I brought my Infiniti here to be repaired last week and had to have the door replaced, which they did a really good job with (Jairo was amazing, hence the extra star), but now the windshield fluid is not spraying out and the overhead console is hella damaged and the light covers are broken. This place sucks. They will always take longer than when your car is supposed to be ready by because a certain part for your car will always be on back order. Took my car in for an inspection after a fender bender. Jairo was my inspector and he was super friendly, transparent, and easy to work with. The customer service here, including the front desk, is very accommodating. As for the repair itself, I did have to bring my car back a couple of times because the initial work wasn't quite up to the standard I expected. I'm pretty nitpicky when it comes to my car, so I was surprised that a few issues were missed by the technician. That said, Caliber does offer a lifetime warranty on their work, so anything you notice after the initial repair can be brought back and corrected free of charge. The only downside is the inconvenience of having to return and wait again for those fixes to be completed. Overall, great customer service, but the repair quality required a few follow-ups. read more

I recently took my 2016 Corolla to Carson Caliber Collision and I can't emphasize enough what a great experience it was. My situation was a bit complicated. I previously had taken my car to another shop where they did a horrible job on the repairs. The bumper was improperly fitted and wouldn't clip back on as much as I tried, parts were missing or still dented, and there were a number of other issues that were overlooked. I refused to take my car back to that shop a third time (yes I had taken my car back to them to unsuccessfully fix these issues) and decided on taking my car to Caliber Collision instead. And my god I'm so glad I did. They were more than happy to take a look on the previous shop's work, listened to all my concerns, and address all of the problems with care and precision. Keith was my main point of communication and oversaw all the repairs. I cannot be more grateful for him. He made sure everything was handled perfectly, kept me informed throughout the process, and made me feel like he was truly working in my best interest. I really felt like I had someone advocating for me every step of the way. The attention to detail and craftsmanship in fixing what had been poorly done before was outstanding and the customer service was amazing. They use to be good however within the last 8 months they've gone down hill. I've Taking my car there twice to get repaired. They did a good job but this last repair was "not good". I tried contacting them, I also went there three times regarding this issue, they just gave me the runaround! They tried to to give me a quote for something they didn't fix correctly. I had to take my car to another car repair to repair what they couldn't and wouldn't take the time to repair. I will never use this auto body repair shop ever again. read more

I used Geico's Auto Repair Xpress service that offered a more "concierge" like service instead of using an unaffiliated body shop. Since most body shops work with most insurance companies pretty much in the same fashion, I didn't see any concerns with getting ripped off. Using this service also allowed me to select a rental car ahead of time and to have it dropped off at the body shop at the same time as I was dropping off my car - super convenient. I was also able to drop it off there when I picked up my car. As far as the service/repair at the body shop, Caliber is second to none in professionalism. My advisor Pete was available after a short wait, at the scheduled appointment time. The inspection/paperwork process was quick and efficient. Pete was friendly and helpful. The repairs were finished in the estimated time of 10 days. When it came time to pick up my car, I was amazed. My car looked like nothing had ever happened to it. On top of that, they had cleaned the whole car, vacuumed the interior, wiped down surfaces, did not expect that at all. And there's a lifetime warranty on the work, what?!! Never-ending nightmare! On October 7, 2022, I opened a claim through Geico insurance because my SUV was rear ended while parked with emergency brakes engaged. Immediately I noticed as noise coming from my brakes when baking up. I told Jairo Lopez, the service advisor who checked me in for repair. He assured me that they always check for damages underneath that may not be visible and that they do not only make cosmetic repairs. As the car went through the repair process, the advisor never mentions anything regarding any damage to my brakes. I reminded him several times via our texted communications and he again tells me they will take a look, only to find this never takes place and my car is returned with Jairo telling me they did not hear any noise when backing up. When I picked my SUV up there were other problems and things that were no done. The badge for the model of the car had not been place back on the back and was just lying in the cabin. I was not the correct badge for my model which is SEL and they had order SE. Also, later I find that the water reservoir for rear windshield wiper had not been reattached. Also, the paint job is off and so light you can tell it was repainted. Such frustration. Back to the rear brakes. I take my car to the dealership and right away they can hear a problem with something rubbing against my brakes. Before having them do any work, I contacted Caliber again to let them know what was found. I spoke with Diana who was supposed to be the manager. She was so unconcerned and absolutely no help at all. She told me, to have the dealer write something up to see if I could get it approved as if I had something to prove. Story short I went back to the dealer and they did fix the problem completely and when reported to Geico, the reimbursed my for the work that could have been taken care of by Caliber if they had only looked at my brakes. Now, here it is the end of March and I am still trying to get the warranty work done to fix my rear wiper and redo the paint job and no one is cooperating or returning my calls. read more

They are racist and unprofessional! I was 5mins late to my appointment because I'm suffering from an illness that's make is hard to get up some mornings. So with that and traffics combined I was slightly late, so the receptionist and the GEICO rep assigned to me argued with me for 15mins about being late and having to reschedule because he had a 9:30 appointment. I felt like the saw a black woman and decided they didn't even want to try and understand or help. I felt like they teamed up on me and instead just helping me out with my injured car they turned me away. I dispose this location. They need more diversity and better customer reps. Had my car repaired a year ago. Kept giving me fake "due" days it would be completed for the day to come to get no call of an update or anything. Once paid found out a sensor for my front windshield was not calibrated after driving off. Having to return right after already paying for a "finished" job. Just to recently find out at the dealership that they did not repair my window properly they did not put all the parts back in which cause it to mis function or slowly go up or down. I was also advised they did not put back multiple clips in my engine bay or for my hood. They did not even check to quality of the repair because how could they have not seen a sensor was not calibrated. If they drove the car & checked they would've seen the code. If I could give a 0 for bad customer service & quality of work I would. I was charged for a repair which was never properly completed. Just giving an update if possible would go from 0 to -1 now. Thankfully Toyota were able to replace all the missing parts caliber collision decided to leave off my car such as the clips. read more

Needed a collision repair due to the fact that someone hit me, came to Caliber because it was the only one near me at the time since I was in Carson due to work related. They made me come back and fourth knowingly that I live out of the city (an hour and 45 minutes away). Instead of telling me on the phone that they didn't have my parts they wasted my time coming up there,like seriously who does that. nice people,,the lady at front desk was awesome. i had them hold my vehicle in order to get my deductible of 1k ready,,,,i picked up my car and my brakes (which didn't sound like this) were making grinding noise i've never encountered in any car. The pads were fine, but they insisted they weren't. this was in January. As of now the drivers side, front bumper is now popping out. the panels under the car are coming apart. i had them look at it and they blamed that on me hitting something ,which never happened.They have a high volume of work and Maybe their quality control has diminished.
