The employees are extremely kind, refer to their customers by name and go above and beyond to assist the community. Make sure you read expiration dates people! The beers (Stone ipa) might have some very old years marked on them or any craft beer for that matter. Just be careful people. Don't want anyone getting sick. My husband and I have been trying to find a liquor store that doesn't sell expired beer in garden road area. We are trying 7-11 next. Wish us luck. read more

I came to this store to get Modelos, went to the register and this guy asked for my ID (I know I look young). So gave him my ID he was skeptical about it like hes never seen an ID his whole life. So I gave him my other ID which was a government ID. So that didnt make it any better as it requires more "intelligence" to read a government ID (they are a different format, far from the norm) He asked me my birthdate and my address like "Oh where do you live" and other shit to prove that ID is real. He grabbed his stupid ass flashlight to check if my IDs were real. Then I realized this guy was just wasting my time so I said nevermind. Went to 7/11 theres like 2 guys there buying a bunch of beers saying their IDs got rejected too by that keg store. This concludes that this ID checking weirdo is not good for the business. Will never come back here again. Theres a thin line between doing/knowing your job well than plain stupidity. What a fantastic waste of time. This guy fucking sucks lol. read more

I love this place! The beer selection is amazing (they just put in a new beer cooler), and the prices are very competitive. A lot of items they sell are cheaper than the local grocery stores, or at least on par. However, I give these guys 5 stars because of their good deeds. During the so-cal blackout in 2011, they kept their doors open and practically gave away products to locals in need. Their credit card machine didn't work so they gave away essential products (ice, water, etc.) on the honor system. I spoke to one of the owners days later and some people never came back to settle their bill, but the store was undeterred. A+ in my books. P.S. - the dip stick that wrote the review about catering to illegal immigrants is probably a bigot. So far from the truth it's not even funny. I live nearby and have had no problems with crime or anything of the such. read more

The gentlemen that run this business are fantastic! They DO NOT cater to illegals. The house that is attached is rented by a retired Navy Seal that served our country and fought for punks like Darin to have the many freedoms that we as Americans enjoy and clearly abuse. Their selection is ample and if they do not already have what you're looking for they will gladly order it for you. My review is basically regarding the customer service they provide. this is the place that I get my BBQ propane tanks filled, but really don't know if the price is good or not. I assume/hope it must be comparable.. They are always so friendly and helpful. If there's just one person working, he'll lock the door and come out and help me, which is probably a bit of a hassle. This store was pretty funky until the new owners took over. It's a new place altogether now. I am being generous leaving one star. All I can say is buyer beware! They DO NOT stand behind their keg/jockey box rentals...not only did they not have the correct pieces ready when we came to pick up our kegs, when we went to hook it up ( at our wedding reception...yeah, kind of an important day) the coils in the jockey box leaked and we lost at least a quarter of the keg...the cooler filled up with beer and would not dispense properly and spilled out onto the floor. When we returned the equipment to the store, not only were we told there was nothing wrong, but he basically accused my husband of lying and that would NEVER happen with their jockey box. Well it did, and it was a horrible experience. Please do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place...they do not stand behind their product and then will berate you and call you a liar when you have an issue. BUYER BEWARE!! read more
