Tried Cali Stack for the first time and it was great! Ordered a Double Stack, Hot Dog, Fries & Onion Rings to go. Waited about 20-25 mins which was reasonable based on how busy they were and the fact it was new. The food was hot & delicious when I got home. Credit to their packaging, let's the food vent (so no soggy fries) and yet keeps it hot. The staff was extremely friendly even though you could tell they were overwhelmed. The dinning room was spotless and the drink & condiment area was clean and well kept. Is it the best burger I've ever had...no...but still better than any fast food style in the area. We tried them for the first time. We were their last customer of the day. You could tell they had been busy, but they treated us like we were honored guests. Very great attitudes and probably the best burger I've ever had. No ingredient was more overpowering than the rest. Perfectly made. We had the Lakeside Stack Burger, the Dirty Stack Burger, and some fries. There was a lot of room in the dining room and a few tvs with a local game on. We were invited stay and eat there even though our food wasn't technically done until after they closed. We chose to take it to go, but did feel very welcomed to stay. We will definitely be back and hope they get a lot of good business. read more

I had the Cali Stack combo and it was quite good. My only recommendation would be to season the burger itself. Bun was good, the toppings were just right. Counter service was friendly and quick. It was a good place to stop in and grab a burger. I'll be back and try some other items. read more

Definitely coming back again! We got the crispy chicken sandwich, spicy stack burger and some fries. Meat was tender and juicy, perfect amount of spice and all the topping were fresh. Only thing I'll ask for next time is to make my fries a little more crispy. Other than that, the servers are kind and considerate and I think the owner was there to. Really good burger. Blue cheese was really heavy on the blue but really good. Not sure about the sweets potato fries they were limp and burnt . Maybe try them again maybe not. Regular fries were great. We will be back. I want to try the gyros burger! read more

Honestly worth the try! My boyfriend and I both got the Cali Stack Burger and in my opinion, it was incredible!! My boyfriend actually got terrible tummy cramps after his burger and I believe it's because the bacon was under cooked, hence the star removed. Best chili cheese in east county . I've tried the chili cheese hot dog, tater tots and fries, all really good. I like the fact that they don't add beans to the chili and that they give you plenty of chili and cheese on orders. The hamburgers are really good as well read more

I had the classic burger and the meat was flavorful and the tomatoes and lettuce were fresh but it was very very salty. I also didn't care for the sauce because they use but might have liked it if I could have tasted more than salt. The fries were overcooked and my grandson who loves fries refused to eat them. My other grandson ordered chicken strips and said they were very good. I will it it a second chance and hopefully it will be better next time. read more

Pretty good. NO complaints. I had the Gyro burger, but it only had the gyro flavor for the 1st couple of bites. The slices of red onion overpowered the tzatziki & gyro meat. My husband had the #1 cali-burger combo which had more flavor with the sauce, guac & bacon. We had the vanilla cream soda which was delightful & refreshing. The fries were delicious. The wait was okay, prices were reasonable. It would be nice to have the gyro burger taste like a gyro. Great that they have Beef hot dogs on the menu as well & gotta try the Philly Cheesesteak another time. They should have a Gyro hot dog on the menu. We'll surely go back & try more items. Didn't see root-beer float on the menu, that would be a good addition. The bathroom was nice & clean (the place is new, so that makes sense) although there was an air Fragrance that messed with enjoying food. Can't sit near the restroom for a good dining experience. They had a steady flow of customers & the dining area was full & the floor had gotten sticky shoe prints all over from soda spill. The doors were open, but that didn't help with air flow. It was warm & flies & gnats came in, so they need good A/C and a non-toxic remedy for flying pests. read more

We went to Cali Stack Burgers tonight for first time and I ordered the #1 burger on their menu . IT WAS DEEEELICIOUS from the very first bite!!! Very reasonable $$ compared to other Burger restaurants. They also sell Chicken sandwiches, soups , desserts, all beef hot dogs, Lots of sides too! 5 Stars for all categories FOOS, SERVICE, & AMBIANCE!
