1/2 club sandwich wife and I split it

Solid Lunch Stop While Charging the Car My wife and I stopped in at the casino to charge our car and grab a quick bite to eat. We chose the Robinwood Grill -- some reviews were mixed, but we decided to give it a try. After being seated, our server greeted us promptly and took our drink order. When he returned, we ordered the club sandwich with fries and mentioned we were splitting it. To our surprise and appreciation, when the food came out, it had already been split and plated separately -- a nice touch! The sandwich overall was good, but I have to knock off a star for the tomato. It was the hard top slice of the tomato, which really shouldn't have made it onto the sandwich. It's something the cook should've caught -- just grab a better slice. While we were eating, we noticed the tables around us getting their food, and everything looked fantastic. One group had the fish tacos (three generous tacos per plate), another had steak and cheese, someone else got fish and chips with a large portion, and one person had a great-looking burger. Overall, we were satisfied with the meal, and if we're in the area again, we'd definitely consider coming back.

My last time here was my last time her and with good reason. The service (or lack there of) is horrendous, the menu options are incredibly basic. I will compliment the ambiance of the dining room, the way they positioned it to look out over the Cahuilla Mountain Range is truly outstanding.

I had such an amazing brunch with a friend at Ribbonwood Grill! The biscuits and gravy are amazing. Plus, the service was top notch, nice ambiance and very friendly staff. I'm definitely coming back!

Do NOT underestimate this hotel just because it's a smaller location!…read more For starters, the room had a refrigerator, microwave AND a closet with plenty of space to hang your clothes. Honestly, that's wild because some much more expensive hotels don't even offer all of that. Let's talk about the staff because everyone was SO friendly. From the GM, Cory, to the front desk, concierge, and security team, everyone was welcoming and helpful. You can really tell when a hotel has a good team, and this one does. Everything was also really clean, from the rooms to the lobby and even the back areas. And FREE PARKING?! That's always a win in my book. They're open 24/7 too, so honestly, what's not to love? But the biggest selling point for me, besides the views, was THE FOOD! I absolutely loved the chicken wings, steak fries, and burger. Everything was delicious. And breakfast? Also SO good ... and surprisingly affordable! Overall, this hotel really exceeded my expectations. Sometimes the smaller hotels are the ones that get overlooked, but this one absolutely deserves some love. Great staff, clean rooms, free parking, good food, great views, and affordable prices. I'd definitely stay here again!

This place is much bigger than we imagined and has so much character. First off, everyone here is incredibly friendly and welcoming. They genuinely go out of their way to make sure you're happy and comfortable. The lobby, bathrooms, restaurant, & hotel rooms were all very clean. The beds were super comfortable, & the water pressure was AMAZING! And let's not forget about the views! Sunrise? Sunset? 10/10! But honestly, the best part of our trip was the FOOD! Breakfast was crazy delicious, & you get SO much for $12-$16?! You definitely don't get that in LA! We actually had breakfast, lunch, AND dinner here, and everything was immaculate. I highly recommend the chicken wings with a side of ranch. We had the mango habanero wings, and I seriously wanted to order a few more to take home! I also loved their burger & steak fries, so if you're looking for recommendations, those are definitely my two picks! I also want to give a huge shoutout to the staff. Everyone was so kind, from the concierge (Caroline) all the way to the GM, Cory. We truly had zero complaints and felt so welcomed during our entire stay. A few things worth knowing: Free parking Open 24/7 Breakfast: 8 AM-11 AM Dinner: 11 AM-8 PM What it lacked in size, it more than made up for in character! We absolutely loved our stay and CANNOT WAIT TO RETURN!

We were not disappointed at all. Upon arriving, there was a musician playing, and they did seat us off to the right so we could not see but could hear still. There is outdoor and indoor seating, but at the time we came it appeared that the outdoor was reserved for an event. We happily sat inside! Having met Jeremy's parents earlier in the day who also recommended his restaurant, and they were just lovely, we had hoped to possibly meet Jeremy too. I wanted to try everything, but we opt on getting a few dishes to share. Our son ordered the filet mignon and they were able to substitute mashed potatoes for fries. Amazing!! The mac & brisket appetizer appeared to be the highlight and specialty and we just had to order it. Every bite was cheeesy and delicious with the brisket very moist. We couldn't go without ordering the Brussels sprouts and it had a twist with ponzu sauce and pineapple. Definitely a different take and I thoroughly enjoyed the taste. Every bite was foodgasmic and I highly recommend!!! I knew coming here that some Yelpers have experienced wavering in quality, so glad we did not experience that at all. As of the date that we came, we understood that the restaurant had been listed for sale, not sure if Jeremy sold it yet or not. I hope not, we plan on coming back this summer!

Our server, Arcy (please forgive me if I spelled your name wrong!) is always lovely and just a delight to be around. She is very knowledgeable and is very helpful with any questions we have. As far as the restaurant itself, it's very in touch with the mountain, cabin vibe. It's very comforting and a nice change from your average diner. It's safe to say that my family and I will come back as we've done the years before on our trips to Idyllwild.

My girlfriend was craving a fat, juicy, pink in the middle burger and the winner of the selection…read moretonight was The Lumber Mill. It was their unique burgers that caught our eye so we decided to come in and see what's good. The first thing I noticed is that their prices seem a bit pricey for a burger and fries but all the prices here in Idyllwild are elevated so these prices are in alignment with other restaurants. And for me as the prices get higher so does my scrutiny of the food and overall experience. My reason for 3 stars instead of 4 is price vs amount of food you get - and the fact that they charge $5 for a Dr. Pepper. That's a bit obscene in my books, so 3 stars. Now the details... I was gonna get a pastrami burger ($20.99) until I noticed the Bacon Lovers ($19.99) and I'm a huge bacon lover and this is the first time I've ever seen a bacon lovers burger so I had to go with it. It is a juicy beef patty stuffed with bacon bits & topped with American cheese, more bacon and 1000 island dressing served on a brioche bun. They cooked it to a perfect med rare and it was really good. It comes with your choice of side (fries, coleslaw, potato salad, baked beans or garlic mashed potato's. You can upgrade to fried pickes, zucchini, sweet potato fries, onion rings or corn nuggets for $2.50 and our waitress was raving about the beer battered onion rings so I chose those. The burger was great and so were the onion rings, however as you can see from the picture, there were not many onion rings AT ALL. I don't mind a $2.50 upgrade charge but give me some onion rings PLEASE!! Not happy about the quantity fr that upcharge! My girlfriend got the Wild Western burger ($20.99) which is a juicy beef patty topped with bacon, cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce & onion rings. She didn't really like it much. She also upgraded to fried zucchini and she didn't much care for those either. It seems like there are good things here and some not great things here. If there is something ypu want to try here, I would go through the reviews and see what people are saying about it. Again, I feel like I got taken advantage of with that up charge on the 6 onion rings they gave me, but they did deliver on how good they are. I would recommend doing your research before ordering here.

Finally, it'd time to give it a try. There's a parking lot behind the pub but the main entrance is around the front area. There's a sign posted to where the parking is. You have a little steep driveway down to the parking lot. I don't think there's an entrance from the back so I wouldn't know how you would enter if you parked in the back. There's a fairly decent amount of parking and to our surprise, they even had a little nature trail along it. Anyways... The front entrance has a good amount of stairs up that will lead you to the pub. Quite an entrance I must say but once you reach the top, it's pretty much an open feel. Majority of the place is out in the open. Some seating inside but everything is pretty much outdoor. Nice little sections off the balcony and then you have the whole bar counter that just looks out to the parking lot and nature. I love that concept. Also, they offer food which is a good addition. Most breweries offer food but it's your basics items while this place has a lot of things to choose from. Of course theres beer on tap, wines as well as specialties cocktails. A good selections of items to choose from. We went with their cider which was perfect for the heatwave as it was nice and crisp. Goes down easily which isn't a good thing... lol... Food/snacks, we went with their jalapeños poppers which came with ranch dipping and a jam spread. That was a first time having it with jam and let me say, it worked. Poppers were really good stuffed with the cream cheese and a nice golden deep fried crunch. Highly recommend. And the pretzel. That came with the single or double. Go with double as it's worth the valve, a few dollars difference. That came with cheese sauce, and two different mustard dip. Pretty good starters as well as the cider. The food menu was quite good with what we had but looking at what others ordered, everything looked delicious. The place was great and the open concept looking out to nature was major. It's also very pet friendly as there were loads of fur babies out and about. On either side of the place, there's outdoor balconies that look out to nature as well but I think the main bar counter as you walk in takes the cakes. Finally trying this place out and I would say it's totally worth it. Service was amazing and all the staffs were excellent. Drinks and food were delicious. Would definitely be back next time .
