I've seen places like these all over Los Angeles, so I knew when I needed them, I would get a great service. Half of that is true. Two weeks prior to bringing my car and I went for an estimate. I really liked what I heard when it came to repairing to my doors: We can get it done in two days. Although my repairs were very minor, they did indeed to get it done in two days. That is very difficult to promise due to the fact that so much had to be done with my doors, putting them on and off and getting new clips for them. They did it. Very impressive. The problem came when my hopes to get it at the end of day on the second day were not met. It seems the issue was short staffing and my car fifth in line for a hand wash. I got the call about an hour before they closed, but I'm afraid it looked like I was going to lose money and not have my car for the night. Not good for my business. What made it worse is that I couldn't get it the next morning until a couple hours into the day, when I needed my car to drive a client to the airport. I was not very happy about that. I lost money to pay for this impressive job that I have to work harder for. It's hard to be pissed off about it because I'm thrilled for how amazing the job was done. I came in with a hood unable to close after I got an oil change at Toyota. I was very frustrated because Toyota told me I shouldn't really drive it anywhere because I'd be at risk of breaking my windshield. A couple months ago I took my car here for an estimate, followed by repair. This was my first time using the Comp part of my insurance so I wasn't sure what to expect. I called for an appointment here as my insurance company recommended this place and upon my arrival I was greeted by Mark whom I ended up working with through the entire process. I first received an estimate which seemed reasonable and very detailed. After the thumbs up from my insurance and easy coordination on that side, my car was in the hands of Mark and the Caliber team. The initial time frame quoted went over, but I was informed ahead of time. Best part of dealing with this company was communication. TERRIBLE. Calibur claimed my vehicle only had a broken strut and some fender damage but I knew I had experienced a lot of play in the steering wheel so I made sure to mention there was likely an issue with the steering column and to tell the mechanic before they started the repairs. After being told by Caliber that the vehicle was finished and safe to drive, I picked up the vehicle and immediately knew the vehicle was not test driven at all and definitely fully repaired as the steering column and wheel had a lot of play and movement. I was advised by Caliber to return the vehicle to their mechanic to do further investigation. I literally drove the car to the mechanic and drove him around the block to show the very clear banging noises and loose steering. I was then told by Carlos @ Caliber later that their mechanic declared the major steering issues I was experiencing were due to wear and tear and that they would not be included in the vehicle's insured repairs. I knew this was not true as the vehicle had never been in an accident and this issue was not present at all prior to the incident. To make things worse, it even seemed they were implying I was trying to get something unfairly. Calibur did a terrible inspection of the vehicle and now that the repairs were incomplete they wanted to pass that burden on to the customer. West Coast Toyota did the further investigation into the vehicle's damage and located obvious steering shaft damage that was related to the impact, not wear and tear. Even at the dealership Calibur tried to get involved and take a cut of the repairs from my insurance. This all caused more delays, confusion and I still don't have confidence in the repairs on my vehicle. Absolute nightmare repair scenario. read more

I've been to another location where I've had my previous vehicle towed to back in 2021. So I was familiar with their work for the most part. Then, a recent accident occurred mid-April & decided to take it back, but to this specific location since it was closer to where I live. Mun Pang was incredibly helpful & informative! He wanted to make sure first if everyone was okay when we were chatting & looking at the damages, getting the estimate. He assured that it would be done within the same week which I was surprised! Also, I was planning on getting an Uber/Lyft shortly afterwards to the nearest Enterprise location for our rental in the meantime, & Caliber Collision were already setting that up for which was so sweet! Literally like 5-10min later, a gentleman name Larry arrived from Enterprise & took me to the Cherry location Overall, my fiancé & I appreciated Mun's thorough communication throughout this process in keeping us updated on a daily basis. Because we know how it feels when businesses may leave customers in the dark, with no updates & no responses which could be very frustrating. Went in to fix in 2018 Tacoma that had front damage from an accident. Took longer than promised. They said 2 weeks... turned to one month. On top of that, I have to bring my truck back to them because their work is literally falling apart. My hood also wasn't properly aligned and have a 1 inch gap. They have to order a new hood but WHY DO I HAVE TO CALL THEM FOR UPDATES on the new hood and fender (falling apart)? It's been over two weeks and still no update. I once called to speak to Mark and they actually hung up on me! As a customer who paid over 9K for repairs, I feel that I shouldn't have to go through that. They did a mediocre job to sat the least and if I could do it over again, I would definitely not go there. CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!!! Would give them 0 stars if I could. read more

Went in and got my front end replaced. The job that was done was fast ( maybe too fast) and the bonus was that they vacuumed my car, however, when I got the car back they did not refill the Freon ( gas needed for the AC ) and the windshield wiper fluid. Inconvenience for sure! Currently in the waiting room and it has been an hour of watching Judge Judy and listening to them gossip with each other. They are fixing it... but this review is for everyone else to make sure that they run the ac for about 5 minutes before you drive off the lot and to check that windshield wiper fluid. I mean tbh they are billing the insurance for the freon, that stuff is not cheap at autozone, so you can only hope that other steps did not get overlooked. The crazy thing was that I mentioned to the Rep that a buddy had a job done at collision and the same thing happened... lol. And the waiting area does not protect you from shade... that is inhumane. Damn... just got the car back and it's cold but they forgot to service the windshield wiper fluid.. had Mark refill it and still didn't work, I'm being petty... I know but Mark had the good customer service, but he jumped on the phone and passed it off to the tech who very graciously jumped right on it. so they have that going for the. Hard to mess up being apologetic for missing windshield wiper fluid, but as it turns out the inserted the squirrel backwards. read more

Before I start this I want to say thank you to the man in the right side office who was kind to me and helped me with my bumper. I had been in an accident earlier this year where someone hit my car and I had it repaired here, as always they let you know if there are any issues you can bring it back. Well, my bumper started to fall off a little and I thought it was because of my accident earlier in the year so I brought it in. After inspection the man in the right side office told me I must have hit something because the bracket was broken. I don't know much about cars and I've gone over a few big potholes so I asked him what to do. He said if I buy the bracket he will put it on for me and it would take a quick 10 minutes. I was excited there was a quick fix and got the part ordered. Now, for the reason I'm leaving a 1 star review..I came in with the part and gave it to that same guy he was very kind and took my car in the back. I waited outside on my phone and then decided to sit inside. While inside the whole entire office proceeded to talk sh*t on me. "You're fixing Ryley's bumper" "Are you charging her" "I wouldn't fix that sh*t" and then the guy in the back desk said "yea f*ck her" which was a heavy hitter. I was sitting right there no idea how they couldn't see me but it was incredibly awkward. The girls were rude as hell & when they realized I was sitting there they started speaking in Spanish and laughing...to be honest I'm genuinely shocked the whole office was so negative and disrespectful. I don't know much about cars, I'm just a full time student trying to get by, if it was such an inconvenience I truly wouldn't have mind paying. Nobody deserves to be spoken about like that. You never know what someone's going through and it's disappointing that they feel so comfortable talking sh*t together and being just plain mean. To the guy in the right office thank you for being so kind to me and not joining in on the shit talking. I appreciate you being a good person. Always treat people kindly. Especially in a professional setting. & to the rest of the people in the office grow up, you're full grown adults acting like that. Imagine if that was your kid coming to take their car in.
