Ordered the shrimp and crawfish fried rice and a beer, and damn it the spot. Lots of shrimp and crawfish, good flavor, and a decent sized portion. Raul served us on Friday and again on Saturday night when we decided to return. My dad got the beans and rice and loved it, couldn't finish his portion. Figured I would go get my favorite food, and saw that I had limited options near the airport open past 10pm. So I am thankful this places closes at 2:30AM!!! I ordered the Combo #2, market price was only $42.99, which came with snowcrab, 2 lbs of crawfish, sausage, potato, corn. That was a pretty good price for a Californian! The crawfish were okay, the sausage was really juicy and I enjoyed. The snow crab smelled like ammonia ong. I didn't expect much but they should really get on that. The sauce was brown and gritty and soo dang salty! This place was 10 minutes from DFW and open late so I got what I got. Strawberry Daiquiri was basically a strawberry syrup slush mocktail. The restaurant was connected to a food court it appears, and is pretty old and casual. The storage freezers were next to the dining tables. Got the crabs, crawfish, and shrimp boil bag and was disappointed. First, the bag was full of oil! It was separated from the seasoning but it made for an unpleasant experience. I've never had oily ship, crab, and crawfish before and would not recommend. The crabs were just ok enough to eat but pay have been old judging from the color and feel of the shell. The crawfish just were not appealing for me, not only because of the oil it was basting in, but they were a little grey and some were actually DIRTY! And being from Louisiana, that's a huge no no. The shrimp had their head on and looked better than they actually were. The shrimp were entirely overcooked and would unravel as I removed them from the shell. Company work lunch we order to go, 2 of us got the crawfish by the LB. Crawfish were not cleaned and had smelled rotten. 1 girl got the crawfish po'boy and said it had no flavor. I almost always take photos when I review. The one time that I should have, I didn't. This is the first time I have ordered boiled crawfish from here this year. However, I have done it in the past with no issue. It is not my favorite place to go for crawfish, but it's the closest. I ordered 2 lbs of boiled crawfish with delivery between 630 and 7:30 PM. No issues with the delivery. However, the crawfish were horrible. First, they were rubbery. It's as if they had been sitting in some water for a very long time. Secondly, instead of being in liquid boil, it was a paste. Yes, that's correct. thick pasty seasoning, no liquid. When I saw the bag like that, I should have taken them back. Lesson learned. My thought process was that regardless of the paste seasoning, they could still possibly be good. I was wrong. I couldn't even eat half. For one, many were covered in the paste. No exaggeration. I just threw them away. Such a disappointment. The fact that they were willing to serve them like that is even more disappointing. I will not be ordering from Cajun Crab anymore. I'm still kicking myself for not taking a photo because this review does it no justice. read more

I got 2lbs of crawfish, with the Cajun original seasoning and the flavor was great. But the amount they charge for crawfish here is OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!!! 10.99 per lb is absolutely insane. From someone who's eaten crawfish their entire life I'm used to paying 3 to 6 $ per pound for amazingly cooked and seasoned crawfish and that comes with usually 4 potatoes and 4 corn for 2lbs. But I just got ONLY crawfish for 10.99 a pound. The service is good but the ambiance of the building is bland not really any life in this place, for the 2 hours I was here no one else walked into the door. Overall flavor was there but the prices they charge is absolutely insane. I could get a 20lb sack of live crawfish for the price of what they charged. If you don't care about pricing, come enjoy some good food. But as someone who grew up on eating this, the "Market price" they decide is insane and do not recommend anyone paying this price for regular crawfish. read more

Absolutely loved it! From the moment we walked in we smelled cleanliness and the aromatics of the Cajun food. The restaurant was super quiet and we were immediately seated. We ordered Cajun wings, cajun fries, and crab cakes to start. We later orders gator bites and the famous Catoufee. The catfish on the catoufee was so reliably breaded and flavorful. I would probably not return. I tried this place because it had good reviews on Yelp, but I was disappointed. The main reason is the overall cleanliness. A large black stain on the concrete in front of the door gives a wrong first impression. Upon entering, I was met with dirty windows, walls, and an overall sticky environment. This little spot is a hidden gem. We ordered a lb of crab, a lb of headless shrimp, and a fried fish basket with fries. Yes, it was a lot of food, but we wanted to try as much as we could. I'm visiting Dallas (Grapevine) and found this place on yelp. It's 13 mins from my hotel and it was going on 10pm and they don't close until 2am so that's a plus ! So i drove on over and they are located in a shopping center with tons of parking! Designated parking in the front for their customers as well. Walk in and it's 4 people at the bar and a couple all the way in the corner of the restaurant. Every last table had trash on it. They never cleaned it from when the previous person left. So I'm standing there waiting and waiting and waiting. There's no sign that says please wait or to seat yourself. So i stood there and finally the lady sees me from the kitchen as she walked by the door. She said let me see if i have a clean table, I'm thinking "you don't". She finds a table and it's across from 3 tables filled with trash! I got the boil for 2 which included crawfish, crab leg cluster, shrimp, potatoes, and corn. I added sausage and side of Cajun fries. Then EVERYONE disappeared. They went in the back and didn't come back out for 15 mins or so. My seafood comes out and no fries. They didn't drop them yet, had to wait 10 mins for those. The boil is so BLAND! I got all the flavors in one and even asked for Cajun and butter on the side to try to make it better. It tasted like they just cooked it in water and sprinkled Cajun and lemon pepper on it and shook up the bag. If i lived in Dallas i would never return. They are so slow. I've been waiting 12 mins so far for them to bring my check, the 3 tables across from me are still dirty, and there is now maybe 13 people in here. Oh, and it's very hot inside! Something seemed off, I travel for a living and eat my weight in crawfish every year but this portion was average. It was the meat and not the seasoning. Was eating the crawfish po boy I ordered through Door Dash and thinking it was okay, until I bit down on what I assumed must've been bone, until I pulled a piece of metal from my mouth (see photo) Could've seriously hurt me if I'd swallowed it. How does this even happen?! UPDATE - the next day I tried to eat something and my tooth came out in pieces. Had to have it removed, but had to get my wisdom teeth removed for them to work on the broken tooth as well - and still need an implant where the broken tooth came out, but didn't have an extra $3k laying around after what it cost me just to get them all out. Literally no one from this restaurant ever contacted me after I made the complaint and DoorDash called them, or after seeing my review online. I ended up here because the original place I went to was closed. Bad decision on my part. I ordered the shrimp etouffee and it was the worst "etouffee" I'd ever eaten in my life. THERE WERE ROACHES IN MY ICE CREAM!! Everyone please check your food before eating! After eating what we would consider below sub par Cajun food from Cajun Crab we decided to give their desert a fair chance. We ordered the s'mores whiskey cake with ice cream. I couldn't believe my eyes when I opened the ice cream container there were little roach legs floating on my ice cream! I called the establishment and the representative Raul answered the phone. I explained that there were roaches in my ice cream and I needed to speak with someone in management. NOT ONCE did I get an apology for this, but I did receive was a rebuttal from the chef who stated " there's no way that could have happened".
