The service here reminds me of the service I used to see my parents experiencing when they would patronize their friend's businesses. I had a minor collision, Joe looked at my car asked if he could try to rub out the scrapes, I gave the okay. He was able to remove the paint transfer from my car. There is a slight dent and he gave me the option to have the minor dents taken care of or not. I felt it looked great with him rubbing out the paint transfer. The entire process from start to finish was easy. Emily was the person assigned to my truck repairs and I really appreciated her communication throughout the entire process. My car had never gotten collision work prior to this visit, so I didn't know how to go about filing a claim. The receptionist and Daniel helped me through the process. So there was a positive that came out of me hitting a car... Caliber Collision. They were recommended by my insurance company and I could not have been happier with the entire experience. From the moment I walked in the door to when I picked up my car a little over a week later, their service was amazing. And my car, it looked better than when I took it in, only 2 months after having has it repainted. I rented a car and instead of making me wait for the rental company to come get me (20 mins), Ben dropped me off on his way home. Then, to return the rental, I drove to Caliber and left it there. They took over the entire return process! Their service was outstanding! Being a 2007, my car was not exactly new and there was a good chance insurance would not pay to have it repaired. This was my second experience with Caliber. The first experience was about 8 years ago and went smoothly and the service was great but nothing tops this trip! From the time I made the appointment over the phone to the moment I drove off the lot with my fixed car everything was better than great! Jabarri and a female got me all checked in. I think she was training him and they were both awesome. I need a hip so they let me sit in the lobby and they brought the paper work for me to sign. They knew I had to go get the rental car so they explained what they needed in a timely efficient manner and we were done. Side note-when I dropped my keys Jabarri picked them up for me because of the hip issue. Not his job to pick up my keys-just a super nice guy. Grant went over the details of the repair with me. Nice well spoken man. They are a USAA authorized repair facility so USAA had already sent them the estimate but he let me know he would keep me apprised of any damage they may find after they got under the hood. Grant called me to let me know there was a bit more damage and it may take a week to repair. I was thankful for the extra time they took to make sure things were right. Grant called me 5 days earlier than expected to let me know my car was ready. I absolutely hated the rental car I got from Enterprise so this was great news!!! THE BEST PART- I went to pick up my car right when they opened. They pulled the car up front so I could easily inspect it. Everyone who walked by checked to see if I needed anything. MILTON-who I had never met approached me and asked if everything looked ok with the car. Turns out he is the guy who cleaned it up and made sure it was ready to go. MY CAR WAS CLEANER THAN WHEN I BROUGHT IT IN. I was scheduled to get my car detailed on the inside next week and NOW I DON'T HAVE TO THANKS TO MILTON! My car looks amazing. I don't know who repaired it -whomever they are it looks great. I am just floored about the cleaning they did. What a great service. I said hi and she said she would be with me in a second and continued typing on her computer. Then as i stood there and continued to wait while she typed she took calls and helped people on the phone . She never once asked why i was in. I went and asked someone else for help and they didn't help either and Jenny just stayed helping any call that came in instead of me. Then when she felt she was ready she called me up. I had a not so great road trip to the Midwest that I had to take. On the return trip, I had a run-in with a coyote/fox/doglike beast in Colorado, then a run-in with a jackass in California. I researched the body shops that honor Geico's lifetime warranty, and chose Caliber-Dagget. I certainly believe this was a good choice. Since the car is only 2 years old and very low mileage, I wanted to have Honda original parts used rather than after-market. I called Caliber a couple of times to find out how this could be accomplished and they were very polite and helpful. The shop was able to schedule for me to come in right away (given things I had going on I waited a few days though). Caliber had assigned Ben as the adviser that I would work with. If all of their employees are like Ben, then they have done a great job with staffing. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and seems to understand that customers are what the business needs to be successful. Caliber (and Ben) kept me informed on what to expect, when to expect it, and they kept to what they promised. The quality of work that they did is wonderful. They used very little body filler, they did a great job matching paint, and Ben worked with me on using only Honda parts for very little extra money. When I picked up the car, there were two items that I asked to be adjusted for alignment (I felt they were slightly out). Without question, Ben took the car back and they made the adjustments right then (took about about 20 minutes). For me, one of the most telling signs of good vs. bad businesses is how they handle any type of "issue" that customers have - Caliber is definitely wonderful. Summary, Mercedes Benz 2013, diamond paint job, fully loaded , immaculate , AMG package, "I Love my car and am far from a rich, believe me". 3 months after buying a Taco truck backed into the bumper, it popped back out but paint damage was done. Broke my heart for a few moons. It's under warranty from MB dealership in Escondido. Even the paint and interior has a separate 10 year warranty.... I would get royal treatment at Benz dealership in Escondido. I didn't want to drive there, Caliber Collision was 8 mins from work, Dagget St location, turned my car in Wed at 130, it was ready for pickup at Friday 5:00 pm!!!! Wow, and the Benz looks amazing. They matched the paint job perfectly, washed the car, tires were shiny! Vacuumed! This was not a regular fix, bumper with advanced electronic radar sensors, and precision work required to replace chrome molded LED lights, speciality work basically and they did it like it was easy. I was skeptical about my laziness in not letting the Mercedes Benz dealership handle a car like this but now I am more than happy in the experience. My first real Yelp review cause these guys deserve it. You get email alerts, the advisor always kept me up on the latest little details. And also the estimated due date was 3 days away!!! This repair shop was recommended to me by my insurance company and I checked the company reviews on Yelp and decided to go for it. As soon as I filed a claim, Caliber Collision called me to schedule an appointment to inspect my vehicle. They were able to give me an appointment within a few days. Customer service, from every employee I encountered during the repair process was very good and professional. I was explained all the steps of the process as we walked around my car during the initial inspection and I knew what to expect. The repair was performed in a timely manner, as promised. I like that this location works with nearby car rental company Enterprise so scheduling to pick up the rental and then drop it off was easy and convenient. This review is long overdue by a couple months! One of my fleet vehicles had damage from two separate accidents, it is used everyday so to take it out of the rotation for body repair is devastating to my schedule! I brought the van to Caliber Collision and Francisco was my adjuster. I explained to him that I needed the van back asap due to my schedule of clients. Francisco was honest and up front, telling me that with all the work that needed to be done it could take two weeks! I want to cry hearing that, but I knew it had to be done. He took my van in and started work right away. He called me EVERYDAY with updates letting me know the progress, it really put me at ease knowing that work was moving along. One week into the repairs I got a call from Francisco telling me that it was all done and ready to pick up! I almost fell out of my chair from excitement. Not only was I getting it back sooner than expected they even arranged to pick me up so that I could come and get it. The van was beautiful, back to new and you couldn't even tell it had damage. I even found out that Francisco spent time removing the entire vehicle wrap, in between his appointments to help speed the repairs along. The right front side of my car had been hit by someone and I didn't know it until I inspected the outside of my car right before I was going to get it detailed. After talking to my Farmers Insurance agent about the damage, she suggested three repair places that Farmers uses, one of them being Caliber Collision. Of the three, she said that even before she worked for Farmers, she always took her own car to Caliber Collision. Of the three repair shops, Todd Phelps at Caliber Collision was the one who worked with my insurance agent to give me the best price (so that my insurance wouldn't go up) and little did I know that his price included fixing some black marks and gashes on my white car that were near the new dents, but had previously existed. Todd also guaranteed that my car would be ready in 4 days (again so that my insurance rates wouldn't increase.) He kept his word about everything. I just picked up my car and it is beautiful! Before I left, Todd told me that if I pick up some touch up paint and come back to Caliber, he will personally touch up some scratches on my side mirrors and a black spot on my rear bumper. He also gave me a voucher to get my car buffed for free after I wait 30 days. I must say that it helps to have an Insurance Agent who stays on top of things and follows through. On the day that I began working with Todd, he started feeling not well and he ended up being away from work with Covid for a month. He came back too soon and then had to be off of work another couple of weeks. My car was driveable, so I was able to be patient. My insurance agent kept in touch with Caliber so she could let me know what was going on. In the end, it all worked out well and I couldn't be happier. I came to Caliber Collision Centers, because the person who hit my car had this as a "preferred" repair shop via their insurance. They seemed to be very legitimate based on their size and reviews. Enter the worst repair shop experience ever. It just so happens I needed to get to the airport in a hurry, and of course this was the same time I needed to bring the car in the to shop. I get to the shop, and tell them I'm in a huge hurry. I apologized, but these things happen. A lady walks out, and even though I can't remember her name, I'll sure never forget her. She starts looking over the car, takes a few minutes, takes a few pictures, yada yada yada. Then she looks at the mileage on the car, and notices that some of my storage pockets in the car have a bunch of quarters in them. She then demands I get every single piece of change out of the car, or else she can't except the car. I told her that I'd sign anything she wanted regarding the "not responsible for stolen" blah blah blah. No, she makes me get a bunch of stuff out of my car, and transfer it to my sister's car, even though she KNOWS I had to leave, like 5 minutes ago. So I finally get out of there, and make my business flight. I don't hear anything from this shop for over a week. I finally call them, left a message, got a call back the next day, telling me they had the quote done. So, it turns out, after a week, they had just quoted the damage on the car, even though I wasn't paying for it (other persons' insurance). I told her I needed the car in 6 days, and it HAD to be ready. I get back into town, and they finish a $600 paint/scrape job in the blazing fast time of just under 2 fucking weeks. Not that it mattered, because I was out of town, but come on. I come to review the car with the claims adjuster, and she said they painted a extra little curbside scuff that was on the other side of the bumper. That was definitely nice of them. Then I notice that theres a huge paint crack right on the side of the bumper they were working on. After arguing with the claims adjuster, and her manager for about 30 minutes, they refused to admit that they caused this. I know every chip, scratch, and dent on my car, and theres no way I would have not noticed that. Bottom line, worst repair service I've ever received. Come here if you think McDonalds makes a real cheeseburger. read more

I was sent here by USAA to get a smashed window and car door fixed. If USAA uses a shop that is always a good sign. I had it fixed in one day and was on my way. Today, nearly 2 years later the window won't go down. I call and they tell me to bring it in. Bo, the manager comes out and says "Let's have a look." They pull the door apart, find out the motor/regulator has failed. They order a new one, charge me only the part cost and put it back together with no labor charges. But they surely made this task easy, convenient and pleasant. Yes, I did say taking my car in for repairs was a pleasant experience. Caliber Collisions receives 5 stars for customer service and efficiency. I'm a big fan of promoting businesses who take care of me and I'd gladly do that for them! Don't be discouraged by the only 11 or so reviews that are actually written for them. Their high ratings hold true. From the moment I scheduled an appointment with them, they have been phenomenal! A lady in their corporate office actually scheduled the appointment and she was simply too sweet. Even the gentlemen at the Dagget Street location were so kind and helpful. Caliber Collisions has phenomenal customer service! I have 6.5 years experience in customer service working for Build A Bear Workshop so my expectations are high when it comes to customer service. I walked through the door and the gentleman at the desk greeted me and offered me popcorn, water, soda and coffee. I only had to wait maybe 5 minutes for an agent to come out and do an initial walk through to discuss the damages. When the gentleman walked me back into the office, he too offered me popcorn, water, soda and coffee. They're partnered with Enterprise Rent-A-Car and contacted them to pick me up as soon as I got there. Enterprise arrived to pick me up before the paperwork I needed to sign was even printed! TL;DR - Caliber was fantastic, completing a complex, high-quality repair with great communication and in reasonable time frame. This review is a long time coming, but I had to make sure to go back and give props where props are due! My 2011 Mitsubishi Eclipse was rear-ended pretty hard on the freeway, causing significant damage to the entire rear of the car. After receiving a list of repair shops from my insurance provider, AAA, I decided to go with Caliber due to its convenient location next to rental car companies (side note: AAA is amazing and handled everything for me, even taking care of liaising with the insurance provider for the person who hit me!).In addition, while this shop had comparatively few Yelp reviews, the ones that are here are overwhelmingly positive. As my accident took place over a holiday weekend, AAA took care of towing my car from a tow yard to the Caliber and setting up all the repairs and everything. Without prompting, Caliber got in regular touch with me over the phone and email to keep me well-informed of the progress of the estimate/parts gathering/repair process--the entire staff was phenomenal in this regard! I wish I remembered the names of all the people I interacted with because they were all highly professional and friendly and deserve individual recognition. In the end, I even got my car back a week earlier than expected and looking in even better condition than it did before the accident! Despite significant time and damage and emotional stress for a car that I only had had for six months prior, I could not imagine an eight thousand dollar, 3-week repair could possibly have gone any smoother, and that's a huge testament to Caliber Collision and AAA both providing a great service and working well together, as well as the Enterprise rental car down the street. I was well-informed, I never saw a bill, my car was better than ever, and I even got some touch up paint and a lifetime warranty for the paint on the panels that Caliber repainted.
