Have been coming here for years and always great service until yesterday. Came in at 12:20, for an simple oil change, didn't get out of there till after 2. Was 3 people when I came in, one lady ahead of me. They used to double check what kind of oil you used and would come out and talk to you about check they did. None of that was done. Cost was $88 plus, but since I complained he knocked $20 off. I won't be back. I don't know what has happened, who if it has been changed hands, but poor service. I told the young man behind counter how disappointed I was and wanted to talk to Manager and he said he wasn't there, I asked do you have a card and was told no, he goes to different store, finally got him to give me his first name, didn't know his last name. I went into this place expecting big things - but left feeling ripped off. All I wanted was an oil change at a reasonable price. Even with their 20% off coupon I paid more than if I had taken my vehicle to Honest-1, Meineke or similar automotive repair/maintenance place. Being newly opened, they had regional management on-site and the Director was extremely friendly. I appreciated her walking over to say hello and to thank me for using them. However, they will want to do a complete diagnostic on your vehicle to show you every little thing that is or could possibly go wrong and it took them an hour, plus. Just for an oil change! I appreciated the comprehensive review of the car but when I go in for an oil change I need it to be 30 minutes or less. That's reasonable and it's what I get at well-run automotive businesses. They weren't busy, I was the first one in but the diagnostic took a ton of time. The comprehensive diagnostic is nice to have but it feels like they are only doing it so they can upsell me on other services. Your customers aren't stupid, Service First. I will say that I told them I was going to go to Meineke to have my tires rotated because they were about $10 less than Service First, so they were kind and rotated them for me for free. I really appreciated that. However, overall I just wasn't that impressed with the service or pricing. Yes, the lobby is beautiful (per the other review- I'm wondering if it's by a real customer given all the pictures and glowing review) and having a nice waiting area is definitely a bonus but I feel like the extra $20-$30 I paid for my oil change went to help fund their "hotel lobby". read more

This year I took my husbands car, in the midst of a pandemic when business are hurting my inspection was on them. I asked why? Set an appointment, went right in. My little girls played on the little playground inside and had so much fun. Going in, I was nervous my teething baby would be so frustrating to the staff, but they had fun. The office staff even gave them a little toy when we left. Everything was really clean, service was fast! I thought if we get out in 40 minutes I'll be happy. In and out in 26 minutes for a safety and emissions test. It was awesome. Decided to give this new place a try. All I wanted was an oil change. Three times the agent came to me in the waiting area trying to upsell​ me. Finally, he accepted that I was not going to approve anything else and left me alone. When I got home there was an email waiting. All the things they wanted to do were listed with pictures. AND, there was a note that during service they had noticed that the power steering fluid was low and needed topping off. They didn't do that of course. This is a one and done for me. read more

When I pulled up I was greeted halfway across the parking lot by a friendly young man and told I should be done within 30 minutes (which was accurate). I took my car in for a tire repair. I made the appointment the day before for 1:00, and at precisely 1 o'clock I drove into the service bay and was assisted by the nicest employees. My request to remain in my vehicle due to the Covid crisis was accommodated and my repair was completed quickly and efficiently and surprisingly without charge! This was the cleanest and friendliest automotive facility I have ever experienced. I asked if they could do a couple mods to my car the messaged me back very quickly and was very kind about it. I called in and they answered my questions with no problem. These other reviews on here seem just like picky people who dont know what the foundation of a business is. One complain was up selling and yes even though it might be annoying its just a person trying to do their job and help you maybe fix something you didn't know you needed fixed. I ran across a great mechanic shop that actually keeps it real. Truly a honest place with a wealth of knowledge among them. Not a bunch of crooks like I'm used too like at other automotive places. I was so surprised that they didn't charge me an arm and leg for some simple turn wrenching. They even have a shuttle. So Freaking unheard of. Something like a unicorn. This is my second visit and i am extremely happy,they are very honest, quick, My wife car had problem starting, they check battery and alternator, and find our 2 small lights were on on trunk, no charge.i feel bad so i told them front hood doesn't stay up ,they told me go get the parts and they put them on,agin no CHARGE. I had a butterfly I had in my speedometer since my uncle had passed. I took it off his grave. I went today to get my oil changed and when I got my car back the butterfly was no where to be found. Of course they said no one had seen it and it wasn't there... I've had that butterfly in my speedometer for years. I'm heart broken and I will never be able to replace it. I echo the great things already said about this location. We brought my daughters car in after she said the engine was smoking. These guys got right on it and went above and beyond to try and diagnose and fix the issue. I left the vehicle with them but unfortunately, it couldn't be reproduced and hasn't happened again since. Weird but thinking something small got on the exhaust and didn't make it out alive. Regardless, the attention this place gave to us and the car was outstanding. They understood the importance of keeping my 16yo safe and didn't to make up a problem just to charge me. We have since been taking our vehicles to them for oil changes and if (knock on wood) anything else happens will be taking them back. Matt is the manager and was awesome. I don't recall the mechanic and the front desk attendant but they were great as well. Give this place a shot. You won't be disappointed. read more

Customer service is outstanding. They responded quickly and helpfully recently when we had a flat tire. They checked the tire right away and then sent us to another shop as they didn't have the tire in stock. Other shops we tried just said they were booked with appointments and would try to get to us as soon as they could - no promises. Sad to update this review to 1 star. We brought our car back because the a/c went out again. The store was busy and clearly didn't want our business. The Gm was rude to my husband and would not allow me to complete a sentence without interruption. He frustrated me by not answering my question and I dropped an f bomb during my sentence. He took that as an opportunity to tell us we had to leave. All because he stated the ac work they did in the past was on our Jeep and not our car. He was more focused on that than trying to just say they would look at the car anyway. He spent a lot of time insisting they could not be wrong and they scan and take pics of the vehicle. He was dead wrong. We found the receipt when we got home and it showed all of the work. Sad to say that this place has gone downhill and needs a serious customer service class. Oh and they were so busy but as we were leaving the workers had time to stand around in the garage and gossip about us. Loudly enough to where we could hear. So unprofessional. read more

Hands down the BEST experience I've ever had getting my oil changed!! Pristine lounge and great kids play area. My kids said it was better than McDonald's! Nice that water, tea, coffee, and hot chocolate are offered. They even have a tablet bar!! Literally tablets set up for you to use. One of my kids complained about being hungry and the staff went and bought them a snack!! Free of charge! Prices are reasonable. They went over a list of recommended things that needed to be replaced on my car but were never pushy into getting me to get them done right away. And they washed it, too! Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon for an oil change and expected to have to wait. Much to my surprise, no wait and they got me in and out in less than 45 minutes. Friendly staff and nice waiting area. Only draw back was they couldn't find my information in their system from the Custer store (temporarily closed) and so I had to give them all of my info again. Never got the email with the photos, etc. that I'm used to...thinking they maybe put the email address into their system incorrectly. Price was on par with dealer but much faster at getting the work done. Hope you'll re-open the Custer Road location soon as it is much closer to home for me. Service First Automotive was fantastic!! I went there with my kids because I called ahead and they said there was no wait. Turned out my kids would have preferred if there was a wait. They had a great time playing in their play area while I sat in there comfortable chairs! The service was wonderful. They were extremely helpful and courteous. I had my oil changed and state inspection. The oil change was very reasonable. Less expensive than the drive through place I used to go to, plus my kids weren't stuck waiting in the car. I brought my 2019 Dodge Journey to Caliber Auto in McKinney due to a popping sound while turning. Caliber provided a shuttle back home so I could continue working. Jeff was my contact at Caliber. After diagnostics, the CV Axle on the left was bad again. Huffines Dodge replaced the CV Axle in Plano just over a year ago. Jeff made many phone calls to determine if the previous service was still under warranty. Jeff was given the runaround by dodge. At first, it was out of warranty, but my third-party warranty said it was under warranty. Huffines could not get the part for three weeks and would not provide a rental car. Jeff and Caliber provided excellent customer service and repaired my Journey at no out-of-pocket cost. Caliber of McKinney has won a customer for life. I would recommend this team. This place is where you need to go for ANY automotive issues. Micheal was the first mechanic to approach me and I have never felt more safe leaving my car in the hands of a mechanic. He asked how I was doing, how he could help and he explained everything in much detail. He had a great smile and overall made me feel comfortable while I waited. There was a few issues with my vehicle plus I needed a state inspection. He let me know the options to fixing my Elantra and he was quick! We are from out of town and our driver's side rear tire was losing air. We saw Service First Automotive Centers on our way to drop off our 3 y.o. granddaughter to pre-school. When we walked in, we were surprised to see such a beautiful new building and the most friendly people at the front desk!
