Cool fall vibe on the patio with a fire. Why is everyone inside? Late September and a cool night. The food is interesting and the outdoor vibe awesome.

What a find!!! If you have young kids, they have a bounce house on the upper level while waiting for your food! Genius. The restaurant has a nice view of the mountains. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The food was delicious and there is something for everyone...seafood, meat eaters, vegans and vegetarians.

So there's a lot to like here. Great space. Good for groups. And they had music on a Thursday night of holiday week. The menu is straight up American and there's something for everyone. We loved the tuna nachos. Great wontons and good amount of tuna. A welcome mix from Mexican nachos. The meatball was full of lots of flavor; I loved the sauce with it. The sprouts were also good too. For main dishes, the haddock and salmon were good and kids loved the burgers and fries. The server also told us that the kitchen was busy yet our apps came out at a reasonable pace so all was good there. But all is not perfect. We did not order the meatball app and then we tried to return it we couldn't find a server to be found. So after 10 mins we just resigned ourselves to it. The salmon was supposed to come with stir fried mixed vegetables. It did not. It came with broccoli. Just a bit disappointing. And we got seated right next to the guitarist with a loud speaker on top of us. Far too close for a normal dinner. I couldn't hear half the night. That said, it was a holiday week and a bit of craziness is to be expected. I'd come back on a quieter night to enjoy it more.

Came here last night after spending the day playing 18 holes. Got the $14 chips and guacamole to start for the table and the portion was horrendously small. Got a burger as a main meal which wasn't cooked to medium as asked but still had lots of flavor. Lastly, service was quite slow considering the small amount of people that were there. Overall, very overpriced for what you get.

The host quoted a really long wait time but we actually got seated an hour earlier than what was estimated - score! While we were waiting I got to try one of the alcoholic hot chocolates at the bar that warmed my soul. We got seated in a separate main dining area away from the bar. Our server was very friendly and efficient even on a super busy night like the one we came on. Once our food came we all agreed - best Irish pub food we've ever had! The chicken wings were super crispy as well as the fish and chips. I normally don't care for corned beef and cabbage, but it tasted better here than where ever I've had it in the past and the shepherd's pie filling was juicy with a lot of flavor. The perfect pours of Guinness and live music were the icing on top. Highly recommend this place if you're hanging around the Ludlow area!

Honestly, my favorite part of the meal was the fries, which says a lot.

What really made the visit for me was the service. Our server (I wish I remembered her name) was very friendly, helpful with making suggestions for a picky grandchild (she was very happy with her meal, thanks to the server!) and she was very personable, making us feel welcome and not rushed in the least. The only negative I can report, and the reason for 4 stars instead of five was the amount of room at the table; for two adults and three children it was a bit tight but our server did her best with clearing unused items so that we were able to use the little space we did have. Thank you for being a part of our successful "date night" with the grandchildren. :)

After that, we were told that we had to go to the bar to order any additional drinks, after waiting over 1/2 hour for our waitress to come back to our table. We ordered the corned beef dinner, only to get a stew-like dinner that had so much fat in it. So much for $19 spent on each of the two dinners. I liked going to this establishment because it's so close to my house, but why should my bill be almost $100 for two frozen food dinners and margaritas that are not even made correctly? Sour mix is NOT an ingredient in margaritas. The final straw was tonight when I took my mom in for dinner and drinks. When I asked Erica for my tab, she brought over my check and told me that because I was paying with a card, I had to go to the bar to use the machine, even though the device is designed to be portable (taken to a table for the patron to pay the bill). The food is way overpriced for frozen stuff that I could make at home, the drinks are not fresh and made properly, and the guest should not have to go to the bar to settle the bill. What really kills me is that there is a photo of John Taffer from Bar Rescue hanging on the wall with the owner of this establishment, but quite obviously, the "owner" just doesn't care about the quality of products being delivered to his guests, nor guest hospitality. The booth seats are in bad repair and quite uncomfortable. You have definitely lost me as a customer in your establishment.

Hubby reported his roast beef sandwich was great although the roast beef looked overcooked to me. What was dubious, however, were the French fries. They had a sort of mealy texture and a very odd taste--I thought they used coconut oil to fry but hubby thinks they coated them with baking soda, then fried. Either way I wasn't a fan.

The inside is charming and has that old wooden bar smell that I like. This would be a great place to grab a drink on a cold winter day. Very Scottish, lol. We were seated immediately for our 6:30 dinner reservation. We each ordered appetizers, which took nearly 45 minutes to arrive, even the cup of soup. Mozzarella sticks were nothing special, the cheddar tomato soup was really tasty. My mother in law loved the cock-a-leekie soup, and my father in law liked his scotch egg. It took another 20-25 minutes for our entrees to arrive. For a restaurant that closes at 8 pm, it was surprising at how long the food took to come out. They must have a very small kitchen. Everyone in our group liked their meal. My "loaded vegetarian baked potato" was just a full cup of sour cream and cheese on top of a potato with lukewarm broccoli on the side. A bit disappointing, with there were at least chives or seasoning. Basically nothing else vegetarian on the menu so this was what I was stuck with. Desserts were good, especially the sticky toffee pudding. I would call this place a step above average in the area, but service leaves a lot to be desired.

The hostess was incredibly personable and sweet. I'd had a crap day and really just wanted a beer. It was 5 minutes to close. I figured it wasn't going to happen, but I figured I'd look at their draft menu for the next day and get an idea of what I'd want to eat when I come back. Not only did they take great care of me and get me a MUCH needed beer, but when I came back to eat the next day it got even better! I couldn't decide which beer I wanted. The girl was SO nice and gave me half of each. Good call, because I definitely liked one more than the other! Now HERE is the BEST PART: the worthy burger. Sweet Jesus. I heard angels. Seriously one of the best burgers I've ever had. Ever. The bun was perfect and THOSE PICKLES! The cheese was perfectly melted. Just the right amount of secret sauce. Did I mention the pickles were amazing? I also ordered truffle fries with Parmesan and a kid size order of the Mac and cheese. Because real cheese. They weren't bad. The truffle fries were on the milder side, but tasty. Maybe a little soft. Pro tip: get the pesto aoli to dip! I like homemade Mac and cheese and I hardly ate more than a few bites. I had heard great things but eh. Maybe I was just in love with the burger! I didn't get a picture. My phone died and I couldn't wait do yourself a favor- get the worth burger with some extra pickles on the side!
