The portions were also generous, they definitely didn't skimp on the fish. The tomato & feta was probably my favorite side. I had such a genuinely great experience at California Fish Grill in Summerlin. From the moment I walked in, every single staff member I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and kind it really stood out. I was having a little trouble seeing the menu, and the young man at the register immediately offered to read it off to me without hesitation. That kind of attentiveness is rare and so appreciated. While I was there, I also noticed the manager going out of their way to show kindness to another customer, which says a lot about the culture of the place. You can tell it's not just one person ,it's the whole team. I drove by this area and was curious about their menu. I got excited when I saw in the website that they do serve cauliflower rice which made me decide to try it. As I walked in you can order two ways. One way is to order through the monitor and the other way is through the cashier. I opted to the first option just to see how easy it is. It was pretty easy to navigate if you order it yourself you just need to double check everything before checking out. Ordered branzino with cauliflower rice and clam chowder and sweet potato fries for my mother. Its was alright. It seems chaotic at the pick up area for dining and to go area. They said that I will get a text when order was ready but I never did. I heard them call out my name though. The manager Kayvon was checking every table if everyone was alright so I had a little chat with him which seems receptive of my observation. I often come to this location after going to the gym at planet fitness due to its convenience. This location never fails me even when they are slammed busy during lent friday. The cashiers are always nice making sure my order is correct and if I need sauces. The food is of course really delicious I've tried plenty of items on the menu my favorite being the dynamite shrimp. Today I had the protein bowl which has different cuts of fish and shrimp and chicken I believe. Everything always taste fresh. We come to this location often and I'm hoping I'm writing it for the right location, Charleston and Fort Apache, JOHNNA was the nicest young lady that has ever taken care of us. She went way way above and beyond and we were being difficult unfortunately. Not to mention my husband's fish was too dry only because he had surgery on his throat.
