Monie at Caliber was so helpful when I recently came to the shop. A forklift accidentally dented my car on the worksite and I was afraid that it would take too long to get it fixed, but Monie reassured me that it can be done faster than I anticipated, and also was easy to communicate with in terms of scheduling. I had my car back sooner than I thought and the repair was flawless. I will definitely be contacting Monie again for all my collision needs -Damien Manzano read more

Highly recommend when involved in a accident and repairs are Needed. Don't bring it here I recommend taking your car to the dealership. Using original parts and having factory professionals look over your car is important. The dealership will give you a excellent warranty and stand by their work. I made the mistake of going to a Geico authorized collision repair center. Bad call. My alignment is off and issues are coming up. Now I'm getting excuses Smh. Got into a fender bender while on vacation in another state. Didn't want to go through the hassle of repairs while with the family away from home. Went to the Texas location, got a quick estimate and was able to bring it to this location 3 months later to get the work completed. Their ability to completely work around my demanding work schedule with no questions or issues really stands out to me. I can see why they have so many good reviews. The work was amazing too. This is my first brand new car, and they were able to completely restore it back to new. From an unsightly eye sore back to brand new. I'm very impressed. This is one of those places where you hope you never need it, but when you do, you're glad they're there. read more

My car needed some paint repair and I returned to Caliber. Tony quickly assessed the area and informed the paint repair fell under their lifetime warranty. Marilyn set up an appointment and I dropped the car off the next week. Alex was my contact and did a terrific job of updating me frequently. A few days later I picked up my car and the paint repair was flawless!! Had I not known the damaged area I never would have found it. You're taken care of as if you're part of the family at this Caliber location. Highly recommend!! read more

We just got a new car, and of course, we ended up having an accident that dented and scraped up one of our doors. We took it to Caliber in Kearny Mesa. Jose, our service rep, did an amazing job. He was friendly and professional and kept me in the loop every step of the way. Not to mention that the team got our car repaired way before the deadline. read more

These guys are great, I got rear ended just sitting at a red light in my car that wasn't even a year old and they did a great job. My 2016 mx-5 Miata was so sad looking when I dropped it off, I couldn't believe someone smashed into me and messed my car up. The back was fugged, trunk wouldn't close and the rails were cracked. Dropped it off and they said 3 weeks and that was exactly how long it took. Grant called me twice a week with updates which was so nice to hear progress, and if anything was going to cost more he'd tell me right away. Paint job was excellent, couldn't tell a difference and it drives like new! Great place, hopefully I don't need to take my car here again but if I do I'll definitely take it here and not somewhere else! read more

I took my vehicle to Caliber Collision on Dagget after getting two other estimates. I was met Emily White who was timely and responsive from the very first throughout the entire period from first meeting until I picked up my fully restored vehicle. The preliminary estimate was revised, but not unreasonably and the repair period, initially estimated as eight days was accomplished in five days with great workmanship. I am very, very pleased and would return without question. read more

Needed some work done on front left side after scraping stucco pulling into garage. was referred to Caliber by my insurance company (Nationwide) and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Marilyn coordinated the appointment to drop off the car and also with Enterprise to reserve a rental car. Check in process went super smooth and had my car in and a rental from Enterprise quickly. Jose was my Service Advisor and he was on top of it. Under the category of Underpromise/Overdeliver I was expecting to have car back in 7-10 days but then got call from him that it was ready on the 4th day because one of their Techs stayed late to finish off the job. Everything on the car fixed and looks great! They worked seamlessly with Nationwide to minimize any insurance hassles for me. Thanks to entire team over at Caliber - definitely recommended! read more

The wifeys BMW needed a front bumper repair and was recommended to this place by my colleague. Swore up and down about the service. I'm speaking of the Kearny Location btw. Well guess what...he was right! Go see Ben Lagutan. He was our service advisor at this location and provided us excellent service. On the day of my appointment, Ben was great at explaining the whole repair process. Dropping off the car was quick and hassle free. Ben also provided me transport to the nearby Enterprise to grab my rental. Want to know what's best about my experience at Caliber Collision Kearny? I received my wife's car sooner than estimated and in pristine condition! Ben estimated a week out but got wifeys car back in 4 days! Couldn't even tell there was a repair. Lines and paint matched perfectly. Car was washed and vacuumed. He even addressed an issue with the rear driver's side door that I was unaware of. My overall experience with Caliber Collision was awesome. I will be referring everyone to you guys. Thank you Ben for providing such excellent customer service read more

My car was hit, a minor collision, but needed to be fixed. I looked online and chose this location because it had the highest ratings. Now I know why. Honestly, they could not have made it easier. Marilyn at the front desk was friendly and helpful each time we spoke. My car was assigned to Christian, who couldn't have been nicer or easier to work with. He pushed things through so that my car was done in 5 days, even though the original estimate was 7-10 days. I hope I never need to go to a body shop again! But if I do, or if anyone asks me for a recommendation, this is absolutely the place! read more

So after several visits to several Caliber collision shops in South Carolina I was left with my truck being worse off than before the accident. I moved to San Diego and immediately began working with David Lopez on making sure my truck was fixed correctly for the last time. The wait was well worth it. David kept me updated and sent photos as they repaired my vehicle. They even went out of there way to fix damages not related to the accident or damages from previous Caliber shops in South Carolina. I can't speak highly enough of David Lopez and his team. They went out of their way to make sure my 2008 F250 look like showroom condition. If you want a shop that will do a perfect job and keep you in mind then look no further. They also paid for my rental and made sure I was good to go. Dont go anywhere else but this specific Caliber. I for sure will use them again for other jobs as well. #1 shop in my opinion. Be sure to ask for David Lopez as your service advisor too! read more

Gina runs the front end for Caliber. She is personable, friendly, and fast to pull up paperwork and get you going. My Farmers Insurance agent had recommended Caliber. I just got my vehicle back from Caliber Collision on Dagget st. It had been hit while it was parked and just scratched the bumper up really bad. Anyhow the whole process was super easy. I sent a few photos and brought my car in. David went over the whole process with me and explained everything. Even though the bumper was scratched (which I figured would just be some touch up paint) they still did a very thorough job and took the bumper off, looked for any damage we might not be able to see and then they repainted the entire bumper. It looks like it's brand new. I got text message updates regularly and they even took me to the rental car place to get my rental. Seamless and easy. My car looks fantastic and I would definitely go back but I hope I never need to! read more

The service here reminds me of the service I used to see my parents experiencing when they would patronize their friend's businesses. I had a minor collision, Joe looked at my car asked if he could try to rub out the scrapes, I gave the okay. He was able to remove the paint transfer from my car. There is a slight dent and he gave me the option to have the minor dents taken care of or not. I felt it looked great with him rubbing out the paint transfer. There was no charge, yet he did provide a service. I was super impressed and highly recommend. read more

I was driving on the freeway with my kids when my car started smoking and smelled like something was burning. Once we pulled over safely, I saw that the under shield had fallen off and was scraping the floor. In a panic, I just looked on google Maps for the closest car body shop. I called Caliber Collision in Kearny Mesa. The gentleman that answered the phone was very kind and said I could bring my car so they can take a look. Once I arrived, I was extremely impressed by everyone. The lady at the reception desk, the owner/ manager of the shop. Two experts helped me, the first one was a young man who got immediately on the floor and tried to fix it (I didn't get his name) and the second one was Todd Phelps, who took the car and fixed it for us. I was so impressed and so touched by everyone's willingness to help, making sure that the kids and I were safe, and taking the time to repair the car without an appointment. They were all extremely professional. Todd Phelps, god bless him, really was amazing. I recommend this place 200% and won't be going anywhere else from now on. read more

Alex was great. Great communication and my car looks like new again. I highly recommend

I had an excellent experience with Todd at Caliber. On the day I went to drop off my car, it was pouring rain and I was stressed about getting my rental with my two toddlers and their carseats. The crew at Caliber offered to drop me off at Enterprise. He waited until I was all situated and even helped get the carseats configured in the rental while it was raining. He then took my damaged car back to Caliber for me and they went to work. They kept me informed the entire process and it was done a lot faster than I expected. Once it was done they were super accommodating with picking up the car. I was worried that the custom door protectors wouldn't be matched with the other side that wasn't damaged and they were perfect. The paint job was perfect, and the interior was cleaned as well. I was very happy with my overall experience. Thank you Todd and team! read more
