Update: The manager called and apologized. He said there was a new point of sale program that caused the gap in service. I really wanted to like this place. We have been going here starting this year. We went I for a travel check at the beginning of July, all they said I needed was to clean some corrosion on my battery. I brought my in today for an oil change and tire rotation. They told me my battery was corroded again. When we explained that they had just preformed that service, they said they "must have done a bad job." Like, what?!? Next, they did not rotate my tires at all even though they charged us for one. We knew where the markings were and where a cap was missing. The service manager said "we were trying to trick them" and we needed "to trust them." So, they took off $25 off the bill and removed the charge for the service they never performed. read more

I came here after a break shop wasn't able to assist me in checking my breaks. The nice gentlemen in the front told me it would be a bit of a wait but I didnt mind. The lobby was very comfortable. The seats made you feel like you were sitting in your living room rather then a auto shop. No need to walk over to the dunkin donuts next door, they have a starbucks coffee machine with creamer provided as well as a fridge full of water. They also have a play area for the little ones and a mini dog park as well. They did an inspection, took photos and sent it to my phone for further reference. No pressure from the gentlemen reviewing the inspection at all. The bonus was them adding break fluid and power steering fluid to my car complimentary when they didn't have to. One of the worst places you can go to in Kingwood. Bring your 2002 Toyota here and it might be fine but any nice new car you bring they will fuck up. I have a pretty old car that I don't care about too much and any mechanic I take it to says it's mostly fine and doesn't recommend any fixes. Brought my mom's nicer and newer car into here that has very low mileage because it had some computer problem which just needed some sort of reset, the people at Caliber recommended 20 different fixes on the car! Okay cool I get it some mechanics like ripping people off but we just want the car's computer to get updated. It wasn't a big deal but as soon as I tell them to only fix the computer, they crash the car. Nice! They offer to fix it free of charge, how considerate, takes over a month to do slight bumper damage according to the workers. Did get a free rental but a month is insane. Anyways get the car back and the entire car is damaged. Mom is not happy. Sure there weren't any dents from what we can see but the entire car is scratched up! The car looked brand new when took it in the shop, the paint was perfect, now it isn't. They take it back in to fix. After a week or so we got the car back. Guess what, mom wasn't happy. There was some slight scratches still and one really noticeable one on the driver door. Mom doesn't want to trust her car with these people anymore so she takes it back home anyway. She wants to inspect the car and as soon as she opens the trunk she is bewildered. The ENTIRE trunk was FILLED with water. Why? We don't know. We get the water out ourselves and try to move on from the situation. A week later it has water in it again. It instantly clicks in my head "oh man, they did not give any shits when working on our car". They crashed our car, "fixed it", scratched up our car and when "fixing it" they didn't even make the bumper secure and it now has a gap somewhere that makes water leak into the trunk! Wow, you really couldn't have done a worse job than these guys. Had a professional look at our car a couple of days ago and said that every imaginable bolt on the bottom of car near the back bumper is missing and is surprised that it hasn't fallen off while driving yet. When I got the phone call saying the car got into an accident in the shop I wasn't too worried about it since they said they would fix it, so I thought hey it happens its only the first time we went there and it was just really unfortunate that happened to us but surely it will be fine and they will try to treat the car with better care. I was so wrong. They had 3 chances to do us right and not once did they try. Long story short never come here. Sure they work on the weekends but it's always better to get a good mechanic the next day rather than get a bad mechanic the same day. read more

If you're wondering what's wrong with your car. Take it here. They will do a full diagnostic on it and then tell you what all parts need to be changed. They will even show you what's parts are messed up! I do advise not to get your parts changed by them if you are wanting to save money and also have someone mechanically inclined to help you out on the parts for a way cheaper labor fee or even free. I do also have to say that their parts are pretty expensive mainly because they have a distributor that makes them tax their parts. I would buy your parts offline (do research on the brand before buying) and putting them on yourself. read more

They were super busy, but still took my car in. They close at 6:00 and was there until about 6:45-7:00. So thank you to those who stayed late for us. I was referred to Caliber Auto Care - Kingwood by my warranty company. I dropped my vehicle off on April 4, 2023. The repair was paid in full on 04/11/2023. I picked up my vehicle on 05/06/2023. This should have been a 10hr repair to the a/c evaporator core. Based on the repairs according to the shop, an a/c evacuation and recharge was required as a result of the repair. My issue isn't with the repair or the amount of time it took, its being dishonest. I was extremely understanding an patience until the service advisor started making up bs stories. The shop initially offered to pay for a rental and I declined. In the process of repairing my vehicle there was some visible damage to the dash. It was explained and a new dash was ordered. Due to some unforeseeable circumstances, I needed the rental for a few days, called the shop to let them know. I picked up the rental on April 04/20/2023 and returned it on 04/30/2023. Where the problem comes in at instead of the advisor saying hey Ms. Colon we inadvertently ordered the wrong dash for your vehicle and we need to reorder. The advisor tells me we have to reorder the dash because it was not a good fit for your vehicle and your warranty states if you don't turn in the rental car by 05/01/2023 you will have to pay for it out of pocket. Now I'm confused, my warranty company has absolutely nothing to do with the rental. He continues to let me know technically my vehicle is drivable therefore I need to come pick it up and bring it back when the dash comes in. I said if you don't wanna pay for the rental that's fine, just say that. Don't talk about how full your pockets are and then renege on a promise to a customer. I told him put it in writing your company damaged my vehicle, your company has ordered the needed part and your company is paying for all the expenses upon my return and it won't be a problem. Well, the advisor sent a letter but fall to directly include what I ask but instead tapped danced around the request. I in turn call my warranty company only to find, they had no clue the repair shop was still in possession of my vehicle. It appears the service advisor fall to let the warranty company know they had issues getting parts and they had damaged my vehicle. The warranty company advised me to not pick up my vehicle until all repairs were complete. When I attempted to voice this to the advisor he gonna tell me he speaking on behalf of my warranty company after she called them on my behalf while I was on the phone. Needless to say, he was torn a new one! I can understand anything you say, just don't lie about it and then get caught. This is not a place I would recommend to a friend nor would I utilize their services in the future. read more

So I definitely never thought I would enjoy getting my oil changed, it's always just been a chore that had to be done. Everyone at the front desk here is super friendly and personable, they're quick and direct with their options and what your car needs. They do a really cool photo inspection report that you have access to once they've completed it, and it lets you know everything that is either good, needs to be done now, or needs to be done soon. They have a play place for kids, a really nice lobby with a Starbucks coffee machine, a water fridge, and a dog park outside! I'll absolutely be going here for my car services from now on. read more

I'm sick and tired and thinking that you all can throw rental car vehicles at me and everything is going to be okay because it is not! I am very Feed up with the nonchalant attitudes, disrespectful comments, and unorganized procedures that you all are giving me about my vehicle. I'm tired of meeting new people about my truck and I'm tired of being told lies about my own truck these people had my truck 6 months before , even more time before that. You all half ass doing shit just to get by is not going to work with me at all!!!! My tires max recommended pressure is 32PSI but they put 40PSI in the tires.
