Cafeinado is such a vibe. I enjoyed a delicious turkey sandwich and took a meeting in their cute, shaded outdoor hang out area. Cafeinado has created their very own fun slice of paradise in this ordinary strip mall parking lot, with grooving Latin music to complete the vibe. The turkey sandwich was recommended by the nice lady in the window taking orders, and it was pure toasted goodness. The sandwich made the perfect snack in such a fun environment. They unfortunately do not have public WiFi for customers, and connection there was spotty for Verizon. But maybe that's an opportunity for it to be more of a in the moment hang out type of vibe, which I will definitely be back to do. read more

Stopped by here for the first time because I was in the area and it did not disappoint! The lady working the drive thru was super sweet and while you are going to wait a little bit, it's because everything is fresh! This was my first time stopping by to try their coffee and I ordered an iced cafe de olla (cold brew option) with a splash of oatmilk. It wasn't too sweet and they offer a cold foam but I opted out since it has dairy. It's easy to order as they have a window option or a drive thru option. The staff was able to share her favorites and the non dairy options. The wait wasn't long as I would think under 10 minutes for the coffee. I enjoy coming here. It's a small little cute spot. They have a variety of things from a grilled sandwich to a full meal of Chilaquiles they have different unique flavors and coffee. They have cake pots that are bigger than the ones from Starbucks. The young girls are always really nice. The prices are good. The coffee is delicious. The customer service is great. I'm so glad cafeinado was open on my way home to give me a much-needed caffeine boost for the long drive home! I came close to closing hour but still received great customer service with recommendations from the Barista of getting the sugar cookie latte and cinnamon toast latte. Honestly, they made the best sugar cookie latte I've had all season even better than Dutch Bros local bakeries in my area and definitely better than Starbucks. The ingredients tasted fresh and the cream with cookie crumbles was a great touch! I definitely miss this limited addition drink. Service is also very fast through the drive-through line! read more

Finally tried this location. First impressions they made a cute little world with outdoor seating, covering, and swings. The menu offers a few different options which os exciting. Today we got cinnamon crunch cold brew and vanilla latte. The cold brew was sweeter than I was expecting which is a me thing. I would order this again but half sweet. No notes on the vanilla latte. First off this is not for the Gosford area it's for the one on Ming. I never had any issues with Gosford my coffee always came out good over there, so when they opened the new one on Ming I was excited because I live a lot closer. From the first interaction with them there was an issue with how we were ordering our coffee. Me and my partner have been ordering it the same way we did at Gosford no issue Medium Iced White Chocolate MOCHA now we come to Ming it's an issue, all of a sudden we are ordering our coffee wrong. I also order an extra shot of espresso and it still comes out tasting like milk. Apparently I have to ask for less milk when I order an extra shot. A good coffee is a 3 to 1 ratio not a 3:3. They seem to like to put more milk and sweeteners than coffee. read more

Cute spot with a fun concept! The outdoor seating is super inviting, and the misters are a nice touch on hot Bakersfield days. The bagel and cream cheese were good. I love Cafe de Olla. I really love the strength of it and the taste of the cinnamon and other spices. But for this establishment, sadly did not meet my expectations of the coffee. Too watered down and I didn't even taste any cinnamon. I don't recommend this place. First time and only time. The coffee shop inside In Your Wildest Dreams makes an even better cafe de olla. I don't need to add sweetener to their cafe de olla. The service was fast. But in order to get a good cup of cafe de olla, it takes time and it was way too quick. Because for a good cup of cafe de olla, it's worth the wait. Sorry Cafeindado. I support small businesses but you will no longer be getting business from me. I wish you the best of luck. Word of advice. Brew longer the grounded up beans, cinnamon and use grounded up molasses. Take your time making it. Because I am not the only one that is a café de olla connoisseur. Last time I did this method. It tasted great. Strong, little spicy and sweet. Their MATCHAAAA it tastes so earthy and it's sweet, very decently priced! We also go their burritos? They had another name but it was chorizo, egg and beans. ‍ Their not big but they make up for it with the taste, they even come out toasted. It's the perfect on the go meal. read more

I can't believe i haven't reviewed Cafeinado yet! I have been here many times in the last couple years since they opened. If you like regular coffee or Mexican type coffee, this is the spot. There aren't many locally owned coffee shops on this side of town with a drive thru, so its become a top choice for me. They opened when I was super pregnant and didn't feel like walking in places, but then with having an infant to lug around in a car seat the drive thru just kept being an easy alternative. Starbucks gets so old. Anyways enough on convenience, on to the actual place itself. If you like a cinnamon or chocolate vibe to your coffee this is the place. My favorites are the abuelita and the de la olla cold brew. The food offerings are a huge hit for me too, I love the grillers for a little snack. The breakfast grilled cheese is delicious but super fatty/greasy so sometimes it upsets my stomach unfortunately. They also have some sweets, selling a few pastries and their Mexican candy. You have to give this place a try to shake up your coffee routine! read more

I got an horchata frap 10/10 and I also got a s'mores cookie 7/10. When I first pulled up to the window I asked for a minute since this was my first time. Luckily there wasn't anyone behind us so we could look at everything calmly. She asked if we had any questions and was willing to help. It's too sweet for my liking, but if you've got a sweet tooth and need some energy then this is the spot. I can't really pinpoint the flavors aside from sugar. Honestly, I would come here again but I'd probably try a different drink or ask if it could be made less sweet. read more

The menu is lovely. I'm happy there was a walk-up window and seating outside because I wanted to read the entire menu before ordering, which I wouldn't do if I was in the drive-thru. The prices were incredible. I don't know if there was a special deal for Black Friday but we got 4 drinks and two food items for only $22. We loved the strawberry chai, the white chocolate lavender, the mini concha, and the bacon jalapeño grilled cheese. Super disappointed in my order. I've been going to their original location and it used to be good. Recently went to their new location on Ming. Its was upsetting. I ordered 2 drinks and the coffee was super bitter and watered down. I also ordered their chilaquiles, which were horrible. The chips were stale and tough. The sauce just tasted like straight tomato paste, no other flavoring. Couldn't taste the chipotle at all. The only thing that was good was their bacon croissant sandwich. It was so gooey, perfectly toasted and the mayo it comes with was absolutely divine! I ordered at the walk up-window because I was in no hurry, though this place does have a drive thru and by the looks of it, they have speedy service. The staff who tended to me were very nice and were very helpful and patient with me being so indecisive on what to order. The picnic area is absolutely inviting and not so noisy as I would expect given it's right next to a busy main road. It's so cute and charming! So when SoCal Tamal took over this little spot after Rio Açaí I wasn't stoked because I remembered it was just okay to me, but this is in my neighborhood so we ended up visiting several times and I ended up loving them. When they announced they were closing it down and changing to something else I was bummed. I know they have other locations, but I didn't feel like driving out of my way. It's been several months since they changed it over to this cute little coffee shop and we finally visited. I've now visited this little drive-thru coffee shop a few times now and the highlight was definitely the concha. Make sure you get it! The coffees are good. I like how the prices are cheaper than Starbucks. It's a pretty big size cup and they have unique delicious Mexican flavors like Marzapan and Horchata coffees. What I love is the convenience of the drive-thru. I think this spot is a good place, let's just hope this place is here to stay now. The lines get long at times, but they're pretty fast so don't let that intimidate you. They have something for everyone here, so if you don't drink coffee they have other non caffeine options and food too. read more
