If you're looking for a top-flight restaurant with outstanding food, service, and old-world ambiance, this is it. From beginning to end, everything was letter perfect. The meal began with an enthusiastic and well-versed waiter, Adam, who became part of our great experience. The bread, fresh from the oven, almost got lost in the conversation, but luckily it rose to the peak of the mountain. Don't say no! I had their French onion soup, and while quite pricey, probably one of the best I've had. Lots of cheese, a strong and delicious broth, just the right amount of croûton. Highly recommend! I also had the special pear salad. The caramelized sugar on the pear was exceptional, but the dressing was beyond! My partner had a veal chop, in her words, the best ever, and she gets her share of veal chops, as it's her favorite food. Our dining companions had Dover sole and chicken français respectively. Both received rave reviews. We closed out with a birthday souffle that was, at the risk of being dramatic, worth dying for, and cappuccino. I didn't care for the flavor of the oil it was fried in. The duck was delicious! The bread service was excellent. The ceasar salad presentation is wonderful. One upsetting issue was an allergy that was confirmed at reservation and at arrival and yet was ignored and placed on the plate. I ate some from my son's plate which didn't have the allergen. We had the opportunity to have dinner at La Nouvelle Maison recently. The whole experience from start to finish was truly memorable. We were greeted very courteously when we arrived and were seated immediately. We shared the Escargots à la Bourguignonne. The presentation was a little unexpected: the snails were served in the traditional escargot dish with each of the snails topped with a little round slice of brioche, presumably to mop up the garlic butter. They were very good. For the main course, I had the roasted rack of lamb and my cousin had the duck à l'orange. Both were delicious. We shared a Grand Marnier soufflé for dessert. Oh my god! The soufflé was out of this world: very airy and the flavor of the orange liqueur came through. Our waiter (Kevin) was attentive and unobtrusive--just how service ought to be at a fine restaurant. Came back here for the first time in 4 years, and LNM is still just as great as it was the first time for us. Aaron was our server and he was wonderful, so knowledgeable, friendly, and very proactive. The food is just as delicious. We tried different menu items, but the stars of the show were the Foie Gras appetizer, the beet and goat cheese salad, and we loved the steak frites. We hated this place a few years ago but forgot why so we decided to give it another try. I ordered a glass of Echo for $50. It tasted like it's been opened for a week. I told the sommelier kid, who certainly does not deserve the title, that it tasted awful and stale and he said they just opened a fresh bottle. At the bottom of the glass there was enough sediment to build a sand dune. I really did not appreciate the condescending lying. Also the Dover Sole is fake. Tastes nothing like it's supposed to. The lighting is awful. The food is actually beautifully plated but it's so dark you can hardly see it. They need to update their lighting badly. It feels like some sketch bar trying too hard in the 1980's Miami. I was falling asleep with how awfully underlit everything was. You can light the table and still hide your patrons' poor plastic surgery decisions. It's a balance. The food tasted adequately but with all other "mood setters" it left a bad taste in the mouth. We used to dine here quite often prior to the pandemic , and last night we returned and if possible the restaurant has gotten better. We had an early reservation which was handled very well by the hostess. We happen to favor a certain area within this beautiful restaurant so we were shown to out table immediately. Mind you all of the dining area are great , so wherever you sit it's good. Our server namely " Lady" introduced herself , took out drink orders and it was the beginning of a wonderful meal and evening. A glass of a sparkling wine and a gin martini were delicious. Followed by their iceberg wedge salad , escargot and Bronzino all of which were prepared with care and delicious. Dinner was followed by a chocolate soufflé ( ordered at the beginning of dinner) which was wonderful. Kudos to "Lady" as she was very attentive without watching over our shoulder which is an art practiced by few. As far as fine dining in Boca goes, La Nouvelle Maison (LNM) goes beyond in terms of service, presentation, and taste. My fiancée and I have eaten multiple Michelin starred meals all over the country and abroad, and I have to say that LNM stands out as one of my favorite meals ever. Wine selection was expansive if not a bit on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. Freshly baked epee bread brought me to a place that bread usually cannot take me to in south Florida. The summer salad we shared was fresh and a great mix of sweet and sour. I had to try the French onion soup which tasted like essence of holiday brisket. Our entrees (pictured) were as lovely in taste as they were in presentation. My lamb was cooked perfectly and my fiancée'a duck was not rubbery or fatty as duck can become. Seasonings and preparations were true to French gastronomy as I could even taste the care devoted to the buttered, whipped potatoes. Soufflé (chocolate) capped off my fiancée's birthday meal and it was as divine and airy as it looked. Please order one if you come here. Aside from the food, valet service is complementary, the restaurant is well-decorated and comfortably spaced, and there is an interesting middle-age+ bar scene from what we could tell. Service (Juan) was fantastic - excellently paced with no rush, attentive when needed, absent when not. Support staff were also friendly and professional. Fun fact - the table across from us was celebrating a 90th birthday and poured us a glass of port from 1931. Probably one of the coolest things to happen to me at a restaurant. A delicious meal, well worth the expense and for which the restaurant deserves 4 or 5 stars - but which was ruined for me, however, by an ill-advised managerial profit per minute decision. The food was, in a word, wonderful. There were four of us there for dinner - my wife and I with friends visiting from Los Angeles. Our reservation was on the early side so we were seated on time and the setting was warm and friendly. Our server was helpful and, with his recommendations we ordered a variety of different dishes with wine followed by deserts and drinks. While we were eating the restaurant began to get very busy but the service stayed attentive and friendly. Here, HOWEVER, came the big flaw that will most likely keep me from ever returning. After we had finished our deserts and drinks it suddenly became very clear that they wanted us to vacate our table so they could seat a new set of diners. Perhaps that made sense to their manager BUT after we've spent many hundreds of dollars on a meal I do not appreciate being hustled out simply because my then dollar spend per minute has begun to decrease. So, definitely go here for a fantastic meal which is well worth the high cost. I made reservations for a Friday night to celebrate a friend's birthday. On the reservation I made note of this... Once at the restaurant, and while I was being seated the server immediately asked me who the birthday person was so that they could know when bringing the dessert out and to wish the right person a Happy Birthday. I thought that was really nice! I got menus but they allowed time for the entire party to arrive before ordering anything. Server sent out the sommelier to recommend wines according to what we usually like and told us the specials of the day. While we decided what to order, they brought out a fresh/ homemade French baguette, with this amazing homemade butter. As an appetizer we got the 5 cheese board. This came with more of that delicious bread, cut in slices, with assorted cheeses, jam and dried fruit compote. For my main course, I kept reading how amazing the Lobster Fettuccine was so I just had to order it. This is a whole Maine lobster (deshelled), with cognac cream sauce. And the reviews were 100% correct! This is a must!!! Excellent flavor, perfect amount of sauce without being overwhelming and still allowing you to taste the flavor of the fresh lobster. I also tried my friend's shrimp risotto, and it was excellent too. We were all very happy with our meals. For dessert, we got the chocolate soufflé, This you have to order with dinner as it takes a bit to make. Make sure you order it, and to leave room for it. This was like a cloud of chocolate. So light in texture but rich in flavor. And, they wrote "Happy Birthday", added a candle and put it in front of the birthday girl. For the rest of details on the restaurant, I can say we were very impressed with these as well. Complimentary valet parking, they bring a coat/ handbag rack to your table so nothing is on the floor or on the table, hostesses were very welcoming and friendly, and our servers were very attentive and on point. Went to celebrate our anniversary and overall had a very nice experience. Started with some muscles, which were very good and octopus carpaccio which was excellent. For dinner I had the chili and Seabass, which was prepared beautiful and was very tasty. My wife had the veal Milanese, which she did not like too much it was pounded so thin that you really only tasted the breading. Others at the table had short rib which was delicious and duckling, which was equally good. One in our party had steak, which was kind of tough, but then again this is not a steakhouse so we will not hold that against them. Dessert we had soufflés which were quite large and very tasty and apple tart, which was very good. Service was good, I probably would've expected a little better considering the type of restaurant and price point, but overall it was very good and attentive. One of the most delightful French meals I've had in South Florida. Came here the evening before Valentine's Day during COVID times but still very safe. All tables were spread apart and staff all wear masks. The hostesses were friendly and our server was knowledgeable of the menu and nightly specials. We already studied the menu before we went there and were super excited to try everything but we were still enticed by one of the specials and changed one of our decisions. We started out with freshly baked French baguette with a soft slab of butter then moved on to steak tartare with caviar and anchovies. The steak was so tender and the quail egg oozed out perfectly. Get it with caviar, it's worth it. It adds a nice savory burst of flavor. Make sure you get a bit of everything on the plate to top the bread with. Next came the escargot in garlic butter. They actual escargot was clean and cooked well but I do admit this style of breading soaks uoo to much of the butter. Each bite of bread was like squeezing a sponge worth of butter, a little too overwhelming. But dipping pieces of baguette into the leftover garlic butter is amazing. For entree, I had the lobster fettuccine was so amazing with a whole Maine Lobster tender and juicy. The tomato cream sauce was rich and tangy. The portion was huge! The fettucine noodles are very al dente. My fiancé had the scallops with truffle risotto and artichoke hearts. It was very rich but the citrus burst from the artichokes cuts through the richness. The scallops were buttery soft and perfect. We ended dinner with a banana foster soufflé and it was wonderful. **Avoid this place at all costs if you're considering sitting outside!** The "outdoor seating" is a joke--just three measly tables crammed by the side of a busy road. You're practically eating in a parking lot, dodging car fumes with every bite. We made the mistake of reserving outside, not realizing we'd be dining on a highway. The best French place I've ever been to, exceptional service and food that you can't wait to have again. For starters, the escargot are classically prepared with nice toasted bread and great to share. Foie gras is seared nicely, the french toast and pineapple paired with it lifts it up and gives it a sweet and tangy flavor. Seared scallops are cooked perfectly, the fennel crust on top tastes delicious with it. Baby iceberg roquefort salad is paired nicely with some crispy prosciutto and the dressing is balanced nicely. For entrees, I've always went with the rack of lamb, it's cooked perfectly, the crust on the lamb tastes delicious, pommes puree is rich and creamy, and I love roasted garlic and there was plenty of that with it. I've also enjoyed the lobster fettuccine, lobster is cooked well; good amount of it mixed in and the sauce tastes delicious. Desserts include a delicious chocolate souffle, but I really love the banana souffle even more; super light and the sauce served with it is incredible; could probably just drink the sauce on its own. First off, I am giving this 4 stars, but it is really a 4.5 +/- a tad stars given the quality of the food, service and overall atmosphere. This restaurant is not cheap, but I hate when people mark down star ratings for price of food or an issue with valet. IMHO, they are separate things. So, know where you are going and what to expect. You're likely going to pay $75/pp on the low end without alcohol and $125-$200+/pp with 1-2 drinks pp (with tip) depending on how high end you go. My wife and I came out on a Friday night for a 7:30 PM reservation on Fri. 2/24/23. Which, is high season. Therefore, the better restaurants in Boca are going to be busy. We were seated a lot a table for two in the back left area near Palmetto Park Place (near the road). That area seems to be a little louder given that it is relatively narrow and all hard surfaces. All good though if you don't mind that. Our waiter Kevin was very good..."shout out Kev"! He was very attentive, knew the menu and restaurant well. Nando was attentive filling our water and also very nice. Appetizers: We both ordered the Pear Salad Special (Bibb lettuce, candied walnuts, with a nice light dressing and the holy grail of the salad...the caramelized pear with a nice soft and creamy round piece of Brie cheese on top). This was a sensual salad that could have suited as a dessert for people that much prefer savory with a touch of sweet. Yes, the caramelized pear was that good! Entrees: My wife ordered the Chicken Francaise. Which, was $38, a French version of course with some veggies that consisted of haricot verts that were very tasty. We both prefer a good or better rendition of the Italian version! This version was still a good dish though. I ordered the Lobster Thermidor. Which, was $59 & is only served on Fridays. It consisted of a 1.5 lb lobster that was cut up, mixed with cheese, mushrooms and light breadcrumbs and put back into the filleted open lobster shell. This entree was on the more "Rich" side though given the cheese, etc. Therefore, if you tend to get full quickly with foods that are "Rich", you may want to share this plate!?!? We each split the entrees in order to fulfill our indecisive minds for the evening and several entrees looked good. Also, it was a funky version of "surf & turf" and how could one go wrong with that. Unless you have a shellfish allergy of course! I do have to say that they were both quite good, and while they didn't "blow our socks off", probably worth it once in a while Drinks: I abstained from alcohol for the evening, but my wife wanted a glass of wine with dinner and chose a glass of the Red Bordeaux Blend. Let me say, this wine went perfect with our dessert...see below Dessert: Well, we really didn't care too much regarding being healthy tonight. After all, you're at a French Restaurant and not the place to be super strict. Upon our waiter Kevin's recommendation, we went with the Chocolate Soufflé. Well, it looked massive while all swollen in the large ramekin. Especially when Kevin pushed the fresh chocolate down into the soufflé. We were a party of 8 very close friends we decided to go here. The food was wonderful. Everything served was delicious, and beautifully presented. The restaurant is beautiful and warm atmosphere. Unfortunately it ended there. Our server was awful. From the time he took the water order and cocktails to dessert. He didn't know his menu and had to look at his notebook. When the food showed up it was auctioned off at the table. They had know idea who ordered what. That's pretty pathetic!! At a cost of 150.00 plus per person I find that disgraceful. I can't blame the entire restaurant for that but management needs to know. I will consider a possible return but without a doubt request this server not take care of us. read more

An excellent classic French restaurant perfect for a special occasion. We thoroughly enjoyed all of our appetizers and entrees. My wife had French onion soup to start, which she enjoyed. I started with sea scallops encrusted with fennel. Very unique taste and cooked perfectly. Would order again (if there weren't so many other excellent sounding appetizer choices). For entrees, my wife had the lamb chops. Perfectly cooked medium rare and nice large pieces of meat. I had the risotto with shrimp and crab. This was the standout dish for me - really creamy and high quality seafood. Somehow through, the star of the dish was the tomatoes - the burst of flavor when you bite in was incredible. My only criticism of the dish was two tomatoes wasn't enough! The dessert course is the only reason preventing a five star review / experience. The chocolate soufflé was serviceable, but we both agreed that we've had much better versions (for cheaper). Somehow though, where the restaurant really fell down was on the simplest item - the coffee. They bring a personal French press pot, but it was remarkably week. Seriously like brown colored water. I asked for a another thinking that there was just an issue with the first one I got, but the second was essentially the same. I know, it's not the biggest issue, but I usually really look forward to a nice cup of coffee with dessert after a nice meal like this - and this was a disappointment. My wife very much liked her cappuccino, so would definitely recommend going with that instead of the regular coffee. Excellent experience! We had a fabulous date night here on a recent Monday evening. Online reservations were easy via Open Table and complimentary valet parking upon arrival added a touch of class. We knew what we wanted to eat before we got there: steak tartare with caviar, rack of lamb, scallops and bananas foster souffle for dessert. We ended up getting 2 appetizers because everything sounded so delicious, and I went with the scallop special (truffle risotto) instead of the regular menu option. I am a foodie and all my friends know it well and come to me for advice on food! This was one of my BEST experiences ever at a restaurant. Started from the watm welcome from the greeter to the most polite host we had at the table. Adam our host was so polite, professional, funny and all his recommendations were spot on! Started the night with a couple of dirty martinis with olives and bluecheese, which was so creamy and bursting with flavor. Then had the Octopus Carppaccio which was great. We thought nothing can top that but it just kept better and better. Next we had the beef tartar with caviar in the middle. This was drops of heaven in your mouth. After feeling this was gonna be the highlight of the night, then came the Foie Gras!!! Cannot miss it even if you just order that one and leave. Epic feeling in your mouth tingling all your taste buds! Next came the Lamb chops with the pistachio truffle herb crust (enough said)! Lamb was so flavorable, juicy and tender. Mashed potatoes were made with LOVE and you can feel it! Ended with one of the best Creme Brule you can ever get!! Very highly recommended even though it's a bit pricy but sooooo wirth it on a special occasion! read more
