I don't know how so many people said their food was delicious. The best thing about our breakfast was the complimentary spanakopita. It was really good. Otherwise, both of our coffee drinks were definitely made from prepackaged mixes and our breakfast burritos were SO bland. I had the egg and potato burrito with salsa on the side and it tasted like scrambled eggs with potatoes and zero salt. The menu noted green onions and cheese and I found/tasted neither on mine? Boyfriend had the brekky burrito and said the veggie chili was just the canned stuff you can get at the store. We spent $33 before tip for 2 burritos and 2 drinks and we both regret the decision to stop at this place. Staff were very friendly though. Too bad! read more

Location has great view, but that's all it's got going for it. Food was ok but overpriced for what you get. We ordered a BLT and it had 2 slices of bacon on the entire sandwich for $9, and the tomatoes were gross. I ordered it on white bread and they gave me wheat. My husband ordered the breakfast croissant sandwich and he said it was just ok. We were looking forward to this place based on the reviews, but definitely won't be back. read more

A bit pricey, but that lake view--so worth it! Breakfast options were available. Coffee is served lovingly in a large ceramic mug perfectly topped with foam. Small restaurant so sometimes it's hard to get an outside table when the weather is nice. Cute and comfy atmosphere inside too, but few tables. Yummy pastries available too and artisan sandwiches. It took 25 minutes for us to receive our coffee - first, the printer malfunctioned so they lost our order. Then after informing them that we were still waiting, it took another 10 minutes. Wow... this is by far my favoritest cafe/coffee shop! Felix and Sherrie started it around Summer 2011. They are very friendly and personable- it's a joy to stop by, see them, and get a coffee! Coffee is well priced and Felix makes some of the best latte's! He's always get's the milk temperature just right and pays attention to the small details! Sherrie's bread and pastries are awesome! The atmosphere is really good- right off Lake Monroe. This is one of the only places my wife and I really miss since moving away from Sanford- take advantage of this little wonder while you live in the area! We miss it a LOT! Tip: They're open Monday-Saturday and closed Sundays. Try any one of their 20+ coffee's or one of Felix's signature latte's if you stop by! read more

I have been pretty bummed out ever since Zanzibar coffee in Longwood went to crap. This place however has been my salvation! I can't believe it has only been a few blocks from my house for the last 6 years and I never noticed it. From the moment I tasted the coffee I knew I found my new coffee shop. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. My brother and I tried the homemade coffee cake and it was the best I have ever had. The baristas are beyond friendly and seem very knowledgeable of coffee. It is located on the riverfront so you also have a wonderful view while you sip your morning concoction. I highly recommend Caffe Di Riverwalk to everyone. read more

My bf and I were staying nearby on vacation and did a yelp search for breakfast. When I saw the reviews for this place I almost assumed the owners paid people to write them. But no, it was just as good as the reviewers say! My boyfriend had the rocketfuel coffee with a shot of hazlenut flavor and said it was delish. I had the hot chocolate which wasnt anything special but I guess their mexican hot chocolate is the raver. He had some type of omelet on a tomato wrap which he loved. I had turkey egg and cheese on a croissant which was also delish. We took a slice of limoncello cake to go which was amazing as well. Beautiful scenes right on the lake to look at as you eat and drink, nice servers... But I do not find this cafe--and its coffee--to be as noteworthy as it seems to be by past reviews. I wanted to like it, and found a couple of good things about it, but I was not as impressed as other reviewers were by Caffe Di Riverwalk. Be careful looking for this place--it is not marked well at all, no signs and only the small words "coffee house" on a discreet building to show it is there. My friend and I wanted coffee and sandwiches to go, and decided to try here after reading the reviews. We ended up driving past it and had to go back after confirming we had done so on our GPS. The good: - The servers, particularly our cashier, were pretty friendly and worked efficiently to get our sandwiches. - The turkey was very good and made for a nice basic sandwich. - The Thai iced tea was really yummy, flavored with the right amount of sweetness and a light flavored drink all together. The not so good: - The coffee we tried was not notable. I tried a Mexican mocha, which had little coffee flavor and not a strong chocolate flavor though Mexican mocha should have a little bit more zip to it than regular mocha. My friend said his regular coffee was just okay. We did not want to try anything else after not being jazzed with these. - The other beverages were all right, but again, not notable. The Mexican hot chocolate is different in flavor compared to other hot chocolates, but very, very sweet (almost too much for my big sweet tooth). The Thai iced tea, though notes before as good and worth a try, lost its flavor when mixed and not sipped up right away. - There was not a wide selection for sandwiches. - The servers hovered as my friend and I were trying to figure out what to get. (Maybe it was a slow time and they wanted to do something since the owners were right there?) The owners, though very nice and welcoming, also did not seem to leave us alone as we waited for our items and after we received them and wanted to sit for a minute after our travels. My friend and I were inadvertently chased out by one of the owners, who wanted to keep talking to us and checking to see if we liked our drinks. She insisted we sit outside, as we had been inside waiting for our sandwiches to be made to go; we nodded and just left without being able to sit comfortably for a little. Maybe it was just an off time (late Saturday morning), maybe other people like something different than me and my friend, or maybe it is more for breakfast, but I do not think I would make an effort to go back. Good, not so good, and not noteworthy--these were the impressions I left with for Caffe Di Riverwalk. Sure, it has a spectacular view of the lake and boats all around, and the shop brews it own coffee, but how long does that go when you do not have choices for food and the coffee does not bring a little zip to your step? read more

Ironically the only disappointment was the cafe au lait that tasted kind of watery and we didn't finish. Regardless we liked the place and will go back when in Sanford. The coffee is super tasty, I ordered a pumpkin spice latte with soy milk. I also got the blue springs veggie sandwich which was pretty tasty. I could tell if you are vegan which I am, there's definitely crossed contamination. Probably not the best place to go if you are vegan but worth a shot. Would come back! I arrived around 9:45 am on a Wednesday morning and was able to find free parking right out front. There was no line but only 3 of the 6 inside tables were vacant. There are several outside tables to choose from. If I had a sweater, I definitely would have sat outside. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. I ordered the Big Breakfast Burrito. It has 4 eggs, cheese, bacon & salsa. I only ordered water to drink. I was pleased to taste clean water out of a clean pint glass. I don't like drinking out of plastic. The atmosphere is very relaxed and on the water. There is a peaceful instrumental music playing in the background... Very soothing. The burrito was delicious! They have Cholula hot sauce available if you like to add a kick. It was a well wrapped item that didn't fall apart, which I can't say for every burrito I've encountered. When given the opportunity, I will usually wreck myself. This was perfect. There was no burrito juice streaming down my wrist either! It's the little things... The only thing that needed attention was the Cholula bottle. It was a bit greasy when I picked it up. Other than that, the place is spotless. Super cute little cafe on the water. My boyfriend and I stopped for here for breakfast after reading a yelp review. I ordered a turkey and egg croissant with tomato, mayo, and mustard. The croissant was buttery and flaky and there was a generous portion of turkey. I also ordered a pumpkin latte. It was big and beautiful. I like mine a tad sweeter, but it was still delicious. My boyfriend ordered an egg and salsa burrito with a spinach wrap. It came out hot and was very tasty. He also ordered a berry smoothie. Delicious! It tasted like it was made from fresh fruit. Though it was breakfast, we couldn't pass up ordering dessert. I ordered the limoncello cake. it was light and fluffy and moist! So incredibly delicious. The lemon cream was so yummy. Caffe di Riverwalk, with its lovely view of the sunrise over Lake Monroe, coupled with the excellent coffee and spot on food choices, does just that. I stopped in here between work meetings a couple weeks ago. The location is beautiful and right on the water. I had a chai tea which I would have preferred creamier and a biscotti. I loved the biscotti, but I think they changed me the wrong price for it. The have WiFi which is helpful if you want to work. It was a great time when I was there because I spoke to a lot of locals. The only issue being that you order at the counter. In this situation, the family in front of me took a very long time to order so I was left standing in line waiting. read more

So I gave this place a try recently and had the egg and potato wrap. What I really got was a potato wrap lacking enough scrambled egg to tell there was any in there and potatos were under cooked to me and kept inspecting for egg as if they forgot the egg. The counter person was a bit rude in a reply when my friend asked if they forgot the cheese on hers as I had never seen anything like this garbage coming from California. So best to stop at McDonald's for a better wrap. I mistakingly tried this place again 5/23. I saw they had bagels I saw the 1.60 on their board and spread was extra. Ok. I wanted a large coffee. Came to over $9 wth? Why so much. I asked how much was the cream cheese? I didn't ask for a pound of it. $2.95 was more than the bagel?! wth? So no thanks on the cream cheese. Then, I get my receipt. See everything bagel was $2 not $1.60 and clumsy guy bringing my cup of coffee spilt part of it and almost all over my friend and didn't offer to give me more. So eh not again!
