The shop was very spacious and does have limited seating inside but a couple of tables outside. We ordered the Uber Lava, Sweet Corn, and Honey Lavender latte along with an almond croissant and jalapeno cream cheese croissant. The Ube Lava was really delicious (as an Ube lover). I would have liked a bit more of the latte so maybe I'll get the additional espresso shot next time but it was a tasty sweet drink. I also really enjoyed the jalapeño cream cheese croissant although would have liked more cream cheese spread out (the croissant itself was amazing). I've been here a handful of times over the past month since I usually charge my car nearby and walk over. The first couple of visits were great, which is why I kept coming back, but unfortunately the experience became very hit or miss. The biggest issue for me is inconsistency. Some days the drinks taste fine, and other days they're noticeably watered down and lacking flavor. It really seems to depend on who's making the drink. That said, the staff is always nice and friendly, which I do appreciate. Here's what I've tried: Americano - Very light in flavor, almost tasted watered down. Corn latte - You definitely need to mix it well, once mixed it tastes better. It's not really a sip-as-you-go drink. Banana matcha - The first one I got was watered down, but they were kind enough to remake it. The foam itself is really good, but I'm not sure it pairs that well with matcha. Earl Grey latte - Light Earl Grey flavor but overly sweet. Overall, the inconsistency is what makes it hard to justify coming back. I love caffé in, this is by far my favorite coffee place in the area. Every drink i've had is so good, if it's your first time there try the Madagascar vanilla latte or the earl grey matcha. We tried the banana cream matcha and the cream top Madagascar latte. The banana cream top was very banana forward and more of a natural banana taste vs the usual banana pudding flavor. I have gone here quite a lot and it has become one of my favorite for consistency, taste, and matcha! It is also probably the best cream top place I have had so far. It is THICK and I have seen them scoop it out of a container into the cups lol. I tried most of the popular items: sweet corn cream, banana cream, brown sugar oat, strawberry latte, earl grey matcha, etc. I have not been disappointed once. The sweet cream corn is actually good, but I won't say it's something I'll crave. Do give it a shot if you're feeling adventurous! All of the cream tops are solid choices. And it's not a place where the sweetness overpowers the latte flavor. The espresso and matcha shine through. And in terms of matcha, I have been lately disappointed when I order at various cafes because the matchas taste more like milk or sweetener. But this actually has the strong tea taste that I love. We thought our drinks were super yummy! My friend really liked that they use actual strawberry puree for the strawberry matcha. Ordered one of their signature drinks, matcha latte w/ a cream top that's made in house. Opted for almond milk with the matcha even though their cream top does have dairy in it still. The worker did warn me that it is fairly sweet and I still said sure that's fine. If it's under their signature lattes then that's always a first option for me! And he was def not lying. I tried the jalapeño cream cheese croissant ($5.75) and the red velvet cookie ($5.50). The croissant was so beautiful to look at in the display case and it was just calling my name. It's covered in black sesame seeds which actually all fell off in large chunks as soon as I took the first bite lol. A lot of cream cheese filling and chopped up jalapeños throughout the whole thing. I had my bf take a big bite of this because the cream cheese was a bit much for me because I'm not the biiiiggest cream cheese lover, but luckily he's a big fan! The red velvet cookie was yummy but a bit on the dry side but batches can be different. The guy said that this cookie and the lotus biscoff cookie are the two most popular ones. We came for their cream topped drinks, and they did not disappoint. With a big group we tried multiple drinks, but the vanilla coffee with cream top, peppermint mocha with cream top (seasonal), green grape ade, and earl grey matcha with cream top were stand outs. I later found out the "shots" option actually means espresso, not matcha. That wasn't clear at all. I've been to quite a few cafés where, when altering a matcha order, "shots" means extra servings or grams of matcha -- so that's what I reasonably assumed here. Makes sense now why it tasted so off. While some people might catch it, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the menu to specify "espresso shots" if that's what they mean. Without that clarification, it's really easy for customers to get misled. Owner: it would really help to update the wording so future customers aren't confused by this. read more

We went to this place yesterday and experienced a level of discomfort for handicapped people and patrons who want to drink their coffee there and sit and chat. We went during the middle of the day when it was very busy. The weather outside was hot, so we planned on sitting and relaxing inside. No seats. No seats with seat backs available. Lots of open space, but no where to sit. It was not fun for us. We have one person who walks with a cane and need to sit in a sturdy chair. No where to be seen. Your coffee might be very good. Your service is excellent. The warmth and comfort of the coffee shop is one of the worse in Orange County. Please consider all people when designing your interior space. You will have some who want to sit on their computers for hours, and you will have some who want to relax and talk to someone face to face. If you want to get coffee and take it back to work, this is a great place. If you want to stay, not so good. read more

Came in this morning hoping to enjoy a new local coffee spot with my partner, but instead we were met with some of the worst customer service we've experienced. My partner ordered a latte with cream top and was handed the drink without a lid. When he asked if there was a lid available, the female employee handed it over with obvious attitude, said absolutely nothing, and acted as if he was inconveniencing her for asking a simple question. What made it worse was that she immediately looked over at another employee and smirked, which felt incredibly rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. No customer should feel mocked or disrespected for asking a basic question about their order. It completely ruined the experience and set an awful tone for the morning. On top of that, both coffees were mediocre at best. With so many better coffee shops in the area offering both quality drinks and incredible service, there is absolutely no reason to come back here. Visited here on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't too busy! There were some tables available, but it seems like they get a decent amount of traffic on a weekend day. Two of us got a matcha cream top latte, one got a strawberry cream top latte, and another got an americano. For the price and value, it was pretty standard. It didn't take too long for our drinks to be made. Trying the cream top first, it was definitely pretty thick! A lot more thicker than most places I have tried, but it was pretty nice. I wish the matcha was more prominent, but it was still overall a pretty good drink. The matcha latte itself was also pretty nice. I got to try a little bit of the strawberry and at first glance, it looked overly sweet, but it was not bad at all. It did taste a bit more artificial with the strawberry syrup. As a study place, not that great cuz the space is smaller and since they are pretty busy there's quite a bit of background noise. They have some tables, but they tend to get filled up even for a weekday afternoon. The large table they have is an odd height (super low) if you are trying to do work, you'd need a laptop stand if that's the case. The seats near the windows have an outlet, not sure about the other tables on the right side of the space. Music is chill to a little upbeat, Korean and American iirc. As far as drinks and service go, great. Their hojicha is amazing quality and they charge for alternative milks, but wow it knocked my socks off. Nutty and rich with a toasted flavor.
