Great array of choices. My favorites are the red velvet and birthday cake. The portions sizes are good as well.

My friend and I came here for a sugar craving. I love chocolate cake, I'm a chocolate cake connoisseur so obviously I tried the chocolate cake. It was seriously amazing. So delicious, not too rich, and the icing was impeccable. I also have a nut allergy and they reassured me and said that while nuts are in the facility, they take great care to avoid cross contamination which really helped ease my mind since I tend to not feel comfortable getting desserts from places where the reassurance isn't there. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner when we went and his pride for his business was palpable. His knowledge of everything and his passion while helping us pick flavors was very encouraging. My friend who doesn't even like cakes ended up loving them! And the fact that the cake will stay good for ten days even after opening?? Say less bro. I live 40 minutes away, but I will be coming here for my annual birthday cake and every time I'm in Dallas. Was looking for something sweet to eat but also not to big and this was perfect. Found them through google and I'm glad I did. They offer single serving cakes that you can save for later, no refrigeration needed. This was a selling point for me because I am absolutely not a fan of cold cake lol. I tried the red velvet and Oreo cakes, they were so so good! The cakes were both so soft, moist and rich in flavor. They are packaged in cute jars that you can close if you want to save for later. This cupcake in a jar is incredibly delicious and such a great concept! Great for sharing or saving a few bites for later. We were lucky enough to meet the owner who was so kind and passionate about her product, rightfully so. So good. We got a few to share between us, the frosting to cake ratio is perfection. Their cakes are delicious. I ordered 4 different kinds: lemon, chocolate, strawberry, and Italian cream. Each of them was moist and the little containers are adorable. There was another poster who said about the icing. I kind of agree, I wish there was a small lower layer, but that is totally personal preference because their icing is amazing. I tell all my friends and family about this place all the time since I have not seen anything like it anywhere else. I can only imagine the customer service being impeccable. I ordered the lemon, strawberry, and champagne cakes with a side of mexican vanilla ice cream! unfortunately I couldn't get an image of it because the way the cake smells when you pop that top. And then it tastes just like it smells and just like it's name. This is my new cheat! I promise they didn't disappoint! They understood the assignment and delivered with excellence. For starters: I absolutely adore these cakes are in jars. It's easy to take couple bites and save it for later without any fuss. Now let's get into detail with some flavors. I tried four. Chocolate: by far is my favorite. Sweet enough, moist, and not too dense. A great classic chocolate cake. Lemon: it's a great lemon cake but it did not have enough tart to shine through. I tasted more lemon flavoring without slight tartness. A key lime twist would've been fun. Taro: was very interesting. I do like taro desserts. This cake missed the mark for me. Texture was a little more dense but it could've been due to the starch in Taro. Last and my very least favorite: pink champagne. The only thing I liked about this dessert is the color and the sugar crystals. The cake was so dense. The texture was like a bean cake packed so tightly that I needed water to swallow. The only flavor the frosting has was cloyingly sweet sugar. I had a headache after a couple bites. Never had anything like it before. Overall, the jars are what kept it interesting for me. It would've been nice to have some whip, purées (pending on flavor), or toppings to make these cakes stand above the rest had it not been in jars. If what I just mentioned would not hold up in jars, it could've been served in condiment packaging. Packaging by the way was on point. Thoughtful in the bag, ribbon, and cute little fake spoons. Immediately the gentleman at the front was so friendly giving us all his attention and recommending all the different ones to try. I went with the classic birthday cake and was blown away by the flavor and the ratio of frosting to cake. For all you frosting fans out there, don't be worried by the one layer at the top because they do pipe frosting into the center of the cake. Would 100% go back for more flavors. read more

We ordered from a Delivery service last night, had the chocolate cake and a vanilla cake, both were delicious!! Super cute! We were craving something sweet again the next night it was about 10:30pm and we were out and about. We realized cake4one was still open so we drove over, it was a small building looked closed but when we came in one of the owners was in there and told us it was a temporary location. We loved his vibe! To be there at 10:30 on a Sunday night and jump up to tell us about the cakes and which ones were his favorite and which ones were vegan.
