Why go to France when you can go to La Nouvelle Maison right in our backyard ? For the ultimate in French cuisine don't walk - run to this upscale charming venue. We were 3 couples - our Community Restaurant Club- here for the first time. We were all blown away by the exquisite venue, service by Olivier, our waiter and the staff, as well as the incredible presentation, and fresh light flavor of our entrees. We started with drinks and appetizers. Warmed crusty bread in signature bags were brought to the table. We shared a Florida salad which was delectable. One couple shared a smoked salmon platter. Soon after our entrees were delivered. Four of us had the red snapper. Others had the magnificent scallops, and the incredible veal chop which cut like butter. Our very special dessert was the Grand Marnier Soufflé. Complimentary valet service was provided. The bathrooms were elegant. Each dining room was charming and inviting. We were seated at a very comfortable round table in a cozy corner. It felt like the best table in the house with a window overlooking the outside. It was very romantic. We all rated our experience a 5.

Get the soufflé! Order it in advance. It's enough to share. I really loved almost everything except my main meal. Appetizers were perfect. As for the veal Milanese. I didn't care for the flavor of the oil it was fried in. The duck was delicious! The bread service was excellent. The ceasar salad presentation is wonderful. One upsetting issue was an allergy that was confirmed at reservation and at arrival and yet was ignored and placed on the plate. I ate some from my son's plate which didn't have the allergen. An allergy is very serious and had I not noticed I would be very sick. It's not ok to place it on the plate with food and act like it's not a big deal. It's a big deal!

The in-house made cube of tarragon marshmallow (part of the langoustine bisque dish)

One of the best dining experiences we've had in Boca in the last few years, from the delicious food through the impeccable service and the wonderful ambience. We were seated in an inner room with 4 tables so it was more intimate, and well suited for celebrating our anniversary. All four tables sang along to each other's celebrations: 2 bdays, 1 anniversary (& 1 date night), though tables were spread far apart enough from each other to still have privacy.

Fettuccine la'"Flamb" Homard

Wow, La Nouvelle Maison delivered an absolutely phenomenal meal and experience from start to finish. The truly great restaurants are able to wow with every bite and this was one of those (rare!) times where not a beat was missed. Bread - warm, fresh baked and delicious Escargot- garlicky perfection Foie Gras - a perfect combination and execution between the brioche healthy portion of foie gras and sweetness from the pineapple Lobster bisque - one of, if not the best we have ever had. Great for dipping with the bread Fettucini Au Homard - the biggest WOW of the night. Tons if lobster in an incredibly flavorful and perfect creamy red sauce Dover sole- well executed light end given all of the other food that was had Service from Todd was excellent. Incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. Have been to top restaurants in ny, vegas, paris, italy etc and based upon this experience i would be just as happy to come back here as i would be to any of those.

Veal chop

Came back here for the first time in 4 years, and LNM is still just as great as it was the first time for us. Aaron was our server and he was wonderful, so knowledgeable, friendly, and very proactive. The food is just as delicious. We tried different menu items, but the stars of the show were the Foie Gras appetizer, the beet and goat cheese salad, and we loved the steak frites. LNM has class and it will definitely be a restaurant we keep on rotation for another special evening out.

Sediment from a glass of wine that came from a "freshly opened bottle".

We hated this place a few years ago but forgot why so we decided to give it another try. I ordered a glass of Echo for $50. It tasted like it's been opened for a week. I told the sommelier kid, who certainly does not deserve the title, that it tasted awful and stale and he said they just opened a fresh bottle. At the bottom of the glass there was enough sediment to build a sand dune. I really did not appreciate the condescending lying. Also the Dover Sole is fake. Tastes nothing like it's supposed to. The lighting is awful. The food is actually beautifully plated but it's so dark you can hardly see it. They need to update their lighting badly. It feels like some sketch bar trying too hard in the 1980's Miami. I was falling asleep with how awfully underlit everything was. You can light the table and still hide your patrons' poor plastic surgery decisions. It's a balance. The food tasted adequately but with all other "mood setters" it left a bad taste in the mouth. Will not be back. They really should take notes from trattoria romana, their sister restaurant next door.

Duck was delicious but 3 guests were served different size duck SMALL, MEDIUM, and LARGE DINING WAS RUSHED!

Our reservation was confirmed and then hostess was unable to be found. Luckily, restaurant was not over booked. We sat down and our waiter, JUAN said "hurry and order" The kitchen may get busy. He took drink order and came back again to take our order. We were rushed and finally ordered after a few minutes of relaxing. The duck was served to three guests in three different sizes. The salad I got was a small wedge with 3 slivers of Parmesan and 3 anchovies. I was embarrassed by the presentation and my guests were in awe. We ordered espresso and cappuccino and again were rushed for payment. I was embarrassed and my guests couldn't believe the service. JUAN SHOULD WORK IN A FAST FOOD RESTAURANT. He is not 5 star and he was not friendly or gracious or professional.

It was like they were made the day before, dry and tasteless. My wife loves French Onion Soup, theirs is caramelized onions and croutons in a broth topped with cheese gratinée , just ok. For entrées I had Duck a l'Orange, partly de-boned roasted half duck served with a zesty a l'orange sauce, garlic-roasted potatoes, and green beans. Also just ok and lacking flavor. It was an additional $7 upcharge. My wife opted for the Mediterranean Branzino , Filet of Branzino seasoned with oregano and a touch of EVOO, served with rice and garlic-sautéed mediterranean vegetables. She wasn't thrilled with it. For dessert, I ordered the Lavender Crème Brûlée, Lavender-infused custard topped with crispy caramelized sugar, another one of my favorites and it was the best thing all night. I had the Chocolate Fondant, soft chocolate cake served warm w/ whipped cream, roasted almonds and a drizzle of berry sauce cake served warm with crème anglaise. She was told it was a lava cake which it wasn't. Sorry but not returning.

Unfortunately, on my most recent visit to Le Val de Loire, the French family were no longer owners,…read morewhich was already disappointing. In addition, the reservation I made for 6pm wasn't necessary as the restaurant was void of diners and mostly stayed that way. The waiter/host was very cordial. The interior of the restaurant remains the same, which is a positive. Our waiter remained attentive and available when needed. As for our meal, it wasn't completely up to par. Two fillet mignons were more rare than ordered; the mashed potatoes had a strange taste, which could have been the seasonings; the pastries were dry and the Tiramisu wasn't Tiramisu. Another disappointment was no employee spoke French, however, the interior remains lovely.
