I later found out this has happened to most of the other units. Reuben let us know we could hold off a bit on replacing the segment, and we did, until he identified a year or two later the problem had gotten worse - by then we had saved a bit of money for this. Reuben and his team was very efficient on breaking concrete, digging, and replacing the section with new PVC for a good price. I was able to get a next day afternoon service and was quoted $195 for first 45 minutes ($90 visit fee plus 45 Min at $105 which is $35 for each 15 minutes) which very reasonable compared to other quotes I got. Kurt and Luis arrived promptly on time after getting a text that they were on the way -- I called the office and Kelly confirmed where they were coming from which was nice. They efficiently took care of removing our old metal pipe, then rodded the line which had a tricky bend, and then replaced with PVC and even included an access cover upon my request. Kurt was an expert and very courteous as well as Luis! They even took off their shoes since it was a little wet outside which was not expected but appreciated.
