Chad and Mandy were extremely nice like literally some of the best customer service and Chad was detailed and explained the whole process to me. They even sent me regular updates while my truck was being repaired. Oh boy let me tell you; when I got my truck back it was like brand new again. They did a phenomenal job. Caliber collision has an alarm that goes off when they're closed, multiple times each evening and periodically, many times on the weekend when they're entirely closed. They are aware of it and they refuse to do anything about it. They say that they're looking into it but that's weak ago when I actually spoke with management there. If they can't take care of that noise pollution, which I hear over a mile away at my house up on a hill, they're not gonna take care of my car! read more

I had my car repaired at caliber collision on Sonoma boulevard in Vallejo. The hood roof and trunk repaired and painted. Upon picking up my car and driving off , everything looked fine. But once driving in the Sun, I noticed metal flake paint on my windows. Which is unacceptable and unprofessional. Caliber collision should have removed all paint spray from my windows before turning my car over to me. This upsets me because I have to make a return there which is a inconvenience to my day. Needs to do quality and better work. My day consists of various appointments , I need access to my car. read more

Do not go to this location Long story short, the people working there are nice and service is great but they will take shortcuts and will not honor the warranty on their work. My car's rear quarter panel was damaged and I had it repaired by Caliber Collision in Vallejo in 2020. The damage was big enough to the quarter panel that the panel should have been replaced. At the time they assured me that they could just put some filler and it would hold. I saw that they warranty their work so I thought nothing of it. Four years later and the filler is starting to separate from the body panel. I made an appointment and they agreed to look at it. The manager looked at it and starting making excuses saying someone must have hit your car or someone was leaning on it and pushed it enough for the filler to separate. He said they wouldn't warrant it. I'm so disappointed in this location of Caliber Collision. I've been here twice and have had great experiences but good customer service can only compensate so much for shoddy work and a fake warranty. Also, unrelated side note but while I was having my car fixed here for a week, my windshield wiper fluid lines were either chewed up by mice or damaged by the staff and they wouldn't take any responsibility for it and fix it so I had to pay out of pocket to get it fixed. I let it go at the time because I just wanted to have my car back. Again, don't go here. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! One staff member is rude asf. We walked in and this guy Derek just looked at us and I have to make the initial contact with them. No greetings, no hi no hello. None. I asked for an estimate for a more or less 5 inches wide dent on my car. He took my information then proceeded to do his thing, again no explanation no whatever. He just took pictures, wrote the VIN number, wrote the license plate, everything. Mind you, he didnt say not one word unless I ask him questions. His response? Yes or no. No explanations no whatsoever. Estimate came out, he passed the paper to me and says "$2800". AGAIN, No explanations no whatsoever. Then I asked, so I will not push through with it today, just wanna asked if all the information you took are all gonna be deleted or shall be kept by your company? His answer? "Yeah" and he gave me a lil shrug. I just walked away and avoided to have discussion with this guy. Hope this review will be read by the company. After having a repair done on my car at caliber in Vallejo, I came home to find six additional issues with the car where items that either been reinstalled improperly or broken. I returned to the shop to have these things fixed and when I returned home, I found one thing improperly installed, and another broken.l Additionally, a piece that was broken was being sent to me in the mail and was sent postage due. Accidents are a pain in the butt! However, if you have a body shop with friendly and accommodating customer service, then it makes the whole process less painful. I walked in and was quickly greeted by one of the ladies in the office. I had a 3PM appointment but she was able to have my service advisor MAYRA meet with me 30 minutes earlier! MAYRA was super easy to work with! Easy to work with, knowledgeable, positive attitude, and walked me through the entire process. She answered all questions I had. She looked at my vehicle, took pictures, provided an estimate, and arranged a ride home back for me. I was not there for long! Process was not stressful! From the start and until now, Caliber Collision keeps me updated with the status of my claim via email. I appreciate all communication! I originally brought my vehicle in through USAA on 11/14/23 to have my driver side door lock cylinder and steering column lock cylinder replaced. Unfortunately, my vehicle was left outside their secured facility and vandalized. As a result, the rear tinted glass was shattered and replacement needed to be found and installed. The initial repair was originally going to take 10 days but due to vandalism, it took 49 days to get my car back and I had to pay for a UBER/Lyfts, followed by a rental. Work was good but found it disrespectful that my belongings were tossed around in my car. Literally looked like they threw it. Also drops of something was on my hood and when address the person rubbed it out and said that there was "a lot of scratches" already on my car and literally stood there in silence. The work wasn't even done at the front of my car so how that got there was surprising to me. Fortunately they were able to come off but not even a apology for it. A little disappointed because I would rave about this place and would go here for any work needed to my cars. They are good at communicating the progress and keeping you in the loop but every little thing counts especially because everyone works hard for their stuff and to see my things tossed and random things on my car that was not there is annoying. This review is specific to my current repair claim. I originally submitted a claim to repair/replace my interior carpet, seat covers, and stereo components. My Jeep was flooded in a sudden downpour. I first left the Jeep with them to assess the scope of work needed. Weeks go by. During this time there was zero communication. I had to call each time. Eventually, it became obvious they didn't want to talk with me and were not returning my calls. Eventually, they decided to return the jeep to me while parts were delivered. They were backordered because Covid supply issues. At the time I was understanding and said take as long as you need, thinking it wouldn't take any longer than a month or two. By June they called saying they were ready to start working on the Jeep. I drop it off and they have kept it ever since. Almost weekly I call for status and I get a run around. At one point they said they were waiting for me to tell them what stereo I wanted. I told them my original stereo is no longer available and would have to rely on the stereo shops recommendation. I said ok, fine, and within an hour I gave them what I thought was needed, although I'm not really sure. I was told the delay was car seats. Then I was told the delay was the carpet. Now I'm told it's me. I'm in my 12th month and at my limit. I have Pais a year of registration ($250) and a year of full coverage insurance ($950). So now I'm just pissed and they keep kicking the delivery date ball two weeks down the road. Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated. read more

Went in to get an estimate one day and found out it was appointment only. That was understandable because of COVID so I made an appointment and came in the next day. Will was the guy that went over the estimate with me. I felt like he was straight forward and honest. Didn't make anything seem overblown, kept it factual and informative. (Not like some of the other shops nearby where they made it seem like there was a magical person mixing and matching the paint or that the damages were worse than they were) I felt the estimate was fair and the time spent working was good. Will did an outstanding job letting me know what was expected. Mandy did a great job with getting me setup and Walter (I think the gentleman's name was Walter.. sorry if I don't remember) was more than helpful with making himself available and fitting my schedule. BEWARE: I truly believe this place is committing insurance fraud. I was in an accident on November 10. My catalytic converter stolen November 14. They did an inspection on my car November 15. They fired the person who did the inspection on November 18. I brought my car back in for reinspection November 19 as the first one was done by the person they fired and he didn't "do it right". It is now January 25 and not one part has been ordered for my car. The insurance company has already paid out over $2000 in rental car fees for a car that has just been sitting without parts even being ordered. I understand catalytic converters are on back order, but you at least need to place the order to get one when they do come in. I asked caliber collision for proof of purchase, proving that they have at least ordered a bumper or something to fix my car and they said they are not able to provide me with one and would not give me a straight answer as to if they have ordered any parts regarding my car. I called Toyota parts and service to get an estimate as to when the catalytic converter's will be back in stock. They mentioned they are coming in daily and are available for purchase. I then mention this to caliber collision, and they refused to buy it directly from Toyota and said they will get it from there dealer. This information came directly from Walter Kroll. I received nothing but false information from this company. My insurance company informed me they had spoken with caliber collision and receive the date of January 31 as when they will get the parts in. Just a test them. I called Walter Kroll and asked what date will you get the parts in? He said there is no date. They have zero information and he has nothing to tell me. I then questioned my insurance company as to who gave them this information they said it came directly from Walter Kroll working at caliber collision. This alone is proof that there either giving the insurance company false information or they're stalling on fixing my car for whatever reason. The insurance company is launching an internal investigation on this company to verify their validity and confirm fraud. I have since moved the servicing of my car over to the Toyota dealership, and the parts have been ordered today with an estimate date of arrival within the next 15 days. Although I'm aware, catalytic converters are heavily back ordered you at least need to place an order to get one that does not answer my question as to why not even a bumper was ordered to fix my car from a whole separate accident. My questioning of caliber collision was met with no return phone calls and zero answers. I called caliber collision on January 4, January 14, January 22 and January 25. I have received one return phone where Walter was extremely rude and aggressive stating "it's not like I'm checking this thing everyday or even every week". I am not sure why Toyota dealership has access to these parts by caliber collision is not able to get a direct from manufacturer part. Also, if I informed caliber collision that these parts are available through Toyota parts and services, I am not sure why this would be met with. I will get it from my own dealer when this part must be direct from manufacturer. After receiving false information, this company giving incorrect dates to the insurance company and not providing the customer with any type of update over a period of 70+ days is ridiculous. There was a kind lady who answered the phone at the front desk each time I called and she did inform Walter and Francisco that I needed a call back in regards to my claims and not until I called for the fifth time did I receive a call back. My insurance company has this place flagged and is doing an internal investigation. Please BEWARE! read more

I had an at fault accident on the Carquinez Bridge back in early November that caused some expensive damage to the passenger side spoiler on my 2019 Corvette Grand Sport. Nevertheless, USAA wanted me to take my car elsewhere. I refused and insisted on taking my car to Caliber Collision. I contacted Jennifer Aguilar via the telephone and informed her of my plight. She informed me they were no longer named Solano Collision. And had changed to Caliber Collision. Nevertheless, she said we can take care of your needs. I was well aware of their Corvette expertises and their GM certifications. When I went to drop the vehicle off at Caliber Collision. I was warmly greeted with pleasantries by two charming young ladies. The office and waiting area was pleasingly immaculant and possessed an old school popcorn machine. Delicious I might add. A wonderful and pleasant ambience. The office is staffed with two office administrators, Mandy Stanford and Jennifer Aguilar. These two young ladies were extremely articulate, courteous, delightful, intelligent, knowledgeable and professional. Mandy's impeccable customer service skills and diplomacy are invaluable. Jennifer listened tentatively to all my concerns and questions. She processed my paper work in record time. These two beautiful young ladies are a valuable asset to Caliber Collision. I was then introduced to Clay, the expert technician. Who walked me through each and every step of the process. He kept me totally informed throughout the process. He was extremely concerned with the back log of ordered parts through GM. However, he had informed me earlier that GM had just recently ended their strike and had returned to work. I told him the car is yours, work your miracle. He touched based with me each and every day, like a medical professional. With his expertise and knowledge. Clay was able to accurately predict the total cost and time it would take to repair my vehicle. His attention to detail and focus was incredible. His initiative and dillegence was impeccable. When the work was completed and I picked up the car on Friday, December 13, 2019 the look of the car was beyond belief. I was more than satisfied with their work. Francisco Garcia is the example of the excellent customer service that is so sorely missing in today's world of chat bots and AI customer service that doesn't serve the customer just the company. I just recently moved to CA from TX and needed to transfer my registration. In doing so, it was discovered that my back door license plate was soo poorly applied by my Nissan Dealership Service company that to remove it would result in body damage and more cost. I went searching in the area for a body shop to get an estimate and found Caliber Collision and to my great pleasure Francisco. He helped me even though he was on his lunch break. He could tell how disappointed I was in my service so far and found a solution to applying my license that cost me nothing. He also offered his clever labor so that I could drive away from his location with my license attached and no risk of a traffic violation by not having a plate applied to my car. I don't think that in the last 10 years I've had any company that offers a service assist me without finding a way to gauge me with nickle and dime costs or by making me purchase some other service I didn't want or need. While I was on vacation I sadly came back to finding out my car was in a hit and run incident. Caliber collision was the collision company chosen to fix my car. Caliber collision said it would be done by the end of that week, then they changed it to the beginning of the next week, and since then there continues to be more and more changes. I also had to go back and forth between my insurance and caliber because caliber collision said that they were waiting for new estimates to be approved by my insurance, but I later found out that my insurance had already approved them, so I was being given false information from Caliber. I've never dealt with a company who's changed things so much and been so unreliable. I've had to go out of my way just to get simple responses from them and all I've been told is that they "are short staffed" and that this is the reasoning behind all the changes and confusion. Sad to say this whole experience has been a mess and I will likely never choose this business again. read more

I'm only giving them one star because this company is not professional. I had my car fixed there and the lady in the front told me there was no deductible and everything was paid. I wasn't surprised because the accident wasn't our fault. We assumed that the other company took responsibility and our deductible was waived. Caliber waits TWO MONTHS to call us and tell us they were wrong and that we need to pay $500.00. Apparently, the guy who hit us didn't have insurance and the accident wasn't covered. Why did Caliber tell us everything was covered and that we didn't have to pay a deductible? They have no answer for this question when I ask them. Caliber has taken no responsibility for their error. Who waits months to give you a bill after telling you that you don't owe anything? This is not a company I want to work with. They also take a long time to fix your vehicle. If they say a week, plan on being in a rental car for two and a half. read more
