If you're in the Broadway Vancouver Area, I DONT RECOMMEND coming to this cafe for either pastries or drinks. Atmosphere is rustic but tables and surroundings were dirty. They definitely need to deep clean the place. Service was okay, they had brought me my coffee and pastry but came to me to pay my bill before I was even done. I tipped 15% and the server didn't say thank you. What I ordered: * Apple turnover * Spanish Latte Apple turnover is definitely from Costco. Tastes exactly like them just wish icing sugar sprinkled on and whip cream on The side... don't bother with their pastries. Their Spanish latte just tastes like a mocha. Overall wouldn't come back or recommend.

Perfect day for afternoon tea al fresco...black wrought iron bistro tables and chairs whisk me away from my busy day. Shade trees sway in the light breeze. If you are craving a perfect patio, choose Cittadella. The luscious pastries will delight- the cherry danish, not too sweet, dusted with powdered sugar, delivered to the table by the smiling server. Chai tea served in a handsome teapot and mug. Gracious service. An easy walk over to Ash from either Cambie or Broadway. Lots of street parking.

I love walking and finding out about this lovely place was just an amazing surprise! Usually, I'd stick with places 2 min away from my job, but after finding out about this place it's was a lovely surprise! I go here almost everyday!! THE FOOD IS SOOO GOOD and the one I usually get comes with a soup. It is such a lovely place and so small and quaint! The patio is lovely with lots of sun and a very relaxing atmosphere. I come back daily for to this small little gem!

I was drawn in by the heritage building that the cafe is "housed" in. In terms of atmosphere, it definitely offers something a little different than other coffee shops in the city. The inside is intimate and cozy (if a bit cramped) with seating on two floors, and they have multiple patio areas outside. They had live music inside while I was there! Ordering was a little confusing because there doesn't seem to be a single menu with all the food selections, but rather cards with individual items arranged somewhat haphazardly in the area around the counter. I went with a rooibos tea latte, egg salad sandwich, and black bean oatmeal brownie. They just used President's Choice tea for the latte, which was a little disappointing since I can be a little bit of a tea snob, but in a latte, generic brand tea is really fine, and this was nothing fancy but still a decent latte. The sandwich salad was underwhelming. The egg salad itself was actually pretty good, but the menu picture showed it with lettuce (and I think tomato, but not totally sure) and there was no lettuce - just egg salad. It was just served on plain white bread, not toasted. The black bean brownie was actually fantastic - it was served warm with chocolate sauce on top and was gooey almost like a lava cake in the middle. The wait time was longer than I would have expected given the basic quality of the food. Even though there was a larger group that ordered ahead of me, I had to wait 10 minutes for a cold sandwich and brownie that came out of a fridge or freezer and was almost definitely microwaved (this is not inherently bad since it tasted great, but it does not take long to microwave a brownie), and the latte wasn't ready until about 5 minutes after the food. With the exception of the brownie, you can get much better food at other cafes in the area at the same price, and much faster.

Located in a cute heritage building, I thought the atmosphere was very "cafe like" to study or meet friends for a catch up session. I ended up getting a latte and was fairly unimpressed by it. It had a weird aftertaste, wasn't sure what it was related to, maybe burnt milk?

Cozy place , they do serve alcoholic beverages . I ordered latte+ muffin , it's on promo for 7$ . Only 4 stars since 1$ extra for oat milk . I do believe vegan milk can b stored for longer than a regardless milk so it shouldn't b cost more , especially plenty of places around not charging extra $. I rather tip the barista that extra $

It located in a beautiful old house, it's heritage building. The staff is friendly and coffee is great. I love this place, they have outside patio and upper level seating. It has character and warm décor. Perfect place to meet with friends!

The flat white was quite strong, and while it included Earl Grey syrup, the flavor didn't come through as clearly as expected. The Pastéis de Nata was decent -- not too sweet, but a bit dense.
