It slams open and closed, rubber is already splitting apart when it closes, they came back once and said that is normal. Light bulb burnt out shortly after installation, would not replace. If I could give ZERO stars I would. What a colossal waste of time & security this company caused my family. They originally stated 4-6 weeks, which turned into 8-10 weeks. They finally schedule Dec. 23rd, yes two days before Christmas, when we had plans to go out of town for Holidays and Family, to which I rescheduled for them. The day before, they call to confirm. Then later they suddenly realize they made a mistake after having this job for 2 months+ and demand to change to the 24th!!! Christmas Eve, as if we had no plans. His "can do" attitude and friendly demeanor was a pure pleasure, unlike other local door companies, who wrote down my request on a napkin, and I had to wait almost a week for the quote to be sent to me. Just recently, since I was doing some updates to my house, I was in the market for some new garage doors. I didn't know where to go but I prepared myself for doing the research in hopes of finding three companies whom I can get estimates from and look at their products. I already had one company in mind but went on my search to find two more when I came across Caliber Garage Doors whom I found in this Home Improvement Booklet I receive on a monthly bases through the mail. Looking at the advertisement, I saw they had the YELP icon with a claim of "over 50 five star reviews". Looking at this, I went to their website, liked what I saw and read the reviews on Yelp which is always helpful to me and decided to reach out to them and made an appointment. Another factor that caught my attention was that they were having a promotion of $200.00 off each door and I needed two. As promised on the day and time set for my appointment, their Sales Manager by the name of Brendan Dwyer arrived and together we went out and looked at my two garage doors. Mr. Dwyer was very friendly and I was impressed on how he represented himself and Caliber plus as we spoke, we discussed options such as motor driven or no motor driven, windows or no windows since this all makes a difference in price depending on the doors themselves, their location and how often they will be used. His knowledge and suggestions led to many cost savings features. He also came equipped with samples showing me the type of door suitable for my needs, color, panel design, locking mechanism, etc. Now basically, this call was just to get an estimate and see what the company offered but I felt pretty good about the company and Mr. Dwyer and to make a long story short, instead of researching two other options, I trusted my gut feeling and went with Caliber. Their technician showed up on the day and time as promised with a four hour window to complete the installation of both garage doors. The technician had them both installed, completely functional within three and a half hours. During the installation, the technician was explaining to me what he was doing, asked me certain questions regarding light switches, explained to me the care and maintenance of the rollers and of course, how to use the locks to lock and unlock the units. He also hauled the old swing up doors and hardware away. In closing, I was very impressed with the initial presentation, the quality of the doors, the workmanship, the installation and everyone involved in getting this completed; especially Mr. Brendan Dwyer who also reached out to me after the installation to let me know if I had any issues, to connect with him directly. I am completely 100% satisfied and will be giving Caliber, Mr. Dwyer and their installer five stars and will recommend them to anyone needing new garage doors. read more

So when Kusay said 30 minutes to repair for $350 I naturally wanted to say what most customers say which is "Wow! thats so expensive. $700 an hour?!!" I was generally pleased with the service I received from Caliber Garage Doors in replacing all of the mechanisms for a garage door attached to my Redlands home that had collapsed. Two servicemen arrived on time on the agreed upon date; completed professional work; and cleaned up almost all old parts before leaving. But I found a few old loose parts on the ground, and hours later discovered that I could not close the door's metal latch in its chamber in order to lock the door manually with a combination padlock. For the camber of the latch and door had slightly changed. I called the company, spoke with the senior technician who had worked on the door, and he agreed to come the next morning to resolve the problem. He did so without additional charge, and created a new suitable metal-encased cavity for the latch in about 15 minutes before apologizing profusely for not checking the new interface of the latch and repaired door the day before. The door was then able to be locked with ease. I considered the needed quick follow-up visit to be no big deal, and appreciated the solicited opinion not to refit a second garage door with new hardware when it was not broken. If and when the companion door does clearly need to be repaired or replaced, I will not hesitate to call on Caliber Garage Doors again. read more
