Stopped in on the way back from the farmers market for lunch with my friend. The best unknown lunch stop we've made in a long time. I got the quiche which has the perfect flaky crust and a decadent filling with mushrooms and spinach. My friend had the egg salad on a croissant which is the only place I will now get egg salad at a restaurant. The handmade cappuccino was perfection and we got a piece of limoncello cake and a piece of apple pie for later which were bother absolutely delicious! I came across this place when I was running in Sanford Florida. One of my close friends lives up there and when we were finishing up our run for the morning she suggested this place. She told me it is owned by a family. This was quite apparent in the best way. You could tell the closeness from the employees working there. Stopped into this cute cafe' after dropping my daughter off at the Sanford Airport. What a nice find on the water. Well, actually it's across the street from the Lake, but the patio is elevated and nicely shaded to get a view across the road to the lake. The staff was great and right after I ordered I saw someone I knew and started talking with them. Instead of brewing my cappuccino right then and bringing it over, they waited until I was done and made it fresh. I thought that was nice. Cute little coffee shop across from the lake. Went in on Monday morning since I had the morning off from work. Enjoyed a delicious mug of cappuccino and my husband got a tasty cup of mexican hot chocolate (he's mexican and he approved). I got the breakfast croissant sandwich- flaky and yummy. My husband ordered the brekky burrito- also very yummy. I've never had chili in a breakfast burrito before. I spent some time relaxing and reading. Pleasant morning here. However it could use more than one egg on it at the bagel was overpowering the rest of the ingredients. The service I experienced was top notch. The owner was so kind and explain how they prepare their coffee to order. They use the pour over method which takes a little longer but delivers a tasty cup of coffee. Our server, was the owner and I did not get her name unfortunately. She was very nice and apologize for the wait. One interesting item was The table and chairs are all mixed up. It adds bit of charm to this cute little corner restaurant. If I could think of one area they could improve upon would be add a little more ingredients to the egg sandwiches. If I hadn't been having needs to find coffee places to study, I might have never found this place. It's a wonderfully well-lit coffeehouse located right off of Lake Monroe (with the lake view). Atmosphere feels great. Upbeat, bright, and feels like home. A mix of rustic/modern feel. Music consists of a variety of alternative, at a low volume (nice background noise, not loud or disruptive towards your work or conversations). All conducive to work if you're here for that. Coffee here comes in many different flavors and styles. So fresh and tasty. Such that I even drink it BLACK, no creme or sugar needed. I've had three different types so far, and intend to try them all eventually. So far, they've all had rich and strong flavor profiles, but not intensely bitter. Better yet, prices are very reasonable (cheap if you compare this to the likes of Starbucks AND the coffee tastes MUCH better). The couple who own this are great people with cheery personalities and enthusiasm. Friendly folks who are nice and courteous to just about all the customers I've seen order there. They are very open to conversations too, a welcoming site from typical coffee joints. Already remembered me after the first time there. Just really nice people and can't say enough about them. If you are here to grab the coffee and food and work, there's WiFi and outlets for you to do so. This isn't usually the place that people will travel through considering it's not by the park areas on that road. However, well worth the place to visit if you happen to be in the area for some coffee. There's plenty of parking on the street (for free) during the day/noon. This place is a gem. This is the only shop I have visited in the area that offers so many kinds of single-origin coffees. They will brew it for you traditionally or into a cafe-au-lait. I got a cafe-au-lait brewed with coffee from the Galapagos Islands. It was so good--strong with almond and guava undertones. They also serve amazing entrees, bakery items, and snacks. Prices are really reasonable ($2.00 for a large coffee; $2.95 for a large cafe-au-lait) considering the variety of food/drink options, warm atmosphere, welcoming staff, free-wifi access, abundant outdoor seating, and the amazing view of Lake Monroe right on Sanford's riverwalk. To top it off, it is locally-owned and is a great draw for the booming Sanford downtown historic district. I highly recommend Caffe Di Riverwalk. read more

My favorite place to visit on my days off! The friendliest staff and the most delicious,reasonably priced coffee. My fiancé and I discovered this gem a couple months ago when we moved to the area and have visited almost every week. It's family owned so the cafe is open short hours but it's always the peek coffee craving hours. I've tried almost every coffee drink in their menu and have yet to find one I have not enjoyed. My favorite part about this place is that it's ALWAYS the same person who makes my coffee. This is one of my favorite places. Good food, good coffee, reliable wifi, dog-friendly, and it's right on the water. It's so relaxing and serene. I wish I lived close enough to come every day. As far as downsides: 1. It's a little pricey: sandwich and a coffee cost me $13 today, but I usually settle in for a few hours and get some work done. 2. They close at 2pm during the week and are closed on Sundays. I would love to pop over after an afternoon of walking around downtown Sanford. I'm always surprised this place isn't busier. Doesn't get any better in Sanford. This cute cafe is located across the street from the lake and has beautiful big windows so you can take in the view from inside. Small cafe tables are also available outside on the patio. Parking is on the street. On this visit we came in for lunch. We both had the tuna sandwich, which is made on demand and can be customized to what veggies you would like placed inside. We also split a piece of the lemon cake which was delicious! We also enjoyed their green tea which is home brewed and tasted fantastic. The decor is very cute and the atmosphere is casual.
