First time at this restaurant and it was ok. The Golden Curry bowl is what I got and it was... interesting. It is a big serving. The arugula was more over powering than id like. The rolls weres soft and good. The Golden Curry is pretty good. I also got the bacon grilled cheese. It came with apples and strawberry jam on it which I wasn't expecting. I did remove the apples, but other than that it was decent. The staff were nice and quickly made my order. I probably wouldnt visit this restaurant again. It's not my style. Overall, wasn't bad. We have enjoyed eating at Zupas for years. The staff at this location tonight was disorganized and unprofessional. Several customers waited a very long time for their orders. Our food was forgotten and then re-made. We did eventually get our order and the food was on par with what we have come to expect, but overall the experience was lacking. My family and I have been going to Cafe Zupas since at least 2016. It's been a family favorite and we appreciate the healthy options especially when in a hurry/short on time. The new app has been great and the upgrades tackle everything I previous had (silent) complaints about. I appreciate that we now have rewards, something I've wished Zupas had because we eat there 1-2 sometimes even 3 days per week. I appreciate that there are points earned, discounts occasionally, and I have had 2 days where my order wasn't right and customer service was so quick to help. Having my orders saved helps a ton AND I appreciate i don't have to enter my vehicle information every time now. We usually do takeout, but eating inside is great too. No complaints. we went in for soup- we love the chicken tortilla and I'm gluten free so options are limited. it was thick and the bottom of the barrel--- even looked burned to the bottom. I asked for fresh soup not thick old soup.... she refused and walked away.... refusing to give us some fresh soup for $9 a cup I expect more.... this place sucks and I'll NEVER give them my business again.... you can get this same soup but better in two huge jugs for $10 at Costco! service was ridiculous and to think of all the times we have been and the tips we have left?? screw you guys! read more

I passed by this place countless times and finally stopped in to give it a try. Fresh salads and sandwiches made to order, and a variety of soups and desserts, all quickly made, delicious, and affordable! I was really impressed by the freshness of the ingredients that went in my Avocado Chicken Chop and enjoyed every bite of my salad. I opted for the Thai basil vinaigrette instead of the ranch or blue cheese dressing (I hate blue cheese) and it was delicious! The Thai basil vinaigrette had a very refreshing taste to it--absolutely loved it! The Turkey Avocado Club was great as well! The ciabatta was fresh, and there was a generous amount of turkey and avocado. The Lobster Bisque was also good. It was slightly on the salty side, but nicely flavored. Not too bad if you dip the roll in it. The Strawberries & Cream Crème Brûlée was interesting. I would say it looked better than it tasted. Definitely tasted nothing like a crème brûlée, but was more like a yogurt-type dessert. It wasn't bad, just not what I had expected. The order also came with 2 complimentary chocolate dipped strawberries, which was a sweet treat! Overall I liked the concept of this restaurant and value its fresh ingredients. It is an amazing treat to watch these kids hustle. Every time we come in the door. It feels like that they are short staffed but their effort makes up for any lack of bodies they might have. Lily was running the helm today, and it was inspiring to watch her fill orders and provide training on the fly. She never stopped moving. Chelsey and Justin were others who stood out. These kids know how to work hard. We come to Zupas often and love this location. My go-to's are always the Cobb Salad and a lobster/cauliflower bisque mix. We have also enjoyed the barbecue chicken salad. They occasionally bring in a specialty sandwich that makes us have to deviate from our regular routine. read more

I've reviewed a Cafe' Zupas before (The District) and I'm afraid it comes across that I don't like the place. This is actually untrue. I like the place I really do. My wife and I went yesterday my wife had a salad and I had one of the protein bowls. In the past I've ordered theirs soups. See! I do like those food. The soups are fantastic, my favorite being the red pepper lobster bisque. But let's talk about yesterday. I have a comment and a question. Comment: The store is the noisiest place I've ever eaten. The music is loud (controllable), the customer noise is loud (uncontrollably), the kitchen noise is unbearable. Whatever was making the "blender" noise from the back made eating in the store miserable. Not sure what it was but seriously environment matters. Picked up lunch today, hadn't been here in a while. Our salads didn't disappoint. I really enjoy the strawberry harvest salad and the Turkey cranberry Brie panini. I didn't care for my soup. I am fine with Zupas!!! They are so weak on their salad toppings. Paying extra for meat and getting literally 5 cubes is ridiculous. Every time I come in here (pretty often) the first thing the tell me to do is pull out my phone and scan a QR code to get an app. I don't expect to be recognized everywhere I go (even without masks prior to this) but I just walked all the way from the parking lot (the location of this Zupas is in a terrible layout btw) so why would do so if I had wanted to download the app an to order from my car? I know that is kind of nit-picky, but all other food places I go to that have a QR code for an app they have available, do not talk about it anywhere near as much as this particular shift manager does. Just let your advertising do it for you and maybe focus on getting my order take. Care of swiftly. Which brings me to my true issue here in the photos. I mean come on, they usually wipe the bowl for any drips of soup, but this time didn't even pick up the towel. Had such a pleasant time at zupas the other day. The food was amazing I had a honey bacon club with a Cobb Salad. Everything was great, I do have one complaint tho and that would be Shon. I felt like the entire time he was guiding me down the line he was trying to get more money out of me. I didn't want the zupas app and he kept telling me about it even after I said "no thanks" I felt like a money bank to him and not a customer. All the other employees working were really genuine and the conversations felt real specifically with a gal whose name I don't remember but it started with a K and such pretty hair. read more

I have always been a big fan of Zuppas, but our meal tonight for 4 cost $60 and was really bad. Lobster bisque was lumpy. Turkey cranberry sandwich was dry, processed meat and had six, brown, wilted microgreens and a thin slice of the skin of a tomato. Ate at the Riverton Zupas yesterday. We both had the Try 2 Combos with soup and salad. We paid $12.99 each for them, but they charged us extra for the two salads since they contained steak (which was a tiny amount). So basically we paid $12.99 for the bowls of soup and extra for the salads ($1.99 and $2.99). I threw away half of my salad. We would have not ordered these salads if we had known there was an extra charge! Their menu isn't really big enough for older people to read and we didn't see that there was an extra charge. I'm shocked this place doesn't have better reviews. Never heard of a Zupas before (from Cali) - I was very pleasantly surprised!! I don't normally review chains because what the hell is the point, but this place was good enough to warrant an exception. VERY reasonable prices - my boyfriend and I ate VERY heartily for $28. High school kids staffing the place but they were sweet. This place is a Panera on steroids and much better in my opinion. The pick two thingy is super reasonably priced, and if you get a sandwich and a protein bowl, it is almost too much food. The crab sandwich was AMAZING, the southwest protein bowl was good and very fresh (but tbh hard to live up to that freakin sandwich). The roll that comes with it is fresh and delicious. The brownie-caramel-fuck-me-up or whatever it's called was dangerously good. I also liked their blackberry basil tea concoction which the boyfriend did not like because he hates basil, because he is abnormal. Just got takeout from this location, and the Wisconsin Cauliflower was straight water. I noticed when she scooped it that it was running low and she struggled to get enough. Apparently I just got the bottom of the pot. Disappointed that rather than making sure the customer gets their best, they wanted to save money? Or maybe it was just laziness? Been to this location twice now. Never had a good experience. Put in an online order at 6:47. Store isn't busy, waited over an hour for food. Other customers came and went with their meals. On phone while waiting lady said they make them in order they get them. Asked people in car next to us when they ordered, they said 5 minutes ago. They got their food 30 minutes before us. I guess if you have the time and don't mind.... employees were really nice and I'm sure the food will be great (still waiting in line). But I would never come back.
