Do NOT underestimate this hotel just because it's a smaller location! For starters, the room had a refrigerator, microwave AND a closet with plenty of space to hang your clothes. Honestly, that's wild because some much more expensive hotels don't even offer all of that. Let's talk about the staff because everyone was SO friendly. From the GM, Cory, to the front desk, concierge, and security team, everyone was welcoming and helpful. You can really tell when a hotel has a good team, and this one does. Everything was also really clean, from the rooms to the lobby and even the back areas. And FREE PARKING?! That's always a win in my book. They're open 24/7 too, so honestly, what's not to love? But the biggest selling point for me, besides the views, was THE FOOD! I absolutely loved the chicken wings, steak fries, and burger. Everything was delicious. And breakfast? Also SO good ... and surprisingly affordable! Overall, this hotel really exceeded my expectations. My fiancé and I were here for a work trip, and I just have to say, we were blown away! Don't let the pictures of the exterior on the internet fool you. This place is much bigger than we imagined and has so much character. First off, everyone here is incredibly friendly and welcoming. They genuinely go out of their way to make sure you're happy and comfortable. The lobby, bathrooms, restaurant, & hotel rooms were all very clean. The beds were super comfortable, & the water pressure was AMAZING! And let's not forget about the views! Sunrise? Sunset? 10/10! But honestly, the best part of our trip was the FOOD! Breakfast was crazy delicious, & you get SO much for $12-$16?! You definitely don't get that in LA! We actually had breakfast, lunch, AND dinner here, and everything was immaculate. I highly recommend the chicken wings with a side of ranch. We had the mango habanero wings, and I seriously wanted to order a few more to take home! Came in mid week for cocktails and slots. AC was nice and cold on this 100* day and felt great. The first this you notice is the cigarette smoke inside, so beware . The casino is small inside and kept pretty clean . Restrooms were very clean as well. Bartender service was quick and friendly. I've been coming to this casino already for a year and I live in Oxnard so for me to come to this specific casino while I have a bunch of other options should say something I think it's a terrible business idea that they got rid of the tables. Hot seats are cool; a host will come to you if you are chosen and tell you Won the Hot Seat ($250-$500 ) in free play. The check-in at the hotel is an easy process and the team members working behind the desk are always friendly and professional. The restaurant had 5 Star service in my opinion! The menu has selection that hit the spot. If you play with your card and ask in a nice way you can get a Room on the 4th floor. All the snacks are free. Also when you check in sometimes they have free drinks if you are on the concierge floor. So play with your card it's worth it and you don't have to spend hundreds of dollars to achieve a high status just show consistency. This is a nice small casino in anza. It's a scenicdrive to get to. I decided to stay a night there becaus I got a hotel offer fo being a player club member. The room was nice and clean. It has a flat scr en TV, safe, complimentary coffee and water. They even have a mini fridge. They offer late check out if you ask. The casino is small but a goodi mix of slots. It's at the top of its classification for 3star hotel. The room was clean, but they do not offer daily cleaning unless requested. The amenities were very nicenice matresses and linens. The casino was kinda nasty, crawling with local trash, thugs and some underage kids for good measure. The bartender on saturday night was SLOW and dull. Friday daytime lady very sharp. We just returned from our maybe 6th /7th stay . We love it. The rooms are clean, we make use of all the amenities. Keureg coffee machine, microwave and fridge. T.V. offers a variety of channels. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioners. The concegiere rooms offer free drinks and snacks in there rooms plus free happy hour from 4 to 7. Staff is always nice and very helpful. We love the food at their only restaurant. Our Points add up so quickly, I don't think we've ever paid for a meal there, always comped. And we always get comped free rooms. This trip not only did we get two nights free in thee concegeire rooms but were treated to a delicious 3 course Italian meal . Every thing was perfect as always. I've visited almost every casino in SoCal except for this one, until. Why? Because it's truly in the middle of nowhere. I drove from Palm Spring on the 74, one of the curviest roads I've even been on, and mostly uphill. I didn't realize I would be heading up to an elevation of over 4200 feet. The casino itself sits at 3,642 feet, so it's not a fun drive. Heading back toward Temecula isn't as bad, so if you're going to visit, I suggest coming from that direction. With that, it's a fun little casino! By little, I mean it's probably the smallest in the region, but they had many of the newer machines, some I didn't even see in the Palm Springs casinos. They had a few table games which a lot of casinos are getting rid of so that made my happy. I'm a moderate gambler so betting $5 on a slot machine for a few hours doesn't bother me. Therefore, the $10 free play introductory players club offer was a little underwhelming. I can blow through that in about 10 seconds. Some initial food comps would be nice as well considering the drive as my driver's license clearly shows I'm not local, but that's what they've decided to offer so I'll take what I can get. I didn't stay long because I literally passing through, but I wish I could have. I had fun while I was there. Will I visit again? Maybe, but I would consider staying overnight to explore the area a little more. read more

The room I stayed was completely updated, nice and clean. it has microwave, mini fridge, Kerug coffee machine, LG TV, a safe, and the BEST thing I found in the room was........light stand lamp with multiple USB plugs so you can charge your electronic devices!!!!! Oh and they have motorized window drape/curtain, so you could open and close them with the touch of the buttons, which is located on the wall right when you walk in the room. They also have the one and only restaurant in the casino, the Robinwood, which is located on the right side when you walk in from the main entrance. They allowed inside dinning with tables spaced out to practice social distancing, staffs are all wearing masks. Their food are amazing!! I tried their burger, shrimp scampi and their Pozole, all of them were delicious. The main casino floor, although not big, but they have plenty of slot machines to play with, plus 2 blackjack tables in the middle. AND they have Self Serve coffee and soda section where you can get your drink on WHENEVER you like!!! FOR FREE!!!! Now that's a plus!!! The reason I give it a 4 stars was they messed up my online reservation, I was supposed to get a 2 bed room but they can only give me a 1 bed room. Where do I begin.. so I have been sick for a week our bathroom is getting remodeled all I wanted was to take a nice hot bath.. anyways my husband and I decided cahuilla we like to gamble and it seemed reasonable distance and price ..so when I called to book the room I was told 66.00 flat rate with his card we got a lil discount ok great I requested a bath tub that's the whole reason for the room. Ok it was 35.00 more for the upgrade ok fine .. to hold the room it was 108. And some change ok fine .. we get there its now 180 dollars plus what we already put in.. that was wrong ok so they fixed that .. they gave us a room on the 4th fl.. ok prefect ..we get up there no bathtub .. I called stated what happen so they have us go down again..btw I'm still sick as he'll and just want to lay down and have that bath.. so they reassigned us another room ok after they messed up put us right next to them on the 2nd floor handicapp room downgraded us with a very small bathtub .. whatever.. so we get in the room horrible view on propane tanks and metal containers.. so I shut the blinds run my bath and plug the drain water is not holding so I open the plug hair is all in the drain so I had to put a wash cloth so the water wouldn't drain .. I couldn't fit in the barely im not a big girl... I get out and I noticed and clearly stained towel hanging the shampoo dispensers not working at attention I rand out of conditioner.. soap dispenser was falling off the wall it was completely a joke and a downgrade definitely...so we go and eat ..wow food served cold I had shrimp Alfredo the only thing that was warm was the shrimp ..I was super disappointed in this stay we go there alot and gamble never stayed I needed to get away I might as well of stayed at a motel 6.. I should if paid a little more and stayed in my area and got better service clean towels and a better bathtub .that was my whole visit was to take a nice relaxing hot bath .. I love this casino, we go once or twice per week. The staff are amazing people, we always have a great time. I am so incredibly grateful first and foremost the security staff that assisted in saving my life, I had a stroke the right after walking in the first in September of this year. They were able to get me medical assistance and I was airlifted to a great hospital. Byron provides excellent service, he is so kind and helpful. Jesus from V.I.P. Services always goes above and beyond when we need his services. I am still learning the staff names and they are all great, and make playing there fun. This is a nice stop coming through hwy 79. The restaurant is a little small but has a good burger. The servers are friendly and patient, as were other staff we encountered. Has a simple bar area with some TVs which is good enough to grab a drink and watch a game. The hotel rooms are nice and reasonably priced. Up date: gave them another chance since I live close by and I like to support business in our community. (I still don't bother with the restaurant any more). I stopped in today to throw away a little money (lol) and try their new car wash on the way out. I Popped for the top wash Ultimate wash I think they called it at $14.00. First of all the car wash began by spraying foam on the vehicle, it did not do a pre wash to take off the dirt/dust. It went straight to grinding the dirt in with the brushes. I could not pull out it may have damaged the car wash and my car further. It did a slight rinse after this process. I pulled out after and besides hundreds of little scratches all over the clear coat ( which may buff out next waxing I hope ) it was still dirty but now had the dirt spread out and was just as dirty as when I pulled in. So I go in to notify them, and at the very least get a refund on the wash maybe a credit for another wash when fixed would also have been acceptable to me, an assurance the faulty car wash would be inspected. It's a 6 year old car, I did not even get to explain what I wanted, or expected from them. They immediately became hostile and adversarial before I even stated what I expected the outcome to be i.e. they went on the attack " started telling me that " we have a sign that says we are not responsible " I quietly pointed out that does not apply to known malfunctioning or faulty equipment under their control. The manager rolled her eyes and had a security guard go out with her to look at the vehicle as if I was a threat, I am in my 60s with severe arthritis, a child could knock me down. I was calm and not upset, (stuff happens) so I was kind of taken aback at this immediate hostility on their part. Then she wants me to fill out a statement for an investigation, after already waiting for 15 minutes just to speak to her, ( she was busy stocking a cooler). A statement and an investigation for $14.00? Unbelievably pathetic. certainly not worth my time. The defective Automatic car wash bay should have been closed off immediately, that was obviously not a concern that other customers vehicles could be damaged as well, while she stocked a cooler. ( again the immediate response was " we have a sign saying we are not responsible" . The greed and hostility shown me was unbelievable over a lousy $14.00 car wash. When I got end of year totals for what myself and my wife threw away gambling in their casino last year between us was around $11,000.00 we have been gambling there for over a decade ( since they were just in a tent) now we are not high rollers by any means but several hundred a week. So over a $14.00 car wash they lost a long time customer. Answer from them should have been sorry about the issue yes it's still here's your $14.00 back, we will take that car wash bay out of service until it's inspected. But NO they just are not that smart, they wanted to start a fight over it, using a very large and imposing young man that was obviously there to intimidate me. A wonderful little surprise. Now, it is way out there , and it's amazing that it is ! I have been here from blizzard to 110 degree middays .. You have to set your expectations correctly for this to be meaningful. It is a small Casino and half sized Hotel . Yet they manage a nice small restaurant, and a big gas station convenience store. The Casino is fair .. well I mean .. it's nice :) The local people are normally very pleasant and professional. The ones here are great . Good attitudes. Stop in even just to get gas . I've tasted excellence before but the Sioux Chef there, I believe his name is Junior was cooking up some straight FIRE. I started my feast with a beautiful romaine heart salad drizzled with the tasty house dressing and freshly baked garlic butter croutons before slow dancing into my next two entrees.. the Korean fried chicken steak dish served with mashed potatoes topped with some kind of life changing house gravy and the special of the day which was Gumbo. They should've named it heavens gumbo on account it tastes like you died and went straight there to join your great Gramma. Finally made the drive to this place up in Anza. First of all, the drive up is very scenic and much different then the rest of Southern California. The property is fairly new. It was clean and well maintained. Hotel room was very nice. Mini fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. Bathroom was a good size with very nice walk in shower, no tub. The casino is small, but has all of the newest slots, and $5 black jack table. The downside of this place to me, they have one bar and one restaurant. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and it was good and reasonably priced. But if I was to stay there for multiple nights, I would not want to eat all of my meals there, and the city of Anza doesn't have much other then a Mexican restaurant and a Dairy Queen. I started going to this casino about 2 1/2 months ago. Because it is a bit out of the way I have stayed at their hotel the times I have gone. The hotel reminds of a Comfort Inn. The front desk ladies have always been very welcoming and display great customer service. The one and only restaurant is a step above a Denny's, so if you like Denny's you will like their restaurant. The bar could consider bringing down the price of their drinks a little. And the casino itself is small compared to most of the casinos in southern California. I don't mind the casino being small because I go to just relax not roam around. So why the 1 star review? I checked in yesterday and at 2 AM I was woken by a pain on my arm. I turn on the light go look in the mirror and see a bunch of red welts and I go look on the bed and see that I smashed something in the bed. Since I couldn't tell what is was I figured it was a spider because there was nothing else. I went back to sleep. I woke up at 4 AM with pain on my right eye and go to the mirror and see that a small welt is beginning to appear on my eyelid. I moved all of the pillows and find 4 fully grown bed bugs, I killed 3 of them and couldn't tell where the 4th fell. There were most likely many more because I took my time moving the bedding around. I jump in the shower hoping the swelling and pain will go down...it didn't. By 5 AM I am packing my things and heading to the front desk to check out because I sure as hell was not getting back in that bed. I told the lady at the front desk what happened and even showed her a picture of one of the bed bugs. She took a couple of pictures of my arm and eye to send it to the manager. I left. By 10 AM my right eye was swollen shut and painful. My right arm and right side now have a dozen painful, very red welts ranging from the size of a quarter to a silver dollar. I began to develop a fever and feel poorly so I go to urgent care where I receive painful shots of penicillin and steroids. It is now past midnight and I'm still in pain and freaking out that I might of brought these bugs home with me. I washed everything but what if I didn't get them all... What bothers me the most about all of this is that those bed bugs were big, they were fully grown. It takes a minimum of 3 weeks for a bed bug to get that big. It is hard to believe that absolutely know one in housekeeping noticed there was a bed bug problem for over 3 weeks. This tells me that either they ignored the problem or they are doing a terrible job cleaning properly. This also means that the hotel is not spraying for insects on a regular basis like they should be. And no other guests have complained about insects??? Small, dark, dingy. We stopped to use the bathroom and grab lunch but the food places did not look good. The bathroom was clean though! And plenty of parking. read more
