless, I made it to the door. Super cool fact is they also have outdoor seating which is kind of nice, but the real treasure lies within For starters, this place has a real rustic feel. Definitely warm and inviting, lots of tables to sit at. I was greeted warmly when I came in. Told her it was my first time and she was very excited. I was there and gave me the complete rundown of the place as well as her favorites on the menu. I opted for the tri-tip eggs Benedict.. which comes on their signature. Biscuits. Started things off with a cup of coffee. I don't know what brand they use but it was nice and strong and very delicious. The Benedict itself was truly a work of art. The hash browns were cooked to perfection, and whatever Hollandaise sauce they put on that thing is wonderful. I definitely should have asked for extra. The meat was Smoky and perfectly cooked, and made for a very delightful meal. Added bonus, they have a fully stocked bourbon bar that looked very appetizing. It was only 8:30 in the morning so I really didn't feel right about doing an old fashioned, but I will definitely be coming back here on a Friday night for their rib special and I'll have an old fashioned bin and report back. Bottom line? Everything here is wonderful. I have no complaints and it was a absolutely perfect for star meal. If you are anywhere in the area I say go check it out.

It opened in Downtown Henderson's Water Street District as a family-owned restaurant, and I like that there's some actual history and community involvement behind the place. The owners even stepped up during COVID and opened a food pantry to help local families. Inside, it has a definite old-school UNLV/Rebels kind of vibe mixed with classic diner charm. The menu also has a little Hawaiian flair sprinkled in, reflecting the owners' love for Hawaii, with things like loco moco, an island breakfast and Huli-Huli chicken alongside the traditional diner favorites. This was my second visit, and the food has been very good both times. Today I had an egg-white veggie omelet and added chicken. It was really tasty, loaded with vegetables and cooked well. On my first visit I had the tuna sandwich, which is something restaurants manage to screw up surprisingly often, but theirs was delicious. My buddy ordered a double cheeseburger and fries, and the burger looked amazing. I got to steal a few fries and can confirm those were very good too. One of the best parts of Pacific Diner is the staff. Everyone we dealt with was pleasant, personable and genuinely fun to talk to. They happily answered our questions and had that friendly, caring personality you hope to find in a neighborhood diner. Prices are also very reasonable, especially compared with what breakfast and lunch cost at a lot of places these days. The one thing to be aware of is parking. This part of Downtown Henderson can get busy, and there are several nearby lots where you are NOT allowed to park unless you're visiting those particular businesses, with towing signs posted. If the street spaces immediately around the diner are full, just plan on spending a few minutes looking for a legal spot nearby. Overall, Pacific Diner has tasty food, good prices, genuinely friendly service and a lot more personality than your average breakfast place. We'll definitely be back again.
