This was legit brisket! No sauce needed. I got the loaded mac bowl, mac was super yummy! I got the rice bc it looked really good on the website, but my portion didn't have the carrots or veggies. people at my job raved about this food truck and I was skeptical because I have tried a lot of BBQ food trucks and they all disappoint. For the first time I was not disappointed. Ordering was easy on the app, I like. I hear the lines get long and they were when we got our food, this saves me time since I don't have much time on lunch break. Shortly after arriving I pick up my food. WOW the size of the potato and the amount of meat of it was great. So I love the good serving sizes. Once I got back to my office I was in awe by the taste of the food. The brisket was perfectly cooked as well as the sausage. The last baked potato I got from somewhere else wasn't this big didn't have this amount of proteins and the potatoes hard. This one was so soft and it was huge. Love it. The Best I have had yet in San AntonioWe had the triple with brisket ribs and pulled pork sides Mac and cheese and bbq beans and an extra side of carrot soufflé. We also added the Bbq baked potato with cheese chives bacon bits brisket and smoked sausage . We had to try the Cake of course chocolate cake was the cake of the day and I wanted to try the gooey pecan bar. The brisket ends are burnt just right. Ribs so tender and pulled pork had great flavor oh and the sauce is great on everything. Loved the Mac and cheese! The soufflé was a nice treat! The cake was perfect almost like a mousse frosting I was sad it was not bigger. Overall quality of food was not good. Taste was not good, temperature was not good, and items were missing that were ordered. Pros: The baked potato salad is actually decent. I can taste the different flavors, and it actually tastes like a baked potato. No complaints there Cons: People behind me in line who had a bigger order received their food before me. Stood in line 1.5 hrs to receive my food after people behind me. Ordered the two meat plate with sausage, pulled pork, green beans, and baked potato salad. Only received the pulled pork, green beans, and baked potato salad on the plate, no sausage to be found. When I was walking away they made an announcement they were about to run out of sausage so I should of received mine. In all fairness I did not check my food until I got back to my desk. The walk back to my desk was pretty far, which is why I did not go back. Pulled pork was cold. Tasted like it was pulled out of a cooler and thrown on my plate. The barbeque sauce tasted like something out of a bottle and did not have a real good flavor. Green beans were mediocre at best. They were overly salty, and tasted like they mixed in a bacon seasoning. Not what I expect of a barbeque place. They Ran out of brisket and baked beans. We hired Cake-N-Que to cater our small wedding and the food was absolutely amazing! Shawn and David are wonderful and did everything to work with what we were looking for on our special day and their food brought it to another level! We got pulled pork, brisket, turkey and sausage and it was so flavorful. The sides were a hit with the Mac-n-cheese, green beans, potato salad and awesome pasta salad!
