I came here today for the first time and the service was a 10/10. The atmosphere of the whole place caught my eye. it was spacious, cool temperature and I really like how I didn't feel rushed while trying to decide what I wanted to eat. I tried #19, which is the chicken tender combo because they have so many options of different burger styles I couldn't decide what I wanted so I got something I could never go wrong with. The chicken tenders are so crunchy and juicy as well as their delicious French fries.. Okay, with food prices as high as they are today (and why is that anyway), going out to dinner or even getting take out doesn't come easy. That said, when you get that chance you expect good food and cooked the way you order it. Well, I gotta say we did get that from this restaurant. In fact, I'd say it was the worst burgers we've ever had. We phoned in a to go order, asked for two #2s one with egg both medium rare. We get home, mouth's watering and what a huge disappointment! Both burgers were black charred, well done and dry around the edges. And by the way, don't know for sure but isn't a fried egg supposed to be runny unless otherwise stated as it too was over hard ‍. We were really excited to try this place, because lakeside needed something new and by appearances and service we thought we found it. We wanted to like the food but everything was overcooked, over sauce and no flavor. We had both the burger and chicken and honestly I didn't eat much of it and tossed it. Fries reminded of Jack in the box fries when they tried this style and went back to their original. Maybe something to consider, but chains usually just stay with corporate ways of doing things. Having a burger joint that isn't fast food, or a bar, is long overdue in Lakeside. Dining area is super clean and the menu is varied and suits every picky ester in the family! Food is super tasty - the Cali sauce is delicious on both the burger and the chicken sandwich! Finally had the chance to try this place out after driving by a few times and let me say, They did not disappoint! As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the staff and I was recommended to try a few different things on the menu. First, I tried the Lakeside stack burger and that was one of my favorites! SO MUCH FLAVOR! Then I tried the Philly Cheese steak and that was delicious as well if you're not wanting a burger. Last was the Gyro stack burger (not pictured) this was different and oh my goodness this was another one of my favorites and worth a try! The tater tots are a must with the Cali sauce or ranch! I loved how many options were on the menu! The seating area is very clean with plenty of seating/high chairs. I would come back to try other items on the menu and 100% recommend this place. Tried Cali Stack for the first time and it was great! Ordered a Double Stack, Hot Dog, Fries & Onion Rings to go. Waited about 20-25 mins which was reasonable based on how busy they were and the fact it was new. The food was hot & delicious when I got home. Credit to their packaging, let's the food vent (so no soggy fries) and yet keeps it hot. The staff was extremely friendly even though you could tell they were overwhelmed. The dinning room was spotless and the drink & condiment area was clean and well kept. Is it the best burger I've ever had...no...but still better than any fast food style in the area. We tried them for the first time. We were their last customer of the day. You could tell they had been busy, but they treated us like we were honored guests. Very great attitudes and probably the best burger I've ever had. No ingredient was more overpowering than the rest. Perfectly made. We had the Lakeside Stack Burger, the Dirty Stack Burger, and some fries. There was a lot of room in the dining room and a few tvs with a local game on. We were invited stay and eat there even though our food wasn't technically done until after they closed. We chose to take it to go, but did feel very welcomed to stay. Definitely coming back again! We got the crispy chicken sandwich, spicy stack burger and some fries. Meat was tender and juicy, perfect amount of spice and all the topping were fresh. Only thing I'll ask for next time is to make my fries a little more crispy. Other than that, the servers are kind and considerate and I think the owner was there to. Honestly worth the try! My boyfriend and I both got the Cali Stack Burger and in my opinion, it was incredible!! My boyfriend actually got terrible tummy cramps after his burger and I believe it's because the bacon was under cooked, hence the star removed.
