20 Jun We came to California Pizza Kitchen because we wanted to talk while we ate! We planned well, it was after the lunch crowd so we were alone in the big room! Nora, our waitress, was fantastic! She was supposed to leave at 3:00, however, she stayed until 3:30, we all were having fun! The menu is so full of things to eat, but I knew just what I wanted! Mexican Street Corn (sweet corn, feta cheese, paprika, and cilantro). I also got a Margherita pizza, with added avocado, on crispy crust!! The pizza was great, the crust was strong enough to handle the toppings, which I really appreciate! The Mexican Street Corn was also very good! The 3 of us split a piece of cheesecake with assorted berries, it was yummy! I know I will go back to this restaurant, there are a lot of things to try!!! Oh! I rarely write reviews, but my experience at CPK Pearlridge on 03/18/2026 at 7 PM was disappointing enough that I felt it needed to be shared. We checked in for a table at 7 PM and were told the wait would be 20-25 minutes, which was perfectly fine with us. We waited outside the restaurant as instructed. After 40 minutes passed, we learned that our table had been given away. The hostess claimed a text was sent at 7:21 PM, but we never received anything--and we were only a party of two. If the restaurant relies solely on text notifications, it might be worth adding a backup method, such as calling the phone number provided or calling out names outside before giving away a table. Because of this mix‑up, we weren't seated until 8 PM, and the hostess never apologized. My friend politely explained the situation to our server and asked if anything could be done to make up for the inconvenience. The manager came over, but instead of greeting us or acknowledging the issue, the first thing she said was, "What's going on?" After I explained, her response was simply, "We are busy." She offered to comp only one drink--even though we were paying separately--and still did not apologize for the long wait or the mistake. We grew up eating at this CPK, so it was disappointing to receive such poor service at a place we've enjoyed for years. read more

Yummy Nomy Nomy Nom. January was my first CPK visit and it was at the Pearl Ridge location. I was surprised it was so busy on a Sunday as we came for a late lunch but our wait was quoted at 40-45 minutes wait. We came with a group of 9 and had about a 30 minute wait. Thankfully, being at the mall helped so while we waited everyone did a little walking around and shopping. Now coordinating food with a big group is always a task but we ended up ordering one appetizer and 4 pizzas. We started with the spinach dip and bread which everyone had. We also were able to get a little more chips once it ran out. One of the gals in the group has a peanut allergy so we didn't choose to order the Thai Chicken pizza but instead got the BBQ Chicken Pizza. We also got (my favorites) Margherita pizza on crispy crust, California Cobb on hand tossed crust, and The Works. Several of the group had never eaten here so I loved being able to introduce them to one of my favorite pizza chains. And it was well received. We ate almost everything. I think there may have been one or 2 slices of pizza left at the end. We also had our monthly meeting for our youth group, Jr. YBA, in addition to eating. I appreciate that CPK was quiet enough that we were able to discuss our upcoming events and some business in between bites. It was a great way to start our 2026! read more

The food is worth taking good friends to eat. Great quality and value for your hard earned dollar. The service is great and we had Sydney once again and lucky to have her. We love the ambiance and appreciate the atmosphere. We take our grown children with their families here regularly and now inviting friends to join us to celebrate the joys of a well cooked meal! Well, I forgot about my review regarding CPK's West Coast Burger disappointment with the tiny piece of bacon until just now reading it. Today, there were nice pieces of bacon that covered the burger BUT the serving of fries was terrible! There was only 1 whole potato wedge, the rest were wedge rejects! CPK should be embarrassed to serve this! Also, I think they packed the burger in the wrong container because it was smaller than other times we ordered it. They used to use a good size rectangle container but today, it was a small square one so I could hardly see the fries because the burger was on top of some. Smh... My Chicken Piccata was good as usual but they may have cut down on the pasta serving size. Pasta is inexpensive so food for thought...people remember when they feel like they got their moneys worth or don't feel hungry after they finish their meal so they will come back often or spread the word about how satisfied they were. I do... When they serve the food for people that dine in, the food has to be presentable because the customers can see the food but when you order a take out, we don't see the food until we get home. Guess they don't realize the disappointment we feel when we open up the containers. Just wondering...do they have someone checking orders going out for quality control? I usually pick up $400 worth of gift cards every year but after I use up my existing gift cards, I will think twice about buying more for myself or for gifts. When you think about it, even with the discounted CPK gift cards, the end price you pay for the food here comes out to be about the same or more than other places so if they don't improve, they may lose a lot of loyal customers. We LOVE coming to CPK Pearlridge. Food was amazing. I've had spinach artichoke dip for many years. And I'm not sure if they changed the menu, but wow it was BOMB. Best I've had. Host was friendly, told us we'd have a 30 mins wait, but they were able to get us in 20 mins instead. We had a nice clean table. Charles was our server very polite and attentive. Got our entire order correct. Ordered kids meals, appetizers, drinks. He punched in the order real quick. Brought the drinks right away along with house bread and Balsamic Vinegar. He was also attentive on our drink refills. When it was time for my husband and I to order, I wanted his suggestion on soup between two choices. He suggested the tortilla soup. It was great! Food was brought to the table very quickly. Boys enjoyed their food. He brought us extra napkins, cheese, filled our waters. He checked on us multiple times to see if we needed anything and how our food was tasting. Yay so far so good. Then about half way into our dinner the manager approached our table to make sure we were enjoying our dinner. Vinny was very pleasant and professional. I had a special request that I knew would need manager attention or approval. So I give it a shot. For me customer service is sooooo important. CPK is one of our favorite spots to eat at Pearlridge. The service is always friendly and the food comes out fast. They just brought back the Habanero Carnitas pizza, and it's sooo good! The pizza itself isn't spicy, but the salsa on the side definitely brings some heat. And of course, the Original BBQ Chicken Salad has been on the menu forever for a reason--it's always a winner. Our family decided to have dinner here and got seat within 15 minutes. Understandably it's dinner time so we knew there would be some waiting time. It was quite busy and our kiddies were fine with waiting for their food after putting in their order, filling themselves up with the complimentary bread. =) They all had the cpk kids pepperoni pizzas. It came out nicely hot where the cheese stretches out when you grab a slice. The youngest was trying to use the knife to slice his pizzas but somehow it slipped and the pizzas landed on his hand and fell on top the floor. It was still hot so his hand was red from the heat. The server was kind to put in another order and we didn't get charge for it. We really appreciate it. The dining area is large and can be a little on the louder side but overall a nice place to sit down and have a meal with a friend. Haven't been to CPK in a long time but I remember liking their pasta. Came here for lunch with my sister, her oldest kid & my 1 yr old. We didn't wait long to be seated or to get our orders in. My sister & I got the garlic cream linguine with mushrooms. My nephew got mac n cheese with chicken & my baby got the kids curly mac n cheese. My first time trying it & I enjoyed it. Superb! We were brought in to use our 40th anniversary Thank You card before expiration. Our server, Kuulei, went over and beyond. When taking our order, she had asked if we had a phone number to link our rewards account. In my previous experiences with CPK, different locations, she's the first to ask me. I'm usually the one to have to ask the server about it. She even checked my available rewards to potentially use that evening. Just amazing service. The restaurant was quite busy so food orders took a bit to arrive, but I didn't mind at all. The decor is vibrant. They had a wall of colorful tiles that I could not figure out how it came together. The food is just on point. The lettuce wraps and avocado egg rolls are a MUST. Super filling so be mindful of that when ordering, unless you want leftover food to take home or you have a big appetite. I'm a sucker for blue cheese so I had to order the full size of cobb salad. We also ordered the burnt ends pizza to try something new. We didn't finish everything and ended up taking home. I refused a takeout bag, not realizing how much food we packed. I thought i should update my review for a great restaurant visit. Came here with my friends for happy hour on a Friday. We were bummed that CPK changed their happy hour deals, it's no longer 1/2 off for drinks and appetizers from 3-6 pm M-F, but they have $5-$8 specials instead. Unfortunately the avocado rolls are no longer on special for happy hour but it was still yummy. We still enjoyed the avocado chips and dip ($6) and dynamite shrimp ($8) for happy hour. Went here for Veterans Day - one free entree (choice from small menu and a drink). The wait was 2+ hours they said, so we walked around and only waited about an hour for bar seating. The girl working at the host stand and the girl behind the bar were both very friendly, especially given how busy they were. We visited CPK on a Saturday that wasn't too busy, and they kindly accommodated us with our newborn in her stroller. Right off the bat, we appreciated the thoughtfulness of the staff. They started us with complimentary bread. While the first round was a bit too soft, the second batch was perfect! It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. For appetizers we ordered a bowl of their tomato basil soup, which was delicious and HUGE! A cup size might be more manageable if you want something smaller, similar in size to their spinach artichoke dip. We dipped the bread into the soup, and it was a great combo. For our main course, I ordered the ribeye and swapped the broccolini for a side Caesar salad at no extra charge. My partner got the shrimp and chicken lettuce wrap, which was a fantastic appetizer--light yet flavorful. The ribeye was a perfect size to fill you up but not leave you full full. It was cooked well and loved the hint of char from the grill. The service was quick, the staff was friendly, and overall, the food was tasty. Sorry this review is a bit late as we were here on Halloween for dinner. I mainly wanted to compliment my server and the manager who worked that night. Sorry, I forgot their names. What happened is I ordered the Braised short rib ragu and while the taste was fine, the pasta was lumpy and did not have a good consistency. I mentioned this to my server and he immediately took care of it by ordering a new dish for me. Yeah this place sucks. Its overpriced for subpar food. I've ordered takout twice, and both times were terrible. The first time, I parked in the pickup stall and called the number 4 TIMES for the food, but nobody came out. I ended up having to go inside for it, and still had to wait. The cashier worker was kind enough to give us complimentary bread and a drink for the amount of time we had to wait on TWO ITEMS. The second time was today, but this time it was the worker. This woman was giving attitude and when she got my order wrong, WHICH WAS ONE ITEM, she ignored me when I came back in. I understand working in food service isn't the best, I know first hand. But I know that creating more problems by being a bad worker doesn't make the situation any better. I hope an olive garden takes its spot, or anything else at this point. read more

Let me just say this -- all managers should take note on how amazing Vinnie is! Friendly, attentive, funny, personable -- and most importantly, he did not disappoint in making dining at this CPK location happen for us! A couple weeks ago, I dined here and asked about celebrating my daughter's birthday with a large group. I was told to call a couple hours ahead since they don't take advance reservations. So that's exactly what I did -- called two hours before and let them know I was coming in hot with a group of 14! The person who answered said they don't take RSVPs, and for a moment, I thought my plan was about to fall apart. Then Vinnie got on the phone -- calm, confident, and reassuring. He told me, "Don't worry, we'll make it happen (or at least try) when you get here." After our fun celebration at Ama's Dream Shop, our group walked over, 15 minutes early. We were greeted by the sweetest hostesses -- and there was Vinnie himself! His warm welcome instantly eased my worries. Within minutes, he had our big group seated inside. Yes, the place was packed, but our server Sunshine handled it all beautifully. Food, laughter, and good vibes flowed all night. Vinnie even personally brought our drinks out when things got a little backed up -- that's leadership right there. My garlic fettuccine pasta wasn't exactly what I ordered (came with chicken instead of mushrooms and was a little too al dente), but honestly? I couldn't even be mad. The night ended with double sundaes, candles glowing, and smiles all around. My birthday girl was beaming, and everyone went home with full bellies and happy hearts. The pearlridge location is by far our favorite CPK. Good for food and service. This evening we sat at the bar and were served by CC. We enjoy watching the various staff members working at the different stations. CC was friendly, did a great job. She kept our glasses filled and bread replenished. She remembered to bring all the extra things we requested. The food was good. We started with the California Cobb salad with the ranch dressing. My husband had a cup of Sedona soup. I had the chicken piccata, which my husband munched off of. The food came out at the same time as the salad. It was OK that way. I usually love going to CPK! It is often one of my favorite go-tos just because of the variety of entrées on their menu. Tonight was no different. I was looking forward to having one of their pizzas and it's been a minute since I've been there. However, was so disappointed from the moment we walked in the door. There were 3 young ladies standing at the host stand. All 3 of them just looked at me, no smile or greeting, as I slowly approached as there were a lot of other people standing around. I didn't know if the other customers were still being helped, or just waiting for a table, so if the hostess was ready for me, a "Hi, can I help you" would've been nice. Instead, I hesitantly approached (still unsure if I was next to be helped) and said "Hi, for 3.. how long would the wait be?" Was told 45min to an hour. For me the wait is actually no big deal. We did show up at a busy time for dinner, about 7:30/7:45pm, and we usually check out some stores in the mall. But just the lack of friendliness and customer service was an immediate turn off. We decided to leave. This post is to bring awareness to management of businesses. Train your staff to have basic customer service skills! Especially if these are the people greeting customers upon entering your establishment. A friendly smile, greeting customers as they walk in, even a "hi, we'll be right with you" or a "thank you for waiting" at times when it's busy can go a long way. read more

Came here on a Thursday night and it wasn't busy at all. It was really chilly in here, so bring a jacket just in case. We were seated right away which was nice because we didn't have to wait at all. Service was great, the waitress was really friendly and answered any questions we had about the menu. When we got our food, presentation was nice. I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps. It was bleh. The taste was gross. Chicken was chunky, and it was too saucy. I asked the waitress how come it tasted so different, and she said it's a new recipe. I don't like it. It was horrible. I like the old recipe they had. Anyway, my daughter said she liked the nugget. Garlic cream was neither creamy or garlicky. Hubby was slightly disappointed. The shrimp scampi zucchini had more zucchini in it now. My daughter's pizza was very good. We also had avocado egg rolls, but they were very greasy! I had the Fettuccine with Crimini Mushrooms and the pasta was very "Al dente". More so, the pasta was hard and very many noodles were stuck together. Our server was great and it's not her fault the food was just okay. Pretty average for a chain restaurant. Shopping at Pearlridge, we decided to have a late lunch at this CPK since we bought a GC at Costco. We were going to eat in, but even on a non busy time, between 2 and 5p, there was still a 20 minute wait, so we decided to take out. They have an app, but I can't add what I bought from the receipt to get points when I ordered from the counter, nor can I add my GC to the app. Garlic Cream Fettuccini - 5 stars - for about $18, I chose chicken and mushrooms with it. Although it was packed in a small container, but it had a lot of flavor in the cream, chicken and mushrooms, and the pasta was cooked just right. I'd buy it again because even though it's a little pricy for the amount they give, it was satisfying. California Club Pizza - 4 stars - their pizza was basic and small for the price you pay, but it tasted pretty good. A small salad came with it, but we didn't know if it was supposed to be added to the pizza or eaten separately. The pizza and salad combined had a lot of flavor to it. Service - 2 stars - wait to get our food was long. When we were going to eat in, the hostess said it would be faster to take out since the wait was 20 minutes, but our wait to get our food was almost the same. I actually ordered the california club sandwich at the counter. I was looking at the menu and asking questions about it, and ordered it, but to my disappointment, we got the pizza, and she said she thought that's what we wanted. They did tell us they can change the order, but that would be another 15 minute wait, so we just took our food and ate it at home. Although their prices are a little high considering the amount they give, their salads, pastas and pizzas are delicious. Lots of parking since it was at pearlridge lower level. read more

Food and location are good and I hate writing negative reviews but this review has been a long time coming. We dine here every so often, mostly for their happy hour, but I always forget how disappointing and frustrating the experience is when we go there. Happy hour runs from 4-6 pm. We always have issues being seated in a timely manner even though there are TONS of available tables. They say it's because of a lack of servers but it's interesting that they take 3 tables of 2 right away but can't seat the table of 5 who has been waiting for 15 minutes. Last I checked, 3x2=6 which is one more than 5. Anyway I'm not sure if they do this purposefully since they want less orders to be taken during their happy hour, but that's what it seems like. I gave it two stars even though at the moment I feel like it's 1 just because our servers are usually nice and like I said, the food and drinks are good. I think I blame management. They need to fix this and it's been a problem for a LONG time. read more
