As most brunch/lunch spots are on Sunday it was hard to hear the others at my table. Food was good too. The deviled eggs were good but didn't stand out, would probably skip next time. We got the black truffle pizza which was great. It was PLENTY of food even split between 2 people. It had a great flavor and the crust was to die for. The omelet was good too. It was the CPT which had a lovely pancetta flavor. By far the BEST part of our meal was dessert. The key lime pie was Incredible. The gram cracker crust was clearly fresh and had lime zest in it. The pie filling was bright, punchy, and deliciously creamy. And to top it all off the toasted meringue was no too sweet and added an extra texture that made this dessert absolutely decadent. The quality and quantity of the food here for the price was fantastic and we will definitely be back. The surrounding area is cute too. Overall a great spot I'd highly recommend.

Food - Yolk's menu has classic breakfast and brunch options but be sure you check to table for coffee specials. I ordered an Iced Apple Pie Latte that was served in a glass mason jar. And by chance if you get them on a slower day, ask them about that epic espresso machine. Standard counter service here. You order, then move out of the way to the pickup area. No issues here. 1 Star. Coffee - P&B is known for their Turkish coffee. I've only ordered it once (to take photos), because honestly the coffee is super strong. It is served the traditional way, on a plate with the coffee, more coffee, and a glass of water. It's a little too strong for my tastes, but luckily P&B also can craft traditional coffee drinks iced or hot. I'm an Iced Latte guy and P&B makes an excellent one. 1 1/2 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. Even the manager who was so friendly the first time, giving us a tour and inviting us back, seemed uninterested in the guests. Thinking it was "just an off night" we tried again. Service by the bartender was much more attentive this time, albeit slow--the kitchen's fault, not hers. While she seemed to not know much about the menu--all questions had the answer of "I'll have to ask the chef"--she was friendly. No more Gigante Bean soup? What?!? That was a main draw! Place was pretty dead. Even though we were not hotel guests and they were aware of that, we were also charged a 20% service charge "for room charges only" that was calculated against full prices, not what was paid for happy hour. Hopefully that went to the bartender since nothing more was added. What started out as a place I was recommending to locals after my first visit, now just feels like any other hotel restaurant / bar where they feel they have a captive audience and don't have to try as hard. Unfortunately, "three strikes you're out"--we will not be returning.
