Instead of sending the missing hardware, I had to return them to 4 Wheel parts and they had to return them and order a second set. After that hassle I just had the 2nd set installed by 4wp. All good until 1 winter (currently 10 months old) and I noticed the powder coating starting to blister due to excessive rust. Cali Raised Bumper for 2024 Toyota 4Runner. 99% satisfied with your 4runner bumper. Your front bumper and led light kit for the Toyota 4Runner is the best looking on the market, hands down. It accepts the widest two row LED light bar, which you also supply. NO looking to see what light bar will fit correctly and having to purchase separate light bar brackets. The quality and finish are outstanding. The ONLY thing that would make this kit 100% satisfying would be to paint or coat the light bar brackets (the ones I received were bar metal) and supply 5/16th quality bolts instead of the cheap 1/4 allen head bolts to connect the fender brackets. Hands down the worst experience I have ever had with any business. I would recommend avoiding at all costs. Take a look at my other reviews and you will see that I very rarely review businesses and when it I do it is always to give kudos to somewhere that has provided an above and beyond product/service. These guys are so bad, however, I had to buck the trend. Ordered some of their mounts for the Cali Raised LED bed rack and retrax bed cover. They claim to be wholly unaffiliated with Cali Raised LED, which I have difficulty believing for a variety of reasons, and use them as one of their many scapegoats (which seems to be a list that includes anyone and everyone but themselves) when things do not go to plan. Long story short, the product they offered was not well designed and did not fit properly with the equipment it was made to accommodate. They did no R&D prior to offering the product for sale and as a result, over the course of the better part of a year, we tried 3 different versions of their unfinished product as each redesign presented new problems (and none actually worked). Each attempt was a several hour endeavor in uninstalling and reinstalling the rack which each time ended in frustration as yet again, it became clear that the new design was still incompatible with the rack and cover. If it wasn't bad enough that they were using the end customer for their product testing, the real kicker was the jaw droppingly poor level of customer service. I spent hours on the telephone with everyone at this company, mostly the VP, Randy Mottram. Many promises were made that remain undelivered (including offering a credit which was never honored despite multiple attempts). Every timeline that was given was delayed for months without explanation or apology. If an explanation was given, it was always anybody's fault but their own. I spent enough time on the phone with Randy that on more than one occasion he had apparently forgotten what he had previously told me and told me contradictory lies. By the time that the 3rd version of the product was ready to be shipped, my wife had written a review on yelp describing our experience with the company so far, and they refused to ship the product unless we removed the reviews. Let me repeat that because it bears repeating - THE COMPANY DIRECTLY TOLD US THEY WOULD NOT DELIVER OUR PRODUCT UNLESS WE REMOVED NEGATIVE REVIEWS. After the 3rd version of the product again did not fit with the equipment it was designed for, we cut our losses, sold the rack at a loss, and went with a reputable company. Unprofessional from the top down, poorly designed products, and horrendous customer service. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. read more

Great business with great people. Worked closely with Morgan Mizuno to get roof racks for my Tacoma and a new suspension and lift. They have a good selection of accessories and parts even when everyone else is out of stock. Morgan was able to find me a pair of Bilstein 8112 coil overs for my lift, when no one else carries them. They offer sound advice on items and also offer installation services for all the accessories, lights and lift kits. All the guys at the shop have their own trucks and can offer first hand experience and recommendations. Ended up purchasing a prinsu cab rack and hidden bumper light bar with installation. They put together a Bilstein 8112/5620 lift kit with Deaver springs and ICON UCA. Fallen Wildpeak 285/70/R17 on 17" Icon compression wheels. Did a great job installing everything! read more

I was very disappointed with my experience at cali raised off-road. Firstly, I called the phone number on file to verify if location was in Buena park or Placentia. No answer the first time and the second time, the associate was speaking to someone else when they picked up the phone and I had to wait for them to finish their conversation. Secondly, I went to pick up some items. They had the items ready but seemed to have difficulty ringing up the items on their system, not sure if it was because it was a new system or the associate was new. It was an awkward exchange watching the associate cursing under their breathe trying to figure how to work the computer. Asked about a discount advertised they had earlier in the day that they could not find on their own website, could not say when was expired, and did not explain the terms of the discount clearly. Lastly, I paid with my credit credit an amount close to $900 dollars for the items. My phone notified me that the purchase was approved, however the associate told me that it did not go through and would have to charge me again. I showed them on my app that the purchase went through, was under pending like all new transactions on credit cards are put under, and that they did charge my card and like all credit card transactions would usually take 2-3 days to post. The associate tried to explain to me how a bank works, even though I never have encountered this issue. They asked me to call my bank to make sure the purchase was approved. Once I did and got confirmation from the bank that everything went through and the bank asked me to explain to them how credit card purchases work, they still insisted the charge did not go through. At that point, I no longer wanted to deal with the customer service of this location. Especially since there was no managers present at the moment. Now very annoyingly, I have to dispute for the very first time in my life a credit transaction for a charge that wasn't fraud but simply a matter of the location charging my card and yet me leaving empty handed. read more

Add me to the list of unhappy customers. Ordered rock sliders with every option available and paid for the install in April. I got notified couple weeks that the sliders were finally ready. The issues were supply chain with the steel. I offered to help as my customer locally is a steel distributor and had inventory available but they refused the help. I knew what's happening in the market and I was really in no rush to get the part so I didn't make a big deal out of it and just moved on. When I received the notification that the parts are in I scheduled my installation appointment, I told them I will be traveling that day and I asked specifically how long it would take and when can I pick up the truck on that day. I was told a maximum of 2 hours from my appointment time. I'm here today and I was told that my appointment was not on schedule but it was assigned to my sales invoice, whatever that means. Person helping me had absolutely zero customer service skills, made no effort to make things up after the screw up and started ringing up other customers while I was in front of him. I spoke with another person, same attitude. They took the truck in and told me it should be ready by 1:00 p.m. I called at one and they said to give him another 30 minutes and it will be ready. I gave them an extra hour and I showed up at 2:00 which put me already an hour behind my travel schedule. As I pull in I see my stock sides uninstalled and no rock sliders on the truck, and the truck is parked outside as they pulled in two other trucks to work on. As soon as I went upstairs to ask what happened the person that was helping me decided to take his break and when I asked for an update he chose to answer the phone rather than help me. I asked another person for help and he said he was busy. I walked back downstairs and asked a third gentleman for help and he told me he will try to find out. They sent another person downstairs to talk to me and his attitude was horrible as if this is the first time he's dealing with a customer. He just kept on coming up with excuses, offered no solution, said that they're busy and they have to take other tracks in It shouldn't be my problem since I had an appointment set 2 weeks prior. He came down with an attitude and said I can just take the truck as is and when I told him I have little kids that use the step-downs to go up to the truck he said that wasn't his problem. Nasty attitudes, unwilling to help, prioritize phones and chatting with themselves over customers standing in front of them. The kid whose truck was being worked on told me he had no appointment but he was told if he bought the lights from them they would put him ahead and get them installed. I spent $3k with them and even bought parts today when I dropped off the truck. I guess it doesn't matter. Upon inspection of their install I found that they didn't feel like putting couple bolts back in that hold my brake lights. Watch out for this one. read more

A few days after picking up my brand new 2021 Tacoma TRD off road I called and spoke to Morgan about getting some sliders and fog lights, he was able to fit me in their busy schedule. As busy as they were Morgan took his time to explain and show me the different options for sliders and also showed me the different options for fog lights. I decided on the 0 degree sliders with kick outs and the rhino lining top plates, the quality of the sliders are top notch with very clean welds. I also went with the Baja Design fog lights in amber, light output is even without the harsh hot spots. Install took a couple hours and the entire staff made me feel at home and they took care of my truck like it was their own.
