My friend dined on matzoh ball soup while I tried the goat cheese and pomegranate salad. I could smell her soup and it smelled delectable. My salad was wonderful and bright. We both had the brisket with potato latkes and it was very good and well prepared. My grandmother would have been proud! For dessert, we both enjoyed the lavender crème brûlée, and although not traditional, it is something that is a sweet and light end to a perfect meal. Of course I had an espresso with mine (coffee queen here!). This restaurant continues to stand out for its delightful service and delicious food. The baguettes alone are enough to warrant a visit to this restaurant. Other favorites of mine include the salmon, tarragon chicken (the sauce is to die for) and the duck. The crepe was somewhat lackluster, the crepe itself came out soggy instead of fluffy, and the jam was also very watery and didn't have much flavor. Servers were very busy, so service was just ok. We were originally going to get coffee to go, but changed our mind at the last minute while ordering, and was told that we would have to be rung up as sit-down service if we chose to sit. Which we didn't mind at all, but the man at the counter was very curt about it.
