We were looking for a place to have breakfast and cool off and this was next to the visitor center. I didn't have high expectations as I assumed it would be geared towards tourists but was pleasantly surprised. The start was a little rocky. The waitress was a bit curt but warmed up to us. My spicy cocktail was very good but had a hair in it. They brought a cup with a lid and straw for my son without asking. I appreciated that. The food came and portions were pretty big but everything was delicious. The country omelette was ginormous and had gravy on top which I was trying to scoop up. The avocado toast with poke was tasty and came on a different bread from the avocado toast with burrata which was brioche. My son ate a third to half of the burrata avo toast. We will definitely come back and it's conveniently located next to the public beach. I have my eye on the breakfast pizza. read more

Absolutely loved this place. We came back a second time even on our vaca because it was that good. There aren't too many waterfront Delray (surprisingly). This place has a nice view of the beach and pretty palms across the street. The staff is great as well! Both times I visited I had the burrata avocado toast. It was amazing! It was super fresh and probably the best avocado toast I ever had! I also tried the blood orange mimosa and the watermelon mimosa. The watermelon mimosa was my fav and they use fresh watermelon juice, (which makes it healthy! Ha!). If I make it back to Delray, I will definitely stop here for brunch again! read more

I had been here for dinner awhile back and never came in for brunch. It was off the chain. My only complaint was the heat as the doors are all open to the outside and it's been a very hot summer. I was sweating. We started off with Watermelon and Key Lime mimosas which were just ok for the price. The breakfast, however, was simply amazing. I got the loaded potato pancakes with 2 over easy eggs on top. The salsa has a nice flavor and I finished the entire thing! My boyfriend raved about his pastrami/ corned beef hash omelette. Right across the street from the beach, it's a nice outdoor atmosphere. We had Branzino and Scallops, both were well prepared. The wine offerings were enjoyable. Went here for breakfast. It is located right on A1A just off Atlantic Blvd in Delray and right across from the beach. There are sidewalk tables; however, I decided to sit at an inside table in front of the giant open windows with both a view of the beach and AC. I loved how they left a full coffee pot on the table so I could refill my coffee at will. I ordered a spinach egg Benedict and was offered to add fresh tomatoes to it, which I did. Perfect location on the beach!! Came for a quick brunch before checking out the rest of Delrey Beach - so glad we did!! Prices are a bit high, but you get what you pay for! (See photos) They had the freshest and most delicious watermelon juice!! Pretty sure the owner was working the host stand and seating people when we walked in. I've eaten here so many times that they probably think I'm a stalker. I went the other morning mid morning and I'm out of breakfast fan so I got the linguine with white clam sauce. I had been to this restaurant 10 years ago and it had great food, atmosphere and location right at the beach but it has not aged well. The only thing that was amazing was the dinner staff and the fresh bread and roasted garlic aoli. The seafood pasta (one of the most expensive entrees on the menu) literally had a mix of possibly "fresh" fish, mussels and imitation crab pieces in a lack luster sauce. Other pasta dishes were a little better. The real last straw though was not the stomach issues after the meal but the realization that when you really look around at this restaurant you notice how dilapidated it has become. The bathrooms are so bad that one of my guests described it as worse than a boat head in hot weather at high seas. read more

Been coming here for 7 years and have a slow decline in food. Sad. Being from Philly I would bring friends and family here. I would recommend all the time. Had scrapple there a week or so ago and had to send back. It's a Philly food and it was served like a flat pancake. Will not be recommending anymore. The service was bad this time around, we ordered the pancakes and in our syrup pourer was a packet of artificial sweetener which I'm not supposed to consume. They don't know how it got in there. Our waiter wasn't very apologetic at all, they should have brought us a new stack of pancakes. They did not go that extra mile for us. And to top it off, our waiter chased us down because we didn't leave him a tip. He followed us all the way around the corner almost to our car, it made me feel uncomfortable! Had a great brunch experience today at Luna Rosa. If you want breakfast (or any meal) with a view, this is the place to go! Luna Rosa promises to provide exceptional service, and they did just that! Food came out fast, was tasty, and worth the wait. French toast was pretty average but very thick and not too "eggy" like most. Eggs Benedict was great and came with some AMAZING potato latkes, seriously so good! Both are very filling meals. Got the cabbage hash too, never had it before and it's certainly an acquired taste. Thanks for the memories. This restaurant had mixed reviews ... some five stars, some one stars ... so I was hesitant to visit this restaurant at first. When reading the menu, I saw Cream Chipped Beef on Toast. This took me back to my father who would make this on an occasional Sunday. We drove up from Miami, found street parking and my family of five were seated within 3 minutes. They were quick to get our beverage orders, then Deezy (our server) appeared to get our food order. He was friendly, didn't rush us (which is a testament to his patience because we are 5 undecided foodies), and he understood the menu able to answer our questions. The food came very quick, the presentation was awesome and the tastes was amazing. The 5 of us ordered 6 dishes and no one could decide what the best one was ... they were all skillfully prepared and delicious. The ambiance was very relaxed yet sophisticated. The fellow customers were all enjoying themselves as much as we were. Cafe Luna Rosa was worth the trip from Miami. I love to try local eateries when on the road ... some are hit or miss. We had a gift card from Luna Rosa that we hadn't used in almost 2 years so, while we are not big fans, figured we'd try it out again. Big mistake. They sat us right by the sidewalk and it was not a good table. People practically walking on top of us. The server seemed nice enough and got our drinks and took our food order. Forty (40) minutes later we still had not been brought our meals. So she asked us what we had ordered and then said, oh, the other server that took your order never put it in. When we finally got the food, it was COLD and pretty disgusting. We sent the burger back because it was not edible. They brought it right back after plopping in the microwave because it was still pretty bad. My eggs benedict were not as bad as the burger so I ate some of it, but the toast was really hard and the eggs were cold. When we asked for a desert menu as we couldn't eat much of our food, we were told the kitchen was closed and would be another hour before it re-opened. We dropped the gift card which was for a lot more than the bill and left because we will NEVER be back. How this place is always so busy and gets good reviews is a total mystery to us! read more

We went for a late breakfast. Food was fine. I asked for bacon crispy like a cracker and said it was ok if it was burnt. It came out not crispy at all. The watermelon Mimosa was disgusting. I couldn't even drink it. My friend didn't like her watermelon mojito either. Eggs were fine, grits were good. Potatoes came out not hot but they were still good. They were cooked with onions.
