We got there a little after 11:00, and people where already coming in. We were seated in a booth in the bar area. I asked our cool server Coyote if we could get the tv nearest to us changed to the Olympics and they kindly changed the channel. Coyote was doing double duty as the bartender and server to the surrounding booths. Our appetizers came out quickly. The mains came out shortly thereafter. In here, its always Mardi Gras!!!!! I was excited to see that OKC had a Razoo's. I always enjoy Razoo's. It was a treat, as usual. It was a bit of a drive, away from bricktown and all the happenings. It had a bit of scenery and and some connecting restaurants. There was plenty of free parking and the staff was nice and welcoming. I've visited this location a few times in person, so I'm surprised at my call-in, pick-up order that wasn't as I ordered. I ordered the Fish Ah Yee, extra crispy and extra sauce (which costs extra) and I received neither. I was happy with everything I ordered. The Rat Toes were my favorite thing I ate here because it was something new, however this dish deserves a better name. I don't know how everyone throughout the corporate ladder in this company thought that was a good name for something they expect people to eat. Some people are hesitant to order certain types of seafood since we are far from natural water sources that produce it, but the alligator was fresh and very enjoyable. I go to this restaurant a lot. It has always been a great place to get good food and excellent service. However, we went to dinner with friends last night at Razzoo's and this being their first time dining here, experienced extremely slow service, disorganized delivery of the food to our table and overall slow unconcerned attention to our needs. The food was even subpar, not meeting the previously high standard set by the chefs. After our experience last night, I'm not sure we will ever go back. And that makes me sad. read more

It melts my mouth and in my mouth! The boudin balls are decent, but I've had better and cheaper ones at krispy krunchy chicken gas station kiosks. Definitely overpriced. Boudin balls are usually 50 cents/piece or less in Louisiana for balls twice the size of these. A little pricey but that's okay. I'll still pay it for some of those dishes. The service was great!!!! TIP: DON'T COME HUNGRY. The portions are humorously small. We got the chicken tender "basket" and the andouille sausage with red beans and rice. The 4 tiny chicken tenders were half the size of a normal tender. And I could count the number of beans they gave in this order. This restaurant must be managed by thugs because they also require you to pay for your to-go food upfront and you have to know to go to a remote part of the restaurant and pick up your to-go bag yourself. I learned this the hard way because when I arrived at the restaurant, no one was standing at the hostess stand so I walked to the huge bar. I waited and waited for someone (like the bartender) to assist me. No one did. So finally I flagged down someone walking by and they told me I was supposed to know that a bag on a counter completely opposite the front door was my bag of food. First time at Razoo's in OKC and the food was delicious. I had the fried shrimp and catfish platter. The seafood was crisp but not overdone. There was no soggy oil either. The dipping cocktail and tarter sauce had a nice spice and tasted fresh. The staff promptly met us at the door and showed us to our table. Then we set for a little while because our server had an accident, however the manager stopped by to ask us if we had given our order and chatted with us. The server came then and took our order. Overall it was a good experience for us. The atmosphere and ambiance was appealing. The establishment was clean and organized. The music was nice and upbeat. I would recommend Razoo's the next time you want to have some cajun style food with a refreshing drink to relax the day away. Good food...fun place. The restaurant is in a beautiful area. Take the time to take a stroll around the dancing water. It's a little Noisy but fun noisy and still can talk. We have been a few times now and the Jambalaya is still my favorite thing to order. Comes with shrimp n fish but I ask to hold it out. So they give you plenty of chicken and sausage,vegs, and loads of great sauce. Topping it off is the best buttered bread! My husband had blackened fish which he loved. They have a large menu so I can't imagine not finding something that you love. Off course to start with we had the honey balls which were on special. And to end we had the Peach bread pudding. Spicy for sure. if you are and older person who doesn't care for spicy, i recommend eating somewhere else. if you love spicy foods, go ahead! the service was okay, we did get sat in the back by the bathrooms so we were served by bartenders, but other than that it was fine. however my dad did almost lose his breath cause he didnt think it was going to be spicy. the waiters tell you it's not that spicy and truth be told, it isnt. but you will get that tingly feeling. if you look at the menu, its mostly seafood, shrimp, crawfish, etc. but they do have some pretty good chicken and porkchops. they were out of steak. the place was a little chilly. and the only place we could get in without reservations but that was only because there were live performances from the thunder basketball team. i think it was fine but i probably would not come back again. read more
