Avoid this shop at all costs. We've taken in our vehicle twice now, and they've refused both times to fix issues that they didn't properly correct. They advertise lifetime warranty, however, they'll make up an unrealistic scenario to deny responsibility. For example, their manager Kenny lied about the procedure to fix the undercarriage, which they failed to correctly install. After taking our vehicle to a different shop, they clearly explained Caliber Collision faults, and how they failed to properly fix both matters. This could have easily been fixed, as their manager Kenny O'Brien said it would be a 15mins job. He was very unpleasant, and not professional at all. The irony of the story, is that he shared how much he hated cars, repairing them, and only said he was their because it paid his bills. I hope no one experiences what we went through today. read more

Needed a front bumper replaced and was told there would be a delay because the part came to the shop damaged. Then another bumper came in damaged. Was told they would try another location and then that part did not come when I was told. Also the final estimate changed from $1100 to $2849 once they had my insurance information. Wondered if they'd give me a short term loaner for my troubles as I explained I needed a vehicle for work. Got an absolute No on that. Absolutely do not recommend Caliber Collision for your body repair. read more

Asked for an esitmate and submitted it to my insurance provider, who approved it and told me to proceed with the repair. When I dropped off the vehicle another rep wanted to investigate the cause of the collision which had already been approved, and refused to do the repairs for fear he might not get paid??? Much confusion over the estimate, correct representative of Caliber/insurance company, timeliness of emails, estimates and approvals. I'm not usually one to leave reviews for a business, but just wanted to share as a caution for anyone that uses Caliber as my family has multiple times in the past. All other experiences have been great but this last one has been extremely disappointing. My car unfortunately was in an accident and it was taken to caliber for an estimate to get it fixed. The adjuster at caliber claimed "my car wouldn't turn on so they couldn't get a reading on my odometer" so the adjuster put a random number: 111,111 miles on my estimate and sent that off to my insurance. I knew that my true mileage was no where near that number, so I took it up with my insurance to correct the number. Spent hours on the phone between my mechanic shop, discount tire and insurance, trying to get the accurate mileage for my report. All this to find out when I did one last sweep of my car at Caliber before it was sent off, I opened the drivers side door and the milage was clearly displayed on the dash (which read 38,208.. nearly 73,000 miles over quoted!!) Turning the car on was not necessary in the first place. Not only did this negligence cost me hours of my time but if I had not paid attention to the report, would have cost me at least 5,000 dollars. I brought this to the managers attention, and obviously there is nothing further he could do but apologized for the whole situation. He was pleasant but the whole ordeal left a bad taste in my mouth. In January 2024, I brought my car to this location (Raintree) after my bumper received minor damage after being rear ended at a red light. It was an insurance only claim where the other party's insurance company was handling the payment. I sent photos of the damage to the other party's insurance company, and they sent me a check for $1,354.38 (without even coming to physically look at my vehicle). I then made my appointment with Caliber Collision on Raintree to get their estimate (as I have used Caliber in the past (not at this location) and the repairs were done well). After arriving at Caliber for my scheduled appointment I ended up waiting for almost an hour and the name I was given as to whom my appointment was with was "unavailable, so I met with a different adjuster (with no apology or anything - which should have been the first flag on this Caliber Collision). The repair quote was significantly higher than the $1354.38 the insurance company sent me (as I knew it would be) and I told the adjuster that I received a check already for $1354.38 and asked if I should give him that as initial payment. He stated, "that isn't necessary, and that they will call the insurance company with their quote for the approval". The Caliber adjuster called me the next day saying the received approval for their quote and we scheduled the appointment for the repairs (he said they would need it for 7 days - which I thought was excessive for a minor repair, but I was OK with it as the insurance would pay the bill on the rental car). On day 6, Caliber called me and stated my car was ready for pickup at 5PM. Happily, I returned the rental car early and took an Uber from the rental car facility to Caliber Collision (a 22 mile drive) to retrieve my car. I arrived promptly at 5PM as they were getting ready to close. I did a quick inspection of the car, but the sun was going down around this time, so it was difficult to fully inspect the paint work. I was just happy to have my car back at that point. As I was getting the final paperwork completed, they said I did not have any payment due, and I once again mentioned the payment of $1354.38 that I received and questioned if I need to give them that. They stated, "no, all repairs have been paid in full by the insurance company." I even said, "wow, guess I received the check for my inconvenience" and the cashier even giggled about my comment. As soon as I left the garage I got about 1 mile away were I had to turn so I turned on my signal and noted the sound was loud and the light was very rapid. I pulled over to check it and noted the rear left brake light and turn signal wasn't working. I immediately did a U-turn to return to Caliber. As I pulled in, my technician was with another customer, so I ended up waiting another 30 minutes for him to finish with that customer before he returned to me. I told him about the signal and brake light not working. He immediately got on the defense on how that is impossible due to quality checks etc, etc. After opening the trunk to inspect the light, he said, "oh. it isn't plugged in". While he was fussing with it, I noticed a serious blemish in the paint work (that I did not notice on my first quick inspection) and I pointed it out to him. He acknowledged it as well and made "buffing excuses". He then says, "hang on a minute....I think I have a remedy" and heads into the shop. I then attempt to close the trunk and notice it is very hard to close it shut (had to slam it). He came back out, and I tell him about the trunk, he said "oh yeah.... we can adjust that too". Again, no apology or accountability. He then spent over 30 minutes trying to buff out the blemish unsuccessfully. He then said something about "curing process" but agrees to do the paint job again (how convenient seeing I already returned the rental car). So, I made another appointment to drop off the car a week later and Caliber did at least pay for the rental car during the 2nd repair period. I picked up my car after 5 days and the paint blemish was fixed but I noted the car was dirty. However, at this point, I was pretty fed up, so I didn't mention the dirty car issue. I once again checked out with the cashier and ONCE AGAIN mentioned the check of $1354.38 I received and she again stated, "you do not owe us anything - repairs have been paid in full." Again, as I was leaving, I did not receive any apology or accountability for their wrongdoings and drove away shaking my head thinking, "never ever will I go to this Caliber Collision again!" Fast forward to today, 4 months after that terrible experience, and Caliber Collision on Raintree calls me stating, "you owe us $1354.38"!!! Needless to say, I wasn't too pleasant on the phone and even spoke to the GM who remembered me and the fiasco I dealt with. I also explained to him I mentioned this $1354.38 to their staff on at least 3 occasions and was assured I owe nothing. I reluctantly paid it as I am honest. AVOID!!!!! read more

I recently got into a rear end accident and had Caliber Collision fix the front of my vehicle. It took them about 2-3 weeks to repair all the damage. They did a fantastic job and my car looks brand new like it never got in a wreck. I loved that I received text message updates on my vehicle as it was getting repaired. They tried to up charge me 40% over from their initial quote all for a surface scrape. Everything was visible at the time of the quote. No body new body parts were needed. They charged me for molding parts and it is obvious they put the old molding back on as is evidenced by the defects and dents in the molding. Either shady or incompetent or both. read more

My car bumper was recently damaged in a parking lot by an unknown person or object. I visited a couple body shops in the Scottsdale Airpark to get estimates for the repair. I was amazed at how expensive a small dent could cost to repair, well over $1000. Then I stopped by Caliber Collision. Kendall McDonald, General Manager, let me know that they might be able to help. Within 20 minutes be was able to "pop out" the dent and it looked like new again! Amazing, I offered to pay him and he refused. Customer Service like that is Hard to find! My first experience with this location was excellent. I wanted to have decals removed from my truck and they did it quickly and free of charge. I told them I was very appreciative and would think of them first the next time I needed service. When I found out that I should visit a collision center to have rock chips fixed before getting ceramic coating on my truck, I thought of how great my first experience was and stopped by. A woman came out to my truck, took notes and pictures, and said she'd send me an estimate. A few days went by and I called again and was told 'she will send it to you today, we are very busy'. I made sure they had my correct contact info and hung up. A MONTH LATER (today), I called again and explained how long I'd been waiting. A different person looked me up in the system, told me she could see my vehicle and the pictures and that she would make sure the estimate was sent over. Needless to say, that didn't happen. A very disappointing experience that unfortunately totally overrode the first one. It would have been better if she had just told me up front that they weren't interested in my business. I would recommend looking elsewhere if you are looking for timely, reliable service. read more

They did an estimate for the insurance since I didn't have collision on the car and did not charge me. It turned out there were more damages than the car was worth so I sold it to a scrap company. They let me hold the car until I was able to schedule the sale and did not charge me for storing the car there. I did not have actual repairs done but I was impressed with the friendliness helpfulness and not charging me for anything. read more

I was disappointed when I came to pick up my vehicle. Caliber was good at keeping me updated as to the progress with my vehicle. They dropped the ball on the quote they had given me. I was told when they removed the front bumper (I was only having it repainted) they would need to replace the rivets and it would cost $52. I did not have an issue with that and gave the ok to move forward with repairs. Initially I was quoted $300 to have a clear bra placed on the bumper by their outside vendor (Magic Bus). I received a call stating it would be $400, gave the ok to move forward. When I went to pick up my vehicle, both prices had been inflated; $65 for the rivets and $500 for the clear bra. I was not happy about paying and specifically told them this is not what I was quoted. My response was met with, oh did I forget to contact you about that; no you did not contact me. This experience makes me think twice about referring anyone. On top of that, my car was returned dirty from the vendor placing the bra on the car. It would have been nice for Caliber to clean up their mess and at least present me with a clean vehicle. read more
