For food, I went with the floutas, served with Mexican rice and beans. Everything was delicious, and the portions were more than generous. My husband had chilaquiles with eggs, and he was equally impressed. We also snacked on house-made chips and salsa while we waited, and let me tell you--they were fresh and flavorful. Service was on point. The staff was attentive, and the manager even came by to check on us and make us feel right at home. The food was decent--ordered two burritos (came with diced potatoes), pan dulce for the table, orange juice, two coffees (not bottomless), menudo (very small portion, practically a kid's size), and chilaquiles. Very overpriced for the quality, likely due to the location. Service started off well, but things went downhill when it was time to pay. They automatically added a 20% gratuity by labeling us as a party of five. We asked to split the bill into three, so the error might've been accidental, but it still felt off. After paying, the waiter rushed us out, saying in Spanish, "are y'all done because we have people waiting"--we had only been there about 30 minutes and were celebrating a pregnancy. We decided to try this place after seeing it on several friends social media. The atmosphere was very trendy and cute however the food lacked. We ordered cafe de olla and abuelita's latte hot. The cafe de olla was lukewarm and Just ok. We did not get the latte until after our food had come out already. The burrito was good however the potatoes were cold. The hotcakes were good. The latte tasted burnt and not good. We did not finish our drinks needless to say. Its a cute place for pics but the food and coffee is blah. read more

Horrible service, we literally waited 2 and a half hours to be seated while other people who showed up got seated immediately. They said they don't do reservations so we showed up early on purpose in case if there was a wait - we never got seated and ended up leaving after seeing how we got completely ignored. The pulled pork tacos were okay. The meat was tender but a bit oily. The slaw added a nice texture. Staff were polite and efficient.

I've been walking past this cute food truck for some time now and finally decided to give this place a try, and it did not disappoint!! I ordered a chorizo con huevo taco and a coffee for $5 total. I received my coffee instantly, so I was able to sip on it while waiting for my taco. The coffee was absolutely delicious and had that perfect hint of cinnamon to it. The taco is on the smaller side, but it was enough for me. Came with red/green salsas. The best part by far was the tortilla- so light and soft! I would just buy tortillas from them if I could. Definitely give this place a try! For those on the hungrier side, would recommend ordering a burrito. Wonderful breakfast tacos at Cafecito -- wasn't sure what to expect from a pink corn tortilla, but it was delicious and I highly recommend it. I also loved the iced cold brew (Cafe de Olla), which was richly flavorful with cinnamon. Double appreciation for their outstanding customer service. I picked up my food on my last morning in Fort Worth, leaving my wallet at the restaurant. By the time I realized it they were closed and I had to get to the airport. I called the next day and they offered to mail it to me (!) out of state. A week later, it was back in my hands! THANK YOU for being honest and doing that extra favor to a stranger. The tables are set up like a dining hall and the place is warm and inviting. We only tried cafecito today and it was delicious. The staff was more than helpful and patient as i chose which menu items we would try today. I ordered 3 tacos, papas con juevo, barbacoa, and carne con chili. My husband ordered the brisket burrito all of them were equally delicious. My favorite was the carne con chili. Sooo spicy but soo good! Recommended by my good friend and makeup artist time and time again I finally had to give it a shot! I ordered the barbacoa tacos, brisket tacos and café de olla. My co-workers ordered breakfast taco (chorizo) and more of the same taquitos. My barbacoa was to die for! The freshly made flour tortillas really steal the show here. My brisket was a little dry for my taste but my coworker loved it so that is completely a preference thing. Cafe de olla is coffee with spices like Piloncillo and cinnamon sticks and it always feels like a hug to me. It's hard to come by to I will be making regular coffee stops here for it. My biggest recommendation would be to offer a larger size for the cafecito apart from the small because the small is about 6oz small and I was done with it before I arrived at the office! It's so good!! I'm excited to go back and try the rest of the items on the menu. Note*** the menu can change sometimes- today they did not have the sandwich mañanero so be kind and mindful that sometimes they might not have it** I am following them on social media and they do post that they sell out pretty early so get there early if you want to secure a bite! read more
