Unfortunately the grossest experience in my life has happened to me here , my boyfriend and I visited two days in a row and on the second day I bit into a rotten potato and spent the next 20 minutes gagging , I could've got sick this is absolutely unacceptable so great food but be careful you might get food poisoning

The place has its normal crab decor. When I was there there was no one in the restaurant at 500 pm. Lots of go orders going out the door. The oyster were rinsed so you didn't get the ocean flavor with each bit. I got the half pound crab and shrimp with old bay spicey.

I went for lunch, it was completely empty. Just me and a Door dash driver. They still managed to get my order wrong. I take it home and it's the wrong order, I'm 30 minutes from it so I'm not going back. I eat the order I was given and it's absolutely amazing. The flavor was so good, maybe best I ever had. All you can eat seafood during the week is my go to! Took friends there yesterday and they loved it as well! We all needed to be rolled out! Great choice of flavor options and seafood! If I could give a negative star I would but unfortunately Yelp requires at least 1 star. Last week I visited with my family and was exposed to who I assume was a manager acting very unprofessional about a situation at another table. She proceeded to be very disrespectful to the waitress about confusion over a drink. I would've expected to see a manager maintain a respectful and calm attitude however it seemed as if there was a lack of conflict resolution training and emotional intelligence which is necessary for a person in a manager position. I don't appreciate the negative energy around while on a rare night out. Please correct this asap or your business will fail. read more

I just moved to the area and so happy to have found this place. Prices are reasonable and the Food is always goood, I usually get mine to go so I can't comment on service. Today I dropped in to order a to-go order. I requested from my waitress a taste of the "all mix" before I ordered a full entree. It was so good. I ordered a pound of headless shrimp with sausage and potatoes. The potatoes are so nice and tender. While I waited for my food, I order a cosmopolitan cocktail. The cosmopolitan was good. It lacked fresh lime juice to balance the alcohol. I highly recommend. Can't wait to connect. read more

My girl and I wanted a pick-me-up after a long day and wanted to try this spot out. We work close so we met up here and it was the best decision. We were seated in Asias section, she took care of us. Delicious seasoning I got the house special seasoning and it was so good. Only reason I ranked 4 stars is because I order squid that was still somewhat cold. They were quick to refund me for it, and had it not been cold I would've rated higher. read more

If I could leave no stars I would. We are just leaving this place on a Sunday. Walking in it felt as though the lady at the counter didn't want to get up ok we look past that. We were seated and sat there for about 5 mins no one came to the table. The place is practically empty it was us a party of 2 and another family that's it. So the lack of getting waited on can't be blamed on being busy. To say it was our first time going it really suck. Needless to say we won't be back. Laughing crab was definitely a joke. read more

Ordered 2 lbs of crawfish (House Special/Medium Spicy). This was so good I ordered another pound a few days later. This is the best crawfish I have had so far in Dallas. Great flavor and I highly recommend getting some extra garlic butter and extra sausage. Sorry (not sorry), I have no pictures but Crawfish is best when it's warm so had to dig in‍. Best believe I am going to visit this location in person soon for a 5 lbs order. Thanks for the good food. read more

I have been going here once a month because I love crab legs. It seems to have more traction than when they first opened up. I enjoyed the daily specials and low prices compared to other crab shacks. The servers are sweet and will check on you a lot. The drinks are okay they could be better. I think the vibe of this place would be so fun if more people went on certain nights like do different vibes each night. I think the lady is the owner but she is very sweet and remembers me each time. I get the crab legs with extra sausage, mix all, hot. I think the spice level is ayor but hot is not hot enough for me. I enjoy coming here to destress. I see great things for this place and hope they implement some of my ideas about having special nights with themes (hip hop night, country night, etc) read more

Today, I wanted to try something new and tasty. I made the right choice. I stopped by The Laughing Crab to pick up my order of King Crab with corn, potatoes, and sausage, all included. I couldn't wait to dig in. OMG, so very tasty. I truly enjoyed this meal. The food is amazing with all the spices. It was more than I could hardly eat or bargain for. We also have a variety of fried foods such as fried shrimp catfish and chicken tenders You also have a full Liquor Bar with a bunch of cocktails. Laughing crab is very passionate about our guest as well as our staff and our food. we also want to provide a lot of knowledge to the guest about how the food prepare . We also take reservations and we do call ahead seating so you can call us in advance and give us a heads up, so if you really like seafood or just want to try and have fun, I would definitely check it out at Laughing Crab restaurant. This was just my first stuffed flounder. It was so good even the leftover that followed me home reheated to make an Excellent meal the next day. I very seldom save and reheat fish but this was so good even reheated. Anaya's has been my go to for seafood for a couple of years, I think they are now even better. Just one customers opion so if you have not tried Anaya's maybe you should and then make up your own mind. Hope you enjoy Anaya's soon and leave a post here I would enjoy reading it just to see if it's just me or have they prefected Seafood.

I also tried the margarita flight and they aren't bad either, could be a tad bit stronger but flavor profiles were good. I also tried their oysters for the first time and they were good and cheesy like I like them. The service was great, our waiter was really attentive and nice and gave great menu suggestions to try because we loved both of our dishes.

There's also no hand-washing sink or station like most seafood boil spots have, which just feels odd. Overall, it doesn't give "seafood restaurant," it gives Tex-Mex mariscos. Unfortunately, everything else was a struggle from the moment we walked in. We didn't have reservations, but eventually found seats at the bar. Given how busy the place was, we figured the bar would mean faster, more attentive service. We were very wrong. We ordered two beers, a non-alcoholic drink, and three appetizers. The drinks arrived, and the appetizers followed about 10 minutes later -- fine so far. But there were no utensils. We had to ask for them, and we asked for plates as well, which never came. The empty dishes from our appetizers sat in front of us for a solid hour with no one clearing them. The bartender who took our order never once checked on us. With 3-4 people working behind the bar, only one server approached us during the entire 40-minute wait between appetizers and dinner to ask if we needed anything. The bartender told us twice that our food was "coming out shortly" -- and still, 40 minutes passed. When dinner finally arrived, my order was wrong. I ordered the Mongolian Short Rib, listed clearly under the Entree section of the menu. The bartender claimed I had ordered off a "happy hour" menu -- one I never saw or was told about -- and had swapped it for BBQ Pork Ribs without saying a word. Knowing a replacement could take another hour, my friend swapped plates with me and took the ribs. He had ordered the steak frites, which, for a rare steak, should have taken no more than 5-6 minutes to prepare. The third entree, fish and chips, was just okay -- a bit soggy and not particularly fresh. To top it all off, after everything we dealt with, the bartender never asked how our meal was or if we needed anything else. The food has potential, but the service was inattentive, disorganized, and frankly unacceptable for a busy restaurant that should know better.
