When we tried our drinks, mine was fine but hers barely had any flavor--it tasted watered down, like the ice had melted, and it wasn't sweet at all. We went up to the counter and kindly asked if we could switch it out for a different flavor. The worker at the front was polite and said she'd need to check with the manager. However, when she told the manager, the manager made a face, walked to the back, and said "she's trippin'"--then continued making faces. As a manager of a beverage spot myself, I found that extremely unprofessional. Wouldn't you want to resolve the issue, especially when a customer is politely asking? That's how you build loyalty and keep people coming back. To make things worse, the worker who remade the drink also seemed upset, acting like it was coming out of her own pocket--making comments like "bruh" to her coworker. Overall, the customer service left a really bad impression. A simple, kind response from the manager could've turned this experience around completely.

Unlike other donuts which may be heavy and thick, the crullers are airy, and flakey. The outside is crisp with a sweet sugar glaze, while the inside is ever-so-slightly chewy, almost doughy, but trust me, the texture is magnificent. Words do not do these things justice. I have seen some variability in size, but generally they have been adequate. They are so light and delicious, you will ALWAYS have room for a cruller, no matter how much you have just eaten. These things single-handedly secured this place as a 5 star establishment. It has become nearly impossible to drive down this strip of Belt Line for me and NOT stop in and grab a few crullers and donut-holes. All the other donuts are decent and I never pass up the jelly and glazed donut holes, but they pale in comparison to the big C. Great owners, great prices.
