They are easy to work with and fast, but I'm not sure the quality of the work. Someone rear-ended me and scratched up the plastic bumper on my Chevy Traverse. Caliber replaced the bumper quickly, but then about a week later I realized the trailer hitch cover was just gone, disappeared into thin air. I never hit anything so it seems highly coincidental that a week after them installing the bumper, part of it fell off. It does seem like a bad design on the part of Chevy, but it also seems likely that upon installing it Caliber damaged some of the clips that hold in the trailer hitch, or else ordered a defective replacement bumper? Either way I emailed customer service, they told me to call the manager, I called and he wasn't in, then no one ever followed up and neither did I. I just let it go since it's not really proveable but wouldn't go back to Caliber again. Update: This location has a new manager, Ray, who called me and said he ordered a new hitch cover for me free of charge! I stopped by and he installed it himself, even used zip ties to make up for Chevy's poor design. Really impressive customer service and I like knowing they stand by their work. read more

My car was hit by another car after exiting off the freeway. Caliber coordinated everything with the Insurance Company. I walked in dropped off my car and they coordinated a rental pick for me. No thought involved. I opt'd in for daily text updates which were always sent to me every step of the way. I just got my car back today and it looks amazing. The body damage and audio issue has been fixed. My car was clean and detailed. Much better than when i dropped it off. The staff is friendly, informative and very efficient in what they do. I signed up for Yelp just so I could post this review: Getting into an accident is stressful, there's no doubt about that. Unfortunately, "life" has happened to me numerous times in the past couple of years. I'm somewhat new to LA so I was nervous about finding a repair shop that I could trust. Jay, Steve and the entire team at Caliber Collision on Robertson Blvd. has completely eased my mind. This is the 3rd time (I know that's high) for working with Jay, and every occasion has been a blessing. He shows a genuine interest in me as a person, truly cares about the quality and service related to my vehicle, communicates impeccably (through text) keeping me updated on when my car will be ready to go, and he does everything with a positive attitude. This man is a true professional and excellent at his job. I know it sounds cliche, but I feel much more at ease knowing I have his support during situations like this. LIFE HAPPENS. When Jay suffered an injury and couldn't make it in, I was fortunate enough to deal with Steve the manager. I was panicked, my car was a mess, and it was the second accident in just a few months so you can imagine my anxiety levels. I went today just for a few minutes because I had dropped my (probably most expensive thing I own) ring not only between the seat but through this weird hole that goes underneath the rug itself. Not only did we get a chuckle out of the odds that it fell there but were also super friendly. The gentleman got it out in just few seconds. No charge. Nice people. First of all, I have used Caliber in the past at other locations and have had really good experiences. However, this time I had a terrible experience. I brought my car in to Caliber at the Wilcox location (On a Wednesday morning). They let me know that I would have an estimate within 24-48 hours. The next day I was informed that they had to move it to a different location. It was late on Friday (2 days later) that I was wondering where the car was and I called and left a message, but no call back. On Monday morning (they are closed weekends) I called Caliber again and they at first could not find my claim. Then after a while, they found my claim and they told me that I had to call the Robertson location to find out about my car since it had been moved there the previous Thursday (4 days earlier). So I called Robertson and spoke with someone (I think Ray?) and I expressed my frustration that they had my car for 4 days but no one has called me to let me know or give me any updates. He apologized and promised that he or someone would get back to me by the end of the day. I received no call on Monday as promised. No call on Tuesday either. For some reason, there is a complete willingness to communicate, even after expressing my concerns. Not sure whats happening at this location, but this certainly isn't for me. I am gladly paying the $150 to have the car moved to another body shop because I can only imagine that there would be better communication pretty much anywhere else, since here there was literally zero communication. read more

Had a rear bumper on a Lexus that needed replacing. Went to several shops until I met with Art at Caliber. He was very professional, knew what he was talking about and handled the issue with great care. He warned me that there may be some extras because once they took the bumper off, there may be broken brackets or the light may break out. There were no extras which is one reason I trust them. I was rare-ended a few months ago. The damage on the rare bumper wasn't severe and my insurance covered it since the driver was uninsured. Caliber fixed the body work and the car looked perfect. I picked up the car and went to dinner that night. Unfortunately, after dinner, I discover a large scratch on the back door that was one and a half feet long. It was clearly an intentional scratch done when I was parked on the street at night. I took the car back to Caliber to see about getting the scratch fixed out of my own pocket. The gentlemen who work there were so nice. They buffed the scratch out on the spot and didn't charge me. I think they just wanted to help and probably felt bad because I was just there for a repair. Luckily, while it looked bad, the scratch did not go under the paint level and could be buffed out. I appreciate the friendly, quality service and highly recommend the place. read more

I was dealing with the other person's insurance, and we didn't have all the information we needed, but Caliber were very professional and helpful. Jay and Laura spent the time to get in touch with the insurance and authorize everything on the spot so I wouldn't have to go and come back. I will update this review with the results of the repairs, but the experience is really top notch. They make an effort to take care of their customers and accommodate them however they can. Ray helped me out when my car was rear ended in a parking lot. The person who hit me wanted to pay for repairs with cash/not insurance, so there was a need to have a lot of back and forth communication with updates on prices after initial look, then after getting the bumper off, coming back again another day after discussing, etc. Through it all Ray could not have been more accommodating toward my circumstances and did a great job in keeping me informed of progress by phone and email. This shop is dishonest. I was recently in a major rear end collision. There was substantial damage to my Mercedes. I knew it was going to be a total, as the car was in great condition and low miles--but CarGuru showed its value to be about $31,000. Ray Mahjoli, the manager, first told me the damage would be "about $10-11,000". I knew this was too little to total the car, and agreed to let them repair. Thereafter, he said there would be '$3200" in additional repairs, bringing the total to "$14,000 and change". He never got authority to repair beyond this, as i left the country on vacation. Caliber kept my vehicle over two months! When I went to pick it up, he would not give me the final bill, but instead was crowing about what a great job they did. Someone else's tote bag was in my trunk, showing the vehicle had been used. He denied knowing anything about it. Then, the bill was $22,000!!!!! Of course, at this sum, the vehicle should have been totaled from the start. They simply went ahead and did repairs without my permission. Now, I am only able to sell this car for $20,000, meaning their efforts have cost me OVER $11,000. DO NOT use this shop. read more
