nice people,,the lady at front desk was awesome. i had them hold my vehicle in order to get my deductible of 1k ready,,,,i picked up my car and my brakes (which didn't sound like this) were making grinding noise i've never encountered in any car. The pads were fine, but they insisted they weren't. this was in January. As of now the drivers side, front bumper is now popping out. the panels under the car are coming apart. i had them look at it and they blamed that on me hitting something ,which never happened.They have a high volume of work and Maybe their quality control has diminished. Needed a collision repair due to the fact that someone hit me, came to Caliber because it was the only one near me at the time since I was in Carson due to work related. They made me come back and fourth knowingly that I live out of the city (an hour and 45 minutes away). Instead of telling me on the phone that they didn't have my parts they wasted my time coming up there,like seriously who does that. Had my car repaired a year ago. Kept giving me fake "due" days it would be completed for the day to come to get no call of an update or anything. Once paid found out a sensor for my front windshield was not calibrated after driving off. Having to return right after already paying for a "finished" job. Just to recently find out at the dealership that they did not repair my window properly they did not put all the parts back in which cause it to mis function or slowly go up or down. I was also advised they did not put back multiple clips in my engine bay or for my hood. They did not even check to quality of the repair because how could they have not seen a sensor was not calibrated. If they drove the car & checked they would've seen the code. If I could give a 0 for bad customer service & quality of work I would. I was charged for a repair which was never properly completed. Just giving an update if possible would go from 0 to -1 now. I went to pick up my car from repair at the location in Carson, CA- on march 24,2022 going to my car I noticed calabor collision put new starches on the back end of my car. They did fix their damages. Always look at your car inside and out when you drop off and when you pick up. Look at your car real good, because they won't tell you they did new damage to your car. They have allot of car parts and cars parked all around their site, so it's easy for a car to get damage. read more

Excellent service!!! I was in an accident a month ago and was out of a car. Dealt with the insurance process and was finally able to take my car to the shop. Yelped and chose Caliber Collision since it was nearby with great reviews. Honestly, I had some reservations (not just with Caliber but with all repair shops) because I've heard horror stories about getting your car back from the shop with even more damages, etc. Stopped by on a Friday to sign some paperwork and by Monday, Darwin gave me a call with some estimates on cost, how long the repairs will take, and just some updates on my car. I was impressed! He always followed up with an email that summarized everything we talked about. Darwin called maybe every other day just to give me some updates - I truly appreciate that. I knew my car was in good hands. They estimated my car would be ready by the 28th but received a phone call that it would be ready a week earlier! Hooray! Getting into a car accident is overwhelming and quite inconvenient. Caliber made this entire process painless and easy. I was nervous about driving my car for the first time since my accident, but it actually feels better than ever! Sloppy/careless work. I was reffered to Calliber through my insurance so i trusted they would do a good job. I am so disappointed with their work, more so with their customer service. Car was taken back for repair THREE times after being "repaired". The manager, Diana Maldonado did not show any interest in assisting with my concerns. She hung up on me twice when asked for information and any time I called for updates she said she'd call back but didn't. I'd also like to add that ALL updates that we're provided during the repair were inaccurate. The app on my phone notifies me when there is any activity on the car​ such as car is unlocked/locked or engine starts and even when sensors were removed. Car showed no activity for 3 weeks but staff was informing me car was being worked on as a way to brush me off. Reached out to customer service, they stated the regional manager would reach out but haven't had a follow up yet. read more

Great place very professional from beginning to end. Came in to get my Camaro ZL1 fixed, and received day to day notifications as well as quick text messages with further information of my car. Awful customer service. Took vehicle down for an estimate and they told us were going to call us back with results and never did. Their rep told us to bring the vehicle back today before 6pm and when I took my car in they said they did not have us down for an appointment. They could not give me an idea of how long it would take for them to prepare an estimate. So I literally could wait for a month for all we know because they have no clue when they can get back with an estimate. What sort of business is this. Their front desk people all have convenient memory loss as who would book an appointment. Long story short version: it was raining, someone rear ended my brand new Passat... no major accident but "brand new"! I had an accident on September 5th and I had to leave my car here. A month passed and Gieco told me they were returning my car for insurance policy, they were giving me total loss so I was happy. When i went to go and pick up my TC Scion the inside of my trunk was opened and my tail was missing. Also my TC scion letters were missing. Also they guy was blaming me saying i was the one who took the car in with all these missing parts. He said he had pictures. I haven't seen the pictures yet. Worst experience so unprofessional I don't understand why they would be tampering with my car this way. The crash happend on the passenger side no point of taking my tail away. Took my car here after an accident because my insurance adjuster was there. After getting my claim I brought my car back the next week because they were busy. Two days later they tell me my car was taken to their Carson location. Did not receive any texts or call backs to let me know when my car was done. Went to pick up my car and they replaced my fog lights with a different front end style. I needed my car back so I didn't want to leave it there for another day or two to get that corrected. They did a great job on my damaged front end besides not replacing my fog lights. They claim to have called Goudy Honda and asked whether or not my car had fog lights but not me. So I drive my car off and parked it at work and notice that my air conditioning is still leaking. They were supposed to fix that also and did not. Negligent with customer service and half ass fix your car. They fix it to their liking. Lower their cost at any cost is their motto. Never again. read more

During the two weeks+ that Caliber has worked on my vehicle, Paul Brooks has been very efficient and consistent in giving me status update which was really helpful. On Fri, Aug 23 at 10am, Paul left me a message that my car will be ready at 3pm that same day. By around 5ish pm, I was already driving my car back home. On my way home, my tail light on my right went out and when I got home my brother noticed that the right rear fender liner was not placed. I texted Paul in the morning and he told me that he will reach out to me on Monday. Wednesday I took my vehicle back to Caliber and again Paul took care of my car and within an hour or less they were able to fix the car. He told me that I can reach out to him anytime if I get problems with the car again which was reassuring. If I am to rate Paul alone, I will probably give him 4-4.5 stars. I'm giving Caliber an overall of 2.5-3 stars because of poor custom service. People who receive calls should have excellent communications skills, are people person and must be empathetic to the person on the other line. Customers who call the shop are already in a lot of stress due to post car accidents, financial burden, transportation issues, and other hardships that they may have been experiencing because of car trouble. I did not get that kind of treatment when I called Caliber Collision. The lady I talked to was very cold and straightforward. She was also rude to my brother when he came to the shop to drop off the car. read more

This place is Ahh-mazing. I haven't written a review in a long time, but this place was definitely worth posting about. After I was rear-ended, I was frazzled and eager to get my car fixed asap. Read the great reviews on here and decided to give it a shot. Customer Service : The moment I walked in, I was immediately greeted by super friendly staff and they looked at my car right away. Danny took down my info, gave me a promise date within 2 weeks, but stated he will try to get my car done sooner. As the days went by, Danny texted me updates on my progress of my car. By the end of the week, Danny kept his word and my car was DONE within 1 week instead of 2! Results: My car looked amazing and my bumper looked brand-spankin' new! The detail of the colors matched perfectly with the rest of the car and not a dent in sight. Not to mention, they washed my car, and buffed out a few tar marks on my car. After being on the receiving end of a hit & run on the 405/710 in Los Angeles my car was towed to the closest collision specialist. At the time I didn't know how grateful I would be that the tow truck took my car to Caliber Collision in Long Beach/Carson. Not only was the staff extremely accommodating (even on a Saturday, when they were closed nonetheless) they were there for me every step of the way as I dealt with the aftermath of my accident. When my insurance agency impersonally called me and told me that my car had been "lost", Caliber was there to assure me that that wasn't the case and that my car was still in safe hands. After dealing again with the ups and downs of my insurance agency, Caliber again was the only one to help assure my car made it safely back to home in Los Angeles and even secured the tow truck to do so. Additionally, they ran a complete diagnosis on my car for free to help me understand the damage to my car. Overall, I can't recommend Caliber Collision on 223rd St enough. I went to my insurance site's recommended body shops so that the repair was guaranteed for the whole time I own my car. There were two, so I checked out the Yelp reviews. The other one had a total of 3 stars with LOTS of one star reviews. Caliber, however, had only 5 star reviews, so guess which one I chose? Well, Yelpers didn't let me down! The first time I worked with Jose "Jay" Urieta who is now at the Riverside location. He provided exceptional services therefore I reached out to him by e-mail after my accident and he told me he moved to the Riverside location but that he would reach out to Carson center and let them know I was coming their way. Best decision ... again! Robert initially worked with me in evaluating my vehicle, which took 15 minutes. He was friendly and came out to evaluate my vehicle and take pictures. After that, Mario Solorzano took care of my car and kept me updated throughout the process. He said my car would be ready Friday and it was. I especially appreciate their dedication and honesty with this information, as I only have one vehicle to transport to work and back, in addition I was paying for a rental out of pocket. So again, this was important to me. When I picked up my car, it look brand new. There were no gaps / spaces or loose pieces to my vehicle. The inside and outside of my car were clean.
