Cactus Blossom - an iced matcha latte with strawberry puree
    Aimee H.

This is a small but wonderful coffee shop and bakery. The beautiful windows look out over Pine Street or you can sit on the patio for prime people watching. The staff are friendly. They have great seasonal specials, like the 'Cactus Blossom' iced matcha latte with strawberry puree and homemade Rose Cardamon you can add to a latte. The scones are great, and I really enjoy the cheese and meat savory croissants. You can order ahead using the 'Joe' app for even faster service and score some loyalty points. Check it out!

Wonderful service. Amazing coffee. I had the turkey havarti croissant It was perfect. I would have given 5 stars if it were cleaner. I would definitely recommend

In a land of overpriced coffee shops, Caffe Ladro stands out by having good quality drinks and food at a reasonable price. The baristas are all super friendly and the vibes are chill so it's a nice place to get a coffee and relax. Also, if you come around closing time, all of the pastries are discounted by a lot and it's such a great deal! I love the almond cranberry cake and chili jack scones here. I enjoy intense almond flavors like you get from marzipan and almond extract, and the almond cranberry cake has the perfect amount balanced by the fruitiness of the cranberries. The cake is super moist and tender with a good crunch from the sliced almonds on top. The chili jack scone surprised me because usually scones at coffee shops are super dry, but the scone here was crispy on the outside while soft and tender inside. It had a good flavor from the cheese and peppers, and pockets of cheese caramelized around the outside of the scone giving it a really tasty frico cheese skirt.

Greet coffee and yummy delicious treats! Barista was very friendly and we chatted after I got my coffee as I was the only one there at the time. The ambiance is just so calming and enjoyable, I highly recommend it if anyone is in the area.

A cozy coffee spot with creative drinks. We enjoyed both our lattes with a hint of orange and chocolate. The Chocolate Crossiant was alright. Too bready for my liking. Service was fast and friendly though.

I had the seasonal Orange Cardamom Latte and it was amazing! If you are looking for a flavorful latte that is NOT sweet, try this!

Such a cute cafe in downtown! The barista was so kind to us and explained in detail of our drinks and asked how we wanted it and how she would do it thoroughly which was great! Definitely recommend the Rose Cardamom blended latte! I love cardamom in a drink bc it's so distinct yet flavorful, you can really taste it. I'd get this again hands down! (And yes I got blended even tho it was cold outside but all that walking in a puffy coat and thick sweater calls for a cold beverage lol to balance the temp). My coworker liked her matcha iced latte as well!

Beautiful well lit space conveniently close to convention center- first time trying iced Medici - a mocha w slightest orange zest taste- not too sweet, excellent strong drink & staff were welcoming & helpful.

They clearly care about their image as they offer a free mug for first-time customers with an email sign-up. The drinks here are ok, but they average between $8-$10 each. I think the pricing is just much too high. You're paying for the vibes, not for a great cup of coffee. The matcha we tried was mediocre. There are so many other great places for coffee in Seattle, for just a fraction of the price. I think Storyville is preying on tourists visiting the market. They probably have to charge that much to keep the 8 employees milling about behind the counter employed. The space does have lots of seating, but it was nearly full during our early afternoon visit. Save your money, find another great local coffee spot!

This was on a Sunday afternoon close to 5pm, and there were still so many people occupying nearly every seat inside. I did come back to try their matcha matcha drink only to find it gone from their current menu as of May 2026. Instead, their turon matcha immediately caught my eye, as it has banana and I've been obsessed with banana-flavored toppings and puree on my matcha lately. It has matcha and house banana puree, both of which work well together. The tiny layer of house banana puree has all the flavor, especially when you mix the whole drink together. Very refreshing, and their ceremonial matcha's grassy tones still came out despite the banana puree being just as strong in the drink. Their matcha here comes pretty close to making it to the highest spots on my list of my most favorite matcha places in Seattle. Even if it isn't on the top of that list, their drinks are still 5+ star quality.

The shop is located in the U.S. Bank building and has a steady flow of people coming in and out. For some reason it reminded me of a coffee shop I visited near a major train station in Germany years ago. I can't remember the name, but it had that same feel--busy without being chaotic. I ordered a 12-ounce latte. The coffee itself was good, smooth, and made exactly how I'd want a morning latte. My only complaint is the price. By the time I added a tip, I was a little over eight bucks into a fairly standard drink. That's probably the reality of downtown coffee these days, but it still made me pause for a second. What I liked most was the location. There's something nice about sitting with a coffee and watching downtown wake up around you. Between the people heading to work, the foot traffic outside, and the overall atmosphere, it felt like a great spot to start the day. Would I go back? Absolutely. The coffee was good, the service was quick, and despite the price, I enjoyed the experience enough that I'd stop in again the next time I'm nearby.
