Had my car repaired here as they were on the list of recommended shops by USAA -- I had been involved in an accident with one of their insured and they accepted full liability. Caliber Collision in North Park is a great choice. Each person I encountered was courteous and friendly. I worked specifically with Adrian on the repair updates for my vehicle and he was incredibly helpful and accommodating. I received a call from him twice a week, just as I had requested on the intake form when I dropped off my car. The repairs were completed a week before expected, and my car looked brand new again. They even washed and vacuumed my car -- you don't know what that means to me! The entire process was seamless from start to finish. This shop has shown to put the needs and satisfaction of the customer as high priority. I hope to never get in another accident, but if I do, I will come back here. read more

Oh my goodness, Monie (Service Advisor) is THE BEST! I had been told by the car wash/detail place that the rust on the top of my trunk from a leaky pipe in the parking garage I was using during the shut down had eaten through the clear coat and that my trunk would have to be repainted. I hadn't driven for many weeks, so it sounded plausible to me. Worried that my premium would go up again, I nevertheless started an insurance claim and took my car to Caliber Collision for an estimate. Monie took a look at it and said she could take care of it right that minute. She proceeded to use a tremendous amount of elbow grease to rub it completely out. The clear coat was fine--I was so relieved! She didn't charge me a penny and wouldn't even accept a tip. I have used this Caliber Collision location for car body repairs for 15 years and they have always provided excellent service with a smile and extra perks that were unexpected. Stopped by today to report that a job done by San Diego Collision during 2013, painting the hood of a Miata where there was a "concrete water leak" stain which has now bled through and marred the paint-repair job, and was informed that the current owners will not honor work done by their predecessor-in-interest. This repair will now cost me about $700. read more

I would give Caliber's North park a 10 star rating if I could. I am more than pleased. I would use them again in a heart beat. This is my second car repaired there in the last few months. One with insurance and the second not. One a Lexus with Farmers Insurance and the second a Mercedes with out insurance :( With both cars they did an excellent job. Top customer service, Top quality repairs and painting and their estimates were lower than the others. Other body shops in the area give discounts for wonderful reviews but you waste your money on them because my setimates with them were much higher and I don't like to be paid for my comments. Caliber north park does not follow in this line they earn their reviews. I am not sure by some of the negative reviews but I highly disagree with their opinions since I took two high end cars there in the last two months. Here is my take: First I can see why Farmers Insurance has them as their first choice for repair for their customers. I love farmers Insurance and I love this Body shop! This was my first time ever going to get body work done on my car. The situation (accident) was definitely not expected, but gladly enough the shop got everything taken care of quick and easily. Customer service was awesome, I worked with Ivan and he did a great job making sure everything I needed was taken care of. He later checked in with me to see if I was satisfied, all in all he and the worked services was a pleasure despite the inconvenience of the accident. He even fixed my tail light that blew out shortly after with no problems even though it wasn't related to the accident. read more

The claims process with the insurance company was so lengthy and troubling, I was sure it was going to be a hassle till the end. However I was immediately proven wrong the moment I booked an appointment with Martha as she was very friendly and took care of getting me set up quickly. When I arrived I stepped into a warming atmosphere. G.G was my advisor from beginning to end, she was excellent and took an amazing consultive approach, always keeping me informed of the progress. She Always used "I" statements instead of generalizing it to "we" or "they" let me know that she took pride and ownership in her role and I knew that I was in good hands. The process was so seamless and hands off for me I am extremely pleased. The collaborative efforts amongst all of the staff at caliber north park is unmatched. Hats off to Robert who repaired my vehicle, it looked brand new when I picked it up. To wrap it up, Bill, the customer service manager ensured my vehicle was up to par before I drove off of the lot and made sure I knew he was available for any concerns. VERY RUDE! Customer Service = 0 I talked to someone on the phone FOR THIS location and they okayed my car to get towed in and to do the work i requested (made sure before I just showed up there). had high hopes, I got it towed in a few days later and the front desk woman (incredibly rude, unempathetic, must of been having a crappy day) told us they don't do business with our insurance (aaa insurance....seriously) nor insurance through dealers (auto dealer), so we must take our car elsewhere (cause how are they going to get paid if they don't accept those insurances). "don't want your car sitting in our lot, its small enough" even offered to pay ourselves, still did not want the car dropped off in their lot. they refused to leave the office to even look at it for an in person estimate. she did not apologize, NEVER smiled, REFUSED to go look at our car, had a negative attitude and bad hair. also offered no suggestions. just basically from the second we walked in decided she did not want to help us even with our insurance. even the tow truck driver said he thought it was bad service. word of advice, go to another place. the caliber near grossmont center is so much more friendly and honest, not hard up for money up front and will not treat you unfairly. read more

I had been driving around for months with the handle of the driver's door practically falling off. I was on my way to visit a friend when I passed Caliber. On a lark I just dropped in, no appointment. Within seconds a gentleman came to the car to see what I needed. He said it needed a few screws and invited me to wait in the office. There I was offered coffee. After about 15 minutes he came back and said it was all fixed. I asked him how much and he said no charge. Now that is what I call great customer service. It's the little things that count and should the need arise that I need more work I certainly will return to this Caliber. read more

Just picked up my car from Caliber North Park and can't say enough amazing things about my experience there! Cat the office manager was so friendly and kind. She is so organized and explained everything to me in such great detail! She saw I had a large car seat to transport and arranged for a car service to come pick me up to get my rental. Ivan was also wonderful and provided great service! He gave me consistent updates and went out of his way to make sure my car was ready in time for me to pick up, that was convenient with my work schedule. When I picked up my car it was even cleaner than when I dropped it off! They took the time to wash it and even vacuum the inside, wow! I brought in my vehicle and was really stressed over the job at hand. I have been to other repair places and always seemed to get bad customer service and a half ass job done... NOT HERE! I was impressed with how nice everyone was there, willing to take the time and make sure I understood the damage that happened to my car and got me in and out in a very timely manner. I had to bring my son for drop off and pick up of my vehicle and the guys and gal that worked here tried to help keep him happy also while I dealt with the paperwork, this made me feel even more happier and satisfied with my experience. My front splash guard was tweaked after many run ins with parking curbs. Yesterday, I really did the job on the splash guard, got on the freeway and it was dragging along the freeway. Got off freeway and hand placed parts back up. Took car in to Caliber this morning. Ivan took a look at it right away and added several clips and a bolt on the spot. No charge! I was shocked! These folks were great! Saved me a TON of time, which, lets face it equals $$$. Prevented me from having to file a claim by fixing my side view mirror there on the spot for free. Also got rid of some nasty paint scrapes on the other side of the car with a quick wipe down with turpentine- again, free. I forgot the gentleman's name that helped me- sorry! But either way, all the people there were very nice and friendly. Hopefully I don't have to use their services again but definitely would in the future and will recommend to others. read more

Warning. Warning. Do not go to this location. Worst location. Got rear ended on the 5 during rush hour. Not a bad accident but it cracked the bumper enough to need a replacement. My insurance company recommended this place. Worst repair and paint I've ever seen. They ordered a new bumper and painted it to match the car. When I came to pick it up they said it was all checked over and done. It looked like they painted it outside in a dust storm. There were bits of dust, dirt, and hair in the paint. They would have let it go like that if I I didn't look at it and say something. This place is so bad I had to take my car back 3 times. Yes 3 times. All 3 paint jobs were horrible. Dirt and hair stuck in the paint. This place can't get it right and they don't care about there work. I asked them to transfer my car to another location and they said no they would make it right. The final time it took them over two weeks to repaint just the bumper. Slow, bad work, and they don't care. If you want your car to be like it was before your accident don't go here. read more

Let's face it, it is never painless even if the damage is your fault or someone else's, it is a real bummer. I, unfortunatly, have been in that situation more than once. I have always used CALABER COLLISION because I have always gotten great service. ...sure you expect that , but CALABER COLLISION go's farther than that. Ivan and Cat and the rest of the staff go out of their way to make you feel like family. That to me is very uncommon in business today. In the business philosophy of get 'em in grab the cash and shove 'em out it is refreshing to find an oganization like CALABER COLLISION.Now the real deal CALIBER COLLISION repaired my damge to factory specs.
