I am pleasantly surprised how good the food is! I love eggs AND deviled eggs and I literally finished working out and was planning to walk my dog around the lake. Food: I ordered the walking taco bowl, crab rangoon deviled egg and the smoked salmon deviled egg. Since it was my first time, all these are staff recommendation. I enjoyed all the items, but I do have to say the walking taco bowl is a little saltier than I think because it has Doritos sprinkle on top that makes it salty. Regardless, I enjoyed everything!!! Plus, if you need to hit your protein goal, this is the spot!!! Walking taco bowl has 70g protein!!! 9/10 overall! I absolutely love the service. Everyone is so nice and helpful. However, I would like to ask the volume to turn down just a snitch, because I had a hard time hearing the staff member. They even let my dog chill! I first heard about this company on Shark Tank and knew I had to give them a try. Since I live in Austin, the delivery schedule took a little planning because they don't deliver on weekends. Before placing my order, I reached out by email to ask about freshness since the delivery was scheduled to arrive several days before our event. The team was helpful and assured me everything would still be fresh. When the order arrived, a few of the egg packages weren't labeled, so we had to guess which toppings went with which eggs. Since we placed a fairly large order, it would have been really helpful if every package had been clearly labeled and included a guide identifying each variety. That said, the deviled eggs were absolutely delicious and were a hit at our event. I would definitely order from them again. Living in Austin, I'd probably wait until I'm visiting friends in Dallas so I can pick up my order directly, but the quality was excellent and well worth trying. read more

The Sound (Coppell/Irving) has landed a location, and I had to stop to check them out (even after I just ate dinner). I'm glad I did. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - It's a very narrow shop with limited seating. There are some outdoor tables and chairs, but I didn't see any umbrellas to protect you from the Texas sun. As you enter, your eyes will be drawn to the glass case where all the ingredients lie ready to be added to a recipe that will transform your deviled egg. 1 Star. Service - The staff member working at Deviled Egg Co was so nice and patient. Being that it was our first time (and we were intimidated by the menu), she made several recommendations to start us off. Also, she even volunteered to be my hand model so I can take a Yelp photo of my eggs. We were curious and peppered her with questions, and she answered every single one with excitement and a smile. 1 Star. Food - There are so many to choose from, and I shared my eggs with our group. I ate the Chicken & Pickle and the Walking Taco. Here's the best description I can give, the deviled eggs taste exactly how they are described/named, except the texture is soft and creamy like a deviled egg. My Chicken & Pickle (grilled chicken + a pickle slice) packed a savory pickle bite that was smooth at the same time. The Walking Taco gave me a similar experience. My egg reminded me of tacos my mom used to make, but it had the texture of a devilled egg. 1 1/2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. My son ate the BBQ one and loved it. Had Daymond John on Shark Tank not raised the bar so high by saying these eggs were the "best thing he had ever eaten in 16 years on the Shark Tank stage", I may have gone up to 5-stars, rounded up from 4.5. The eggs were good. Tried a dozen including four flavors. Would have been nice to be able to get more than four flavors but I assume that has something to do with speed of creation. They offered the option of 2 six-packs which would have allowed for 12 flavors for about $1 more so there is that option. I was expecting more out of some of the flavors, specifically the crab rangoon. That's not one I'd order again. Not bad... just not memorable. They kept well in fridge for 5 hours before eating, having asked for the wonton strips on the side in a separate container so they didn't get soggy. Service from Raechel and her co-worker was fantastic and helpful. They do a good job representing the company. Not being very busy at 12:30pm on a weekday with all the offices nearby concerns me as I'd have to guess that's a high rent district. Seems like they maybe need more items on the menu to make it a true meal destination. I can't imagine suggesting to a group of coworkers that we go eat eggs. ;) I want to try the bagel next. I have a feeling I'll like those even more. Ambiance is fine. Small storefront with minimal indoor seating. Patio seating might be nice as long as it's not 90+ degrees out. Great addition to The Sound Area in Coppell. Split a 6-pack with a friend and each deviled egg is unique, flavorful and a taste explosion in your mouth. I really enjoyed the Crab Rangoon and Backyard BBQ flavors. The Gyro was a bit too salty for me. Looking forward to visiting again to try one of their protein bowls where you have egg whites as the base. Of course I'll also have to try another new flavor or two of deviled eggs as well. It is on the pricier side with limited indoor seating, but worth the experience if you are a devil egg aficionado or are doing a high protein diet. read more

It takes a lot to impress me with a delivered food order, especially for 16 people. Actually, in all of my years having lunches catered, I have never been impressed or wowed with a delivery for a large meeting (10+ people) until today. The 16 protein bowls delivered were fresh, tasty and accurate. The container was so stuffed you couldn't see what was on the bottom. I expected cheap iceberg lettuce, nope it was fresh egg whites filling the bottom of the bowl. I hate to put in the review the is great value, fearful they will raise the prices.
