We decided to try out Cafe de l'Homme on a friend's recommendation on our first night in Paris. We had a prior reservation on the patio for a view of the Eiffel Tower. It was raining that day and were a bit late but the host sat us without any complaints. Our server was the sweetest and had our champagnes ready while we were busy adoring the Eiffel Tower. The ambience both inside and out on the patio is truly amazing, very upscale and very magical. The view of the Eiffel Tower from the patio is AMAZING! Completely unobstructed and you can gaze at the Eiffel Tower for as long as you want and get a lot of photos in. For the food, we ordered some truffle pasta, fries, steamed veggies and floating cloud for dessert. The food was so scrumptious! Surprisingly, they had a lot of veggie options too. We loved the dessert too. It was very unique and very French. I will definitely be back here. This place is a bit higher on the price point and they charge £60 per person for sitting out on the patio. This charge includes the champagne too, food is separate.

The food was amazing. Love the duck and the prawns. The view was unbelievable. We feel lucky to have spent our last night in France here.

We are on the Terrence of Cafe Du L'homme having dinner.

The view of the Eiffel Tower is fantastic. BUT it costs 60eueros more which would have been an extra $280.00. We had reservations for in doors. When we arrived the hostess tried to steer us outdoors. We did not bite! So we sat indoors and our server was Wallid and he made the evening special. I cannot say anything good about the food with the exception of the duck which was good and the lemon meringue was exceptional. But... The peas were hard The chicken dry The gnochoi was rubbery. Maybe stop here for an adult beverage for a toast and an appetizer and celebrate like that.

This place was the best restaurant I been to on my trip to Paris France The energy here was very healthy and wealthy. My guy Nader was very professional energy was amazing the guy was the best waiter I have had in my experience of going to eat at fine dinning restaurant. Was a big help putting a great conclusion to my Paris France trip created excellent ambiance for my wife and I. Made her birthday very good experience and she was very happy. Seeing the Eiffel Tower was great too enjoy that in the background. I will be coming back next time we are in Paris Greetings from Los Angeles California

Very friendly and accommodating for our toddler! View was spectacular. I personally think when you go here you pay for the view, not the food. That being said, four a tourist place with an amazing view the food was decent and expensive.

The ambiance was incredible, the service was friendly, the duck was unforgettable. They had blankets and heaters so the chilly night was perfectly cozy. I loved it. 4 out of 5 because they didn't know how to make classic vodka martini with a twist. But we drank wine instead!

    Cappuccino after dinner.

Visiting from the U.S. Had dinner here and it has a great view of the Eiffel Tower. Staff was overall very attentive and polite. The food was wonderful and presented very nicely.

    Our view from our table

Ambiance was amazing with a modern vibe Food was excellent and the service was top notch. We have done a few dinners around Paris and this was our favorite view and dining experience. Wow!

Absolutely AWFUL experience. I've dined at top-tier restaurants all over the world, and nothing compares to the level of incompetence and disrespect I experienced here. To sit outside with the view, I was forced to pay OVER $200 for myself and my two friends -- just to sit outside for the view on my birthday -- only to be completely ignored for over 30 minutes before anyone bothered to greet us or even offer water. When a server finally showed up--curt, dismissive, and unapologetic--we were told we had to move inside because it "might" rain. I asked about the $200 I paid specifically to sit outside, and the manager became shockingly rude and aggressive, insisting there would be no refund, even though sitting inside costs nothing. Make it make sense. We were shoved at an awful, cramped table against a wall, forgotten all over again for another half hour, and the appetizers we'd already been served outside never reappeared. Our food never arrived at all. No check-ins. No apologies. Just attitude and negligence from start to finish. And yet they still handed us a nearly $400 bill as if they had provided anything even resembling service. This was, without exaggeration, the most disgusting, unprofessional, and infuriating dining experience I have ever had. I cannot recommend strongly enough: do not go here--ever.

We came here and had the most amazing time! Darius went above and beyond, giving us the best dining experience I've ever had. The food was 100 out of 10! The view left us speechless, it is with every penny!!! My mom and I are forever grateful for his kindness and exceptional service!

IGNORE THE REVIEWS ABOUT POOR SERVICE. This place is an amazing experience! The service was incredible. Tom was our waiter and was so kind. He took many pictures for us inside and outside on the terrace. He made us feel very welcome, offered recommendations when we asked and never once rushed us or made us feel like a bother. His assistant waiter was Darius who also provided fantastic service along with a great personality, and humor. I would 100% comeback, the food was amazing! Below is what we ordered. I made reservations for my partner and I before reading reviews here and honestly was a bit scared to get turned away at the door as others had. But we had a delightful experience! We got their 'Eiffel experience' and paid a fixed cost that included 3 course dinner, front row table, unlimited champagne (one that's 130 euro a bottle!) and a few little gifts at the end (chocolate, wine, and whiskey from the museum!). I felt it was a really great value all in. We set our reservation to begin shortly before sunset, so we could see the tower in the daylight and sparkling at night, highly recommend! Food was pretty good, certainly not the best I've ever had but tbh I've felt this way no matter where I've gone in France. And so the reason for 4 stars. Our waiter was attentive enough to refill our champagne but food was a bit slow. But hey, where else have we got to be? We stayed from our 20:15 reservation till about 23:30, and it was lovely.

The richness of the flavor and the texture which is not reminiscent of the traditional roasted duck or foie gras, but rather a much more like a luxurious and indulgent version. We enjoyed our dinner on the outside of the restaurant after about a 20-30 minute wait. The bone marrow had the best flavor I've experienced for the dish. However, it is definitely overshadowed by the rich flavor of the foie gras. This experience was unforgettable, with our view of Parisian streets on a brisk, April night. We even came back on our last night, but didn't realize the hours on Google maps was for the deli. The restaurant closes earlier, before 9:00 PM. This meal got us thinking about Paris in a positive light, and we hope to be able to come back to eat the amazing dishes again!

As a Chinese, I understood more than 50% of the conservations (Chinese). Which doesn't mean anything about the food. Just observation. Onion soup - 2 stars. First, the cheese failed to emit the baked, melted gruyere cheese, there is no aroma at all. I don't think they used gruyere cheese. May be mozzarella cheese. The worst part was the bread in the soup. It tasted stale which ruin the flavor of the soup. I had to finish without the bread. Escargot - Another disappointment. What made escargots special was the garlic butter and herb. Here, there were the herbs, no garlic, and French is famous with their butter but I taste oil but not buttery. Other places I actually get excited dipping the bread into the garlic butter but not here. Pan seared Foie gras - The quality of Foie Gras was definitely there. It's not as well seared as I hope but they managed to cook it through without overcooking it. The size of Foie Gras is kind of scary, it's like a small piece of rib eye steak. With just the onion soup and Foie Gras, I could barely swallow anything. Generous portion.

Chef Hugo is visible in the kitchen, working very hard to make everything just perfect. They brought bread immediately (my husband loved the sliced baguette--it was perfect and chewy as it should be, but not hard). We ordered a bottle of wine, a Macon Villages, which was perfect. I had the cucumber salad appetizer, which was so fresh. My husband ordered the ravioli appetizer--tiny little rectangles in a scrumptious sauce--a work of art. I ordered the fish and shrimp plate. The sauce was amazing and it was a huge portion of tender white fish. My husband had the lamb with frites. It was nicely seasoned & perfectly done. For dessert, my husband enjoyed a chocolate treat and I had refreshing raspberry sorbet. Deborah was so friendly and solicitous throughout the meal. I have never felt so well taken care of. (I have seen some comments from people who are unhappy that they can't just walk in. They don't appear to understand that there is only one seating. People arrive when they do and they linger. Empty tables seen from the street do not mean the place is not fully booked. Make a reservation well ahead of time. It is worth it!)

The only thing is we had miscommunication with the waitress about drinks. We asked for water (l'eau) but they gave us distilled water in a bottle which costed us 8 euros. I learned it's important to learn to specifically ask for carafe d'eau (tap water in French) to get free water! Felt a bit bad that we were overcharged.
