Kelly, who owns Aquaman, came out, tested the water, gave me a free quote. Gave me military discount and different options on plans. My water softener was installed by Joe only a few days later. Joe was so nice, he drained my water heater while he was at my house. A few weeks later, Brad came out and gave me orientation to the system. He showed me how many hours until regeneration. It works great with our rusty, extremely hard water. They have also come out twice to do repairs. One was to replace a small part. Aqua Man is a wonderful company that cares about its customers over profit. We have had our Hague Soft Water Unit for almost 16 years. Recently we thought we should purchase a new one due to its age. They came out and did tests and advised us all was well, no need to buy a new one. We then purchased a Reverse Osmosis from them. The price and installation was great. The tech who put in the system charged us for labor. Before I realized the mistake because installation was free, Aqua Man had caught it and only charged us the cheaper price. They did the best Hague install I have ever seen! We had a very unique outdoor install. We worked through the design together. It took time, but done once and right. Aqua-Man's water softening system has not worked well for us. It's been adjusted repeatedly, but we are still replacing faucets due to hard water damage. Quoting the most recent plumber, "Your system doesn't work. You should not see this in plumbing with a working softener system." -since replacing with the Aquaman softener, water has leached through the seal and pitted the concrete on the floor outside our master bath shower - told by Kelly (owner) to begin using Cascade Complete in dishwasher again because the brand of cleanser they sell/suggest wouldn't clean dishes in dishwasher - faucets replaced a second time after system installed -drinking glasses repeatedly thrown away due to fogginess from hard water - when Kelly or techs come to adjust the unit they say recent rains, etc, have caused the hardness levels in the water to change (well water). However, they are supposed to be the premier well water system. Owner, Kelly (sells the systems), was rude enough that I asked my husband to start communicating with him. They have offered us great customer service and worked with our schedule to set up our new system in our new home. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They have TERRIBLE services. I am very supportive of small business, but Aqua-Man Water Condition is extremely unprofessional. The owner, Kelly, came to my home and interrogated my neighbors because he was looking for us. He has our phone number but did not call or left a message. He told asked my neighbors for my phone number, even though he has it in the system, and for my new address. The background: We rented our water softener from Aqua-Man for the past 3 years. Our total contract is for 5 years. The first 2.5 years, I called multiple times because I did not feel like the water softer was working correctly. When I got my dishwasher checked, a third-party maintenance contractor told me that I should call my water softener company because he could see hard water build up in my dishwasher and sink. So I called for yet ANOTHER service and, finally, the Aqua-Man Water Softer technician confirmed that a valve was not installed correctly. I asked, is this something that can accidentally get turned? and he told me that it requires a tool to turn the valve. So for 3 years, I paid for water-softner and have it NOT WORK. I spoke to the owner about the situation and he claimed that I never mentioned this previously and the other technicians that came to check the water softener never noted this issue. Fine. I asked to cancel the contract and he demands that I pay for a $200 cancellation fee even though we had the discussion that for the past 3 years, the water softener DID NOT WORK! Fast forward, Kelly comes to my house, interrogate my neighbors and demand for his softener back. Which is fine, but I still was paying for the rental! I never missed a payment because is on auto pay! COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL! We ended up getting Westinghouse water softener and it is FAR better than Aqua-Man's product. We had a whole house RO system and softener installed by Aquaman to purify and soften our well water. We could not be more pleased with the result -- the water is amazing, and the work done is a quality job. Kelly was especially helpful and knowledgeable about talking through options. The job took longer than we expected due to a component arriving damaged in shipping. We had to wait another month beyond the original date to get everything installed and set up. That was annoying, and the communication about when the reschedule would happen could have been better. Delay is somewhat understandable given the recent Texas ice storms and COVID causing Supply Chain issues. Once installed though, we love the system. read more

In 2019 we built a new home in 'Hill Country' and Aqua-Man was recommended by our builder. Kelly and our Builder met at our home before the 'walls' were enclosed. We installed their water softener system and reverse osmosis system. I must note that the water softener system distributes softness in an 'even' distribution; unlike older technology systems where water initially feels extremely soft then after a week feels much better. Their reverse osmosis system feeds our refrigerator water and ice cube maker. The sink spout provides delicious water for cooking and/or drinking. We've had no issues with our Aqua-Man equipment and the Customer Service is excellent. We highly recommend 'pre-installation' with new construction! read more

Service is not good enough to even review. They came out and spent time maintaining our system Next morning water was cloudy and undrinkable from RO. I was told I could not get service for another 7 days. I complained and tech was to come out first thing Monday morning. Tech showed at 1:00pm while Kenetico rep was here. If you don't purchase before the 12 month option, then you owe the cancellation fee of $400 and they hound you for any amount owed. Wish I would of read the Google review before scheduling a warranty service w filter change. Pretty much sums up my exact experience. Gave us a 2 hour window then they tried to cancel appointment so essentially there tech could get off early. Appointment was between 3-5 called at 130 trying telling me if I wasn't there to bad. My wife took a half day to have them come out and do this service. For service industry terrible customer service. On top of messing us around final charges were just shy of 200 bucks for a filter change. Well first and last time I'll use them. When selling you the product and installing they are very helpful but after that forget about it. I would personally avoid. read more

I called this company because I was told they had the best solution to stinky well water. I have no problem with the equipment or installation, however, I had some issues with a pressure switch that began acting up after they manually shut it off at the switch. It probably would have been better to shut off the power at the breaker box. When they returned to flush the system after the installation, the pressure switch was burned up. I am NOT saying it was their fault since my equipment was old. However, they informed me that all they could do was give me an estimate and come back and fix it in another 5 days, at the earliest. After spending nearly $3,000 for the filtration system I was so excited to have non-stinky water but ended up with NO Water!!! I should have contacted the owner of the company immediately, but it was a Friday afternoon and I needed someone who could fix my problems, not talk. Fortunately, I called Buddy's Well Service in Bandera and they arrived promptly and replaced the pressure switch for about half of what Aquaman verbally quoted. Buddy's service man told me they would have come out even on a Saturday or Sunday if I didn't have water - big difference. read more
