Highly recommend when involved in a accident and repairs are Needed. Don't bring it here I recommend taking your car to the dealership. Using original parts and having factory professionals look over your car is important. The dealership will give you a excellent warranty and stand by their work. My Honda Accord was hit on the passenger front door by a vehicle merging into the left lane. There was significant damage resulting in replacing the door, trim and re painting. Needed some work done on front left side after scraping stucco pulling into garage. was referred to Caliber by my insurance company (Nationwide) and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Marilyn coordinated the appointment to drop off the car and also with Enterprise to reserve a rental car. Check in process went super smooth and had my car in and a rental from Enterprise quickly. These guys are great, I got rear ended just sitting at a red light in my car that wasn't even a year old and they did a great job. My 2016 mx-5 Miata was so sad looking when I dropped it off, I couldn't believe someone smashed into me and messed my car up. The back was fugged, trunk wouldn't close and the rails were cracked. Dropped it off and they said 3 weeks and that was exactly how long it took. Grant called me twice a week with updates which was so nice to hear progress, and if anything was going to cost more he'd tell me right away. Paint job was excellent, couldn't tell a difference and it drives like new! Great place, hopefully I don't need to take my car here again but if I do I'll definitely take it here and not somewhere else! read more

I was met Emily White who was timely and responsive from the very first throughout the entire period from first meeting until I picked up my fully restored vehicle. The preliminary estimate was revised, but not unreasonably and the repair period, initially estimated as eight days was accomplished in five days with great workmanship. The wifeys BMW needed a front bumper repair and was recommended to this place by my colleague. Swore up and down about the service. I'm speaking of the Kearny Location btw. Well guess what...he was right! Go see Ben Lagutan. He was our service advisor at this location and provided us excellent service. On the day of my appointment, Ben was great at explaining the whole repair process. Dropping off the car was quick and hassle free. Ben also provided me transport to the nearby Enterprise to grab my rental. Want to know what's best about my experience at Caliber Collision Kearny? I received my wife's car sooner than estimated and in pristine condition! Ben estimated a week out but got wifeys car back in 4 days! Couldn't even tell there was a repair. Lines and paint matched perfectly. Car was washed and vacuumed. He even addressed an issue with the rear driver's side door that I was unaware of. I was driving on the freeway with my kids when my car started smoking and smelled like something was burning. Once we pulled over safely, I saw that the under shield had fallen off and was scraping the floor. In a panic, I just looked on google Maps for the closest car body shop. I called Caliber Collision in Kearny Mesa. The gentleman that answered the phone was very kind and said I could bring my car so they can take a look. Once I arrived, I was extremely impressed by everyone. The lady at the reception desk, the owner/ manager of the shop. Two experts helped me, the first one was a young man who got immediately on the floor and tried to fix it (I didn't get his name) and the second one was Todd Phelps, who took the car and fixed it for us. I was so impressed and so touched by everyone's willingness to help, making sure that the kids and I were safe, and taking the time to repair the car without an appointment. So after several visits to several Caliber collision shops in South Carolina I was left with my truck being worse off than before the accident. I moved to San Diego and immediately began working with David Lopez on making sure my truck was fixed correctly for the last time. The wait was well worth it. David kept me updated and sent photos as they repaired my vehicle. They even went out of there way to fix damages not related to the accident or damages from previous Caliber shops in South Carolina. I can't speak highly enough of David Lopez and his team. They went out of their way to make sure my 2008 F250 look like showroom condition. If you want a shop that will do a perfect job and keep you in mind then look no further. They also paid for my rental and made sure I was good to go. Dont go anywhere else but this specific Caliber. I had an excellent experience with Todd at Caliber. On the day I went to drop off my car, it was pouring rain and I was stressed about getting my rental with my two toddlers and their carseats. The crew at Caliber offered to drop me off at Enterprise. He waited until I was all situated and even helped get the carseats configured in the rental while it was raining. He then took my damaged car back to Caliber for me and they went to work. They kept me informed the entire process and it was done a lot faster than I expected. Once it was done they were super accommodating with picking up the car. I was worried that the custom door protectors wouldn't be matched with the other side that wasn't damaged and they were perfect. The paint job was perfect, and the interior was cleaned as well. Gina runs the front end for Caliber. She is personable, friendly, and fast to pull up paperwork and get you going. My Farmers Insurance agent had recommended Caliber. My Prius needed the fender popped out after someone hit me while I was stopped at a traffic light. Fast forward 6 years, and the bumper needed to be reattached on one side. I just got my vehicle back from Caliber Collision on Dagget st. It had been hit while it was parked and just scratched the bumper up really bad. Anyhow the whole process was super easy. I sent a few photos and brought my car in. David went over the whole process with me and explained everything. Even though the bumper was scratched (which I figured would just be some touch up paint) they still did a very thorough job and took the bumper off, looked for any damage we might not be able to see and then they repainted the entire bumper. It looks like it's brand new. I got text message updates regularly and they even took me to the rental car place to get my rental. Seamless and easy.
