Stopped in for a quick sandwich for dinner. Restaurant is clean, excellent parking, menu is vast. Took the recommendation and ordered the new Brisket and hot honey sandwich for 9.95. Protein and cheese was delicious. Sandwich was small, actually needed to stop at a restaurant on my way home from Zupas after for a second small meal. However, I will reinforce the Sammy was delish, just a smaller portion. Staff was nice, they looked like they had a busy day. This is a walk up and order a quick sandwich location, not a server based restaurant. The reason why I mention, the many options for tips were spinned at me on a tablet, as if it is a server based restaurant. I will be mentioning this in all future reviews so folks are aware. My husband and I have eaten at several Zupas locations throughout the valley and this is our least favorite location. Everyone is relatively friendly and helpful, but service is slower than standard, food doesn't seem as fresh and they are always out of chip options. We were greeted with a very friendly smile and eager service. The line from ordering to checking out did go rather slowly. Got to the cashier and found out they only had salt & vinegar chips (hubby only likes regular flavors), so he had to skip a side. Loved the soda options, though several of the drink "upgrades" were out of stock or empty. Trash bin was overflowing with plates, bowls and trash right next to the drinking station which was a tad off-putting. There were plenty of table options, though some still had trash on them. We picked a table in the corner to have a little privacy and chit-chat over dinner. Unfortunately for us, after a few minutes of sanctuary, a manager took an employee to the table next to us to discuss the employee's possibility of leaving at high volume. It made us very uncomfortable for the employee and made it nearly impossible to chat. That aside, my Strawberry Harvest salad was underdressed, the apples were turning brown and the chicken was spongy. My pesto chicken sandwich was not as flavorful as I typically have, though the bread tasted fresh. My husband was happy with his sandwich, especially since they did his custom order correctly. The rolls and chocolate covered strawberries were deliciously plump and juicy. We still love Cafe Zupas, just don't love this location. read more

Avocados on sandwiches were hard (not edible) unless you like crunchy fruit. The cashier must be new and we had to repeat the order numerous times and still couldn't remember what we got. They were very helpful with giving me a new soup but after I had already left I realized there was meat on my vegetarian sandwich. In this world right now is so much hate. I thought I would share something that still is happening if you are nice and caring. My friend Salle and I stopped in Zupas on Eagle for lunch today. We were ordering and talking to the staff members. When we went to pay, Natalie and Rebekah the managers told us lunch was on them. We were shocked and so grateful, not so much as free, but the kindness they shared. They had said a man had come in, I guess not so nice to them and they wanted to combat that feeling and share the love for others. What do you think people?? Came in for lunch today. This place was a chaotic mess and you can tell by the staff that they were not in control. They need to have two teams working on in person orders and online orders. When it's all left to one set of staff members, you have a ton of people waiting to order and in addition to people waiting for their online orders. They were all over the place. I was given a 5 dollar off coupon from Yelp for checking in. On my phone you can clearly see what the coupon said. Non of them would honor it. The manger was completely useless and clueless. The kid that ran the register didn't know any better either. So, I wasted a coupon for nothing. Food was food. It's it really enjoyable after dealing with an incompetent group of people? We were told to "move along" when our food was being made multiple times to "keep the line moving" - there was very little line & we come here to watch our food being made! Didn't matter... we were shamed into moving along. Then when they shorted us a roll & strawberry and we asked for them we were told "I already put them in your plate" they gave us 2 for 3 full meals. We had to argue to get another free roll?!? Then the straw was we put soda in the water cups and they asked us to pay $6. I understand that you wanted us to pay for the soda, but you didn't need to stand and announce it to the entire half a restaurant that we needed to come pay because we broke the rules like we were misbehaving toddlers. $48 for 3 lunches & harassment the whole way. We don't go here often but the service tonight was terrible. Definitely not coming back. First off an employee that was in the middle of making a sandwich reached down his back with the gloves he's using to make the sandwich. Itches his back and with the same gloves continues to make the sandwich. Later the same person took trash out with those same gloves. I'll be honest I'm not sure if he changed his gloves in the back but highly unlikely. Also everyone was just standing around when the trash was full. We just had to leave it on the counter. I am pregnant, and I had the pleasure of Ryan and Rebekah taking good care of me. Pregnant women shouldn't have Deli meats. So I asked Ryan how long they toasted their sandwiches for. I told him I asked because I pregnant. He talked with Rebekah how to best help me. She said they would heat my meat AND then the sandwich! I was so happy with how thoughtful and sweet they were. Stopped in recently and glad we did! It's been several years since I've been back to the Mountain West and I wanted to try some of my old haunts again. Ordering food is fairly simple process and with a few exceptions it is made in front of you and ready by the time you get to the cash register. Sandwiches can take a bit longer due to grill time. The restaurant wasn't terribly busy the evening my wife, in-laws and I went and so we were seated in a matter of minutes with our food. I got a Cuban sandwich and then a BBQ chicken salad and both were excellent! Reason for the 4-stars was that the restaurant itself wasn't particularly clean and the children's high chairs were filthy. Glad we always bring wipes. read more
