Before this experience, I had an okay experience. This experience was the worst experience I have had with any business and Brett (who refuses to give his last name) is the worst! If you have a nice car (mine was a 2011 Audi) that had a minor fender bender they will total it out (to probably resell to a friend) and give it back once you when you refused to let them keep it, with warning lights on that weren't on before before (because they may have been disassembling to resell) and were told to get off the property before the end of the night. Brought my car here after I was hit at a stop sign. I was advised 3 times via text they were waiting for my insurance to approve the cost of repairs. Finally insurance told me they were totaling my car because Caliber couldn't find parts for my 2018 Lincoln. SO, either Caliber was intentionally misleading and giving me incorrect information, OR they're incompetent. I'm not sure which one yet, we're still working on it. Attached is an actual picture of the damage from filing my claim. Runs and drives, drove it for a week waiting to get the police report, they just aren't capable of looking for the part they need, but they are capable of lying to me in writing about it. read more

Last week my car was broken into. The driver's side window was busted, and I went to Caliber to get it replaced. Right away I noticed how friendly the receptionist was. It's a major bummer having to replace a window out of pocket RIGHT when all your bills are due.. but the kindness of the staff, especially Marcus Cerda, took a lot of the sting away. We had a bit of trouble finding a replacement window since my car is so old, but Marcus was able to find a used window for me at a lower cost which I really appreciated! He said it had some scratches, so I was bracing myself for a crappy replacement but I was shocked when I saw the finished product. It looks new! I see one scratch that isn't very noticeable, but that's it. Even when we discovered the brackets that held my window in place were broken (and of course since my car is so old they don't make those brackets anymore), he was able to have them welded back into place at no extra charge. I'm so grateful for the quality of work and customer service Caliber Collision provides. read more

Is there a 6 star option? The people who work at Caliber Collision are beyond kind and genuine. Such amazing service! My truck was hit by a driver, leaving the back end a mess. Harold worked on my truck and he did a PHENOMENAL job! The back end looks better than it did when I bought it! Huge shoutout to Harold! I was helped by Marcus who made sure I was in the loop with the progress of my vehicle (He is awesome!!). Caliber Collision went above and beyond to get my vehicle back to me. They even washed, waxed, and vacuumed my truck! On top of the amazing service, they paid for a Lyft when it was time to pick up my vehicle. I am amazed. I lost control of my Mustang and did some major damage to the front end. I took the car to Caliber Collision thru my insurance and when I got my car back it looked better than the day I bought it. Great service and great communication as they kept me updated during the 3 weeks it took for them to return my vehicle. Only reason it took so long was because we had to wait for a part from Ford that was on back order. Other than that. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 due to the congestion at the body shop. Hard to find a place to park. Not a lot of help until a kind African American man who seemed to be in charge came by and made everything go smoothly. He made the whole experience simple and even helped get my car and transfer my things into it. That's service!! We brought the bumper in and senior service advisor Marcus Cerda gave it to his technician John, who re-attached it in under 15 minutes as a courtesy. This review is for the location 2600 E 33rd St, Vancouver, WA 98663. A couple months a go my car was taken in for some repairs, rear window replacement and some dents caused by a break in. Staff was overly accommodating and very nice. My experience was amazing....before I picked up my car. To start off, upon opening my trunk I discovered broken glass everywhere that had not big cleaned up. This was caught before I left so they took care of it. I was told by David that my door had a border piece that was broken up putting my car back together and it would be taken care of within a few days (2 months later) still not call. I have reached out and was told I would get a call back, that never happened. Also there is paint bubbling on the driver side door and I can still hear broken glass inside the paneling of my truck door. I don't think this is a bad place but I feel like this was rushed work to move on to the next vehicle. Super disappointed. read more

My car was dropped off on Oct. 8, 2020 at Caliber Collision on 33rd in Vancouver, Wa. Today is Nov. 20, 2020. My 2015 Dodge Journey was in need of repairs after being hit on the drivers side. I needed a new fender, drivers door and glass with tint. This accident was not my fault and was the other parties responsibility. 44 days later my car has been completed back to its original condition before I was hit. Initially the repairs took 1 week. When I came in to pickup the vehicle, the first thing I noticed was a scratch in the brand new glass/ tint. They told me next week I could bring the car back and they would have it re-tinted. As I drove home I realized the door didn't align properly at the top corner. Causing road noise and airflow into the vehicle. Once I got home I could place my fingers between the door and the car and pull my door away from the vehicle. Which was not acceptable or how it was, originally. This was a Friday. So I left them a voicemail and email. This would need to be fixed along with the scratched brand new window. They reached out the following week and scheduled repairs. They found out the window itself was scratched and not the tint. They would need to order a new one. They said they would order it that day and should just be a few days and they would get us back in for repairs. They did get the door back in alignment. However that should have been noticed by looking at their own work or taking it for a test drive before handing it back to me. One week later. Haven't heard from them. Two weeks later. Haven't heard from them. I call and speak to the manager the next week. He informs me he has a sticky note as a reminder to call me. He will have to see why 3 weeks later they don't have the window yet. One week later. No return phone call about my window as promised again. We call back the following week and let them know this is unacceptable and how poorly they have communicated with us. We have just received the car back. It's dark outside so we're not sure if the issues have been fixed. However today, we never received a call that our car was ready. We called them 3x today with no answer. We finally had to call another location to have them reach out for us. Upon arrival, the manager had paperwork to do and did not want to walk us out to our car. He eventually did as we demanded that courtesy. I let him know his phones weren't working. He let me know every excuse why they couldn't call. They also left dirty paper towels and cleaner in our car and tried to say it was ours. Never once apologizing. I would never recommend this location for repairs. Very unsatisfied. Let our insurance know as well and filled out their satisfaction survey to reflect that. It's not a lot to ask for communication and courtesy to a mistake you made in a situation that wasn't our fault to begin with. read more

Big shout out to the folks at Caliber Collision at the 33rd and St John's location. My wife's 2010 Nissan was rear end. Every repair shop was booked out 2 months but Caliber agreed to get us in the next day. There wasn't a lot cosmetic damage but the frame around the trunk was bent and would not close completely. As things go, the insurance company totaled the car. The wife and I knew the car still had life left in it and decided to buy it back. Knowing that they need to take off the bumper-cover to assess the damage, I half expect to find the car in pieces with the bumper cover in the back seat. What a surprise, knowing we wanted it back, even though it was totaled, they took a little extra time and pulled the frame out enough so the trunk would close completely. Wow! Just wow! That was really all we needed and they even washed it too. If you want a place that really cares about you and your ride I would highly recommend them. They went out of there way to give a little extra and treated our 12 year old day driver with respect. I would give them 6 stars if I could. Great job! read more
