I've eaten here a bunch of times, usually it's been great. They have some of the best wings I've ever had even if they're a little pricey. But it's still good nonetheless. Recently ordered through uber eats and I swear this is the first time I've ever had their pizza this thin. Almost as if it's giving tortilla with marinara + cheese on top. Pretty disappointed. We've ordered delivery from here several times, but this was our first time dining in, and it made me appreciate the place even more. As I understand it, the dough is pressed instead of rolled out, and I think that's what makes the pizza so good. The crust is thin and light. It doesn't leave you feeling like you're eating mostly bread. In my opinion it is one of the best pizzas on the island. My favorite is the Chronicle pizza with artichoke. We also tried the Caprese salad, which was fresh and came with optional extra croutons (I liked that girls over the counter were nice to offer this option), although the dressing wasn't my favorite. Haven't been here in years but decided to go for a function for a family member. Stood in line and read all the little papers on the glass ($1.00 for extra sauce) or ($2.00 for extra toppings) which for the price of the pizza you would think they would put enough sauce and toppings LOL! Nope the man just painted on the pizza sauce which of course my husband and I said we wanted extra sauce because who just wants to eat bread and no sauce! Came to support some friends for a "fundraiser night" where they had singing live entertainment. There are lots of tables and I believe you can call them to reserve a table and they'll put up a sign for any tables that are reserved. Most workers looked young (maybe high school and college) and service was okay. Ordered a pizza, fries, and 2 beers ($40+!). We got the special Garlic Parmesan and Kalua pizza, which was tasty. Waffle fries were meh. I got to try their Stuffed Mushrooms from a friend's order and that was actually delicious. Pizza Press is not new to us as we have been dining at this spot whenever we fly to Anaheim for Disneyland. So we were VERY pleased when this spot opened up in our neighborhood. We love that you can customize your pie but tend to order off the signature menu. Great sized pizza for sharing or easily feeding yourself. You can watch them assemble and cook fresh in line and the toppings are evenly spread around the pies. The chicken wings sides are good too but we usually order too much to finish. This location has lots of seating and a bar area - great for parties or watching sports events. I think they have live music here and there too. The pizza dough wasn't quite what I expected but decent nonetheless. I tried the Tribune, no olives. Extras toppings and/sauce costs extra. You can substitute ingredients in the pre-set builds; however, our request for basil instead of olives was forgotten. Not complaining because no olives were on the pie. The pizza press has a variety of pizza toppings, tried half spinach artichoke and half pepperoni with veggies. The pizza bakes super quickly!!! The garlic bread was decent wish it was a bit more cheesy. It would be a good contrast for either the pizza dough or garlic bread to be more doughy as both were a bit flat, but i do appreciate crunchy crust. Stopped in for a quick lunch with 3 friends on a Tuesday at 1130am. Barely anyone inside so we were able to get any table! They have many seating options. They had music playing medium-loud. But we were still able to hear each other for conversation. There were two workers at this time. One was brand new and wasn't quite familiar with the menu yet but she had a great attitude and customer service. Everyone has to start somewhere! Our food came out quickly, as fast as the oven baked it. Overall everything went well and the pizza was great. Although I wish they had a bit more meat and veggie options for the pizzas. They have a fountain drink station for soft drinks as well as some tea options. A tv screen in the dining area was displaying their daily events. This place is real hit or miss and last night 11/6 was a Massive miss We ordered 3 pizzas, a cheesy bread, a salad, two buckets of beer and soft drinks - only to find out after the fact that Every table was already reserved for some type of in house fundraising event. So now we're standing there, with our food and no where to sit. Why? 1) there were no signs posted anywhere that there was an event happening (we would have gone somewhere else) 2) the pizza makers didn't ask if we were part of the group (I would have asked what and why, and gone somewhere else) It's 545 and the biggest empty table for my party of 5 has a reserved sign for 530 but no one is there yet. I ask the cashier (Asian girl with big glasses) if we can sit there since the reservation is late. She says I can wait until 615-630 and if they don't come I can have the table. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I ALREADY HAVE MY FOOD. You think it's acceptable to tell me to wait 30-45 mins for a table when my food has already been served?? She actually said the reservation was made before me. I am already here and I've already paid for my food and you've given most of it to me. What am I supposed to do? What would YOU do? She Gen-Z Stared me. Brah. I am livid at this point. A lady that had a reserved table but her family hadn't arrived yet offered me her table so that we could have somewhere to sit just to eat - I thanked her but politely declined. She shouldn't have to give up her table because this place can't put up a sign or just let people know that it's about to get crowded and they should get their orders TO GO if they're not part of the group that has reserved every damn table The saving grace was the bartender. He honestly looked like he could make a sound decision so I went over to him and asked what we should do since we already have our food and have no where to sit. He asked how many people, looked around and said we could sit at the bar (we have a minor). He went down to the end, cleared off the empty glasses and napkins from the counter, came back and said there were enough seats there for us. Problem solver this one, give him a bonus. The rest of them need better customer service training. Fix y'all's faces too. I still had one more pizza to pick up and miss ma'am with the glasses doesn't even make eye contact with me. She slides it gently across the counter. I say thank you and walk all the way back to the bar only to realize I didn't get my side of hot honey ($1.50). I go all the way back through the mess of people and when I get there, she's holding it out to me without me having to ask. I say thank you and the rest of the meal went ok until the live music started and that is always our cue to get moving All y'all needed was a sign on the door stating it was a fundraiser night and seating would be limited. read more

Bought calzones from here. It was very delicious- moist and tasty. There are a little larger than most calzones I've had at other places. You place your order with the first worker at the menu board. Then wait until u add extras as u move along. Don't pass anyone too early or it will mess up the order of the items at the cashier. For the longest time I always wondered what Pizza Press (PP) was. After a few years of living in PC, the fam and I decided to try PP for lunch one Sunday. When arriving, there was no line and we were immediately helped. I didn't realize PP was kinda of like a Pieology where you can choose your own topics or choose a preset one. The kids loved watching the staff make their pizza. Service was great and the food was fast. The reason for the -1 star is that the taste and flavor wasn't outstanding for me. It was good but not outstanding. The mozzarella sticks were maybe 3 stars. I probably wouldn't order the mozzarella sticks again. Would I go back? Most likely. I have to say, they have a decent amount of beers on tap and a variety of booze. I think it'd be a good place for pau hana and chill. Was craving a pizza with a cheese pull. Kids chose Pizza Press which was fine by the husband and I because they offer beer in their restaurant. A Sunday afternoon before dinnertime hours still had a crowd who were there eager to see the 7th game for the NBA finals. Lots of screens, food, and alcohol is a solid combo. Unfortunately, their AC seemed to be broken because it was a little warm. I ordered the Times which had chicken and a BBQ sauce drizzle. Husband got a 10-piece chicken wings and salad. All pretty standard. I got my wish for a cheese pull. My 13yo ate a pizza all on his own. The rest of us brought home leftovers. We ate up the salad and took home some of the chicken. This is my second time ordering from Pizza Press and it was disappointing. The first time I went, the pizza was good and enough toppings on the pizza, that's why I want it again. The second time, the pizza look so sad, skinny, and dry. I ordered "The Times" and only 1-2 slices of tiny little chicken pieces per slices. $16 for this pizza was totally not worth it. I normally don't like to complain about businesses. This is my first ever negative review. It has nothing to do with food but rather their service. Went on a trivia night, bad move. We just wanted a quick dinner. Got there around 615 P (45 min before the start of trivia night). There were more empty seats than people. They were reserved. I spoke with the bartender, probably the owner and said we are just gonna eat and leave. He said oh sorry only these seats are open. I was with my toddler who shouldn't be sitting on bar stools, on top of that there were three of us in the party but TWO stools. I stood while my toddler and husband sat while we waited for our food. The bartender or owner or whatever he was didn't even try to accommodate us and find a seat to give for the time being. Instead he was drinking alcohol with his customers. If I knew seats weren't available I would not have ordered and left to eat at a place with seating available. The workers at the front did not even have the courtesy to mention that all seats are reserved! Unfortunately, we already ordered and paid by the time we figured out there were no seats. I decided to take my food to go and went to the food court down the road to finish my dinner. Won't be returning soon, all because of their customer service. Wish I could give zero stars. read more

Last night, my daughter's high school cheer team held a fundraiser at the Pizza Press in Pearl Highlands. The Pizza Press offers in-store fundraising for local non-profit organizations. A portion of the proceeds of the day goes to the non-profit team! What a great way to enjoy a night out with the family while supporting a great cause. The Pizza Press' theme is 1920's American newspapers. Diners can "publish" a pizza by building their own or they can order a signature pizza named after American newspapers. My son ordered the Times (chicken, grape tomato, red onion, and finished with fresh cilantro and BBQ sauce) while I order the Post - a two topping pizza with sauce and cheese of my choice. We also ordered the mozzarella sticks and for dessert had an ice cream float and deep dish cookie topped with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. Everything was delicious except we thought the cookie was a little underbaked. The Pizza Press also offers chicken wings, signature salads, and a bar with drink specials. Came in the afternoon it was my first time here and I was so confused and lost. I asked one of the people eating in where to go because I had no idea where to order food I find myself on the right side where the counter was. I was a little confused with the menu I just got the kids pizza. It came with a drink and a cookie. And for the toppings just got bacon and olives When my pizza is ready, they asked me if I wanted anything on top. I didn't know what options they had. There was no list or anything so I just said Parmesan cheese. The pizza was good. The cookie was also really good. I wish they were more welcoming because like I said, it was my first time and I was so lost. No one greeted me. I didn't know where to go to order the pizza. And as soon as I walked up they were like "do you know what you wanted to order?" Nooooo I just walked in... trying to familiarize myself with this menu. I didn't know there were different toppings to put on. There was no specific menu or topping list or sauce list or whatever. Or i probably didn't see it. Someone told me it was like pieology here, and that's the thing I never went to pieology either: Overall pizza was good I think I need to give this place another try so I can have a better review because my first experience wasn't really great. My daughter got the Jr. Editor with pepperoni and sausage giving it a rating of 10 out of 10, she ate half before I could even snap a picture. I got the chronicle and it's delicious. The thin crust is better than most places I've had. The guy that made it, made it look way better than the picture on the menu board. Went with a small group on Thursday night because of the live band, which was pretty good. Unfortunately, they were the only saving grace for this spot. Parking can be a challenge at Pearl Highlands near the restaurant depending on the day and time. You're competing with Regal Cinema theatre patrons for upfront spaces, so if there are decent movies playing and/or it's a weekend you may have to park a level below or park down towards Ross and walk back. The set up is cafeteria style like Pieology where you line up, choose your pie from the overhead menu on the wall and move forward. I ordered "The Post" pizza and continued my shuffle down the line with other patrons. By the time, I got to the register, my pie was coming off the oven conveyor belt. I will say that the staff behind the glass was very responsive to any questions I had especially being a first timer. No complaints on the price, but the pizza was mediocre. Not bad, but nothing that screams, "Man, I can't wait to come back!" This next comment is for most of the restaurants I've been at lately on O'ahu: Why are there no NA beer offerings? Whether you're the designated driver and still want a beer with your slice, cutting back on your alcohol consumption, or just enjoy a non-alcoholic brew you should have options besides soda or water. NA beers are becoming really popular elsewhere, but here in HI you're hard pressed to find a restaurant or even a supermarket that carries a variety if any at all. So, would I return? There is a full bar counter so if you're looking for pizza and beer, this is a great place. Ordering is seeamless. Choose your dough, then sauce then toppings galore. They also offer after back options. Toppings are fresh and plentiful. One thing that seperates this place to Pieology is the combos you can get. For example, you can order 2 pizzas with wings or 4 pizzas with chees sticks. And if you're feeding a few people these options will save you some money! Employees are very nice and easy. The owner of the place was there and was very hospitable and took the time to walk around, talk to patrons and help out the staff. Overall, thie place is great. We'll be returning soon! read more

It's a typical pizza place. Customers have a choice of pizzas on their menu or create a custom pizza. My husband and I usually get 1 pizza and split the toppings, he gets chicken or some other meat on his side while I get vegetables on my side. The atmosphere is family friendly but it is a warehouse type space which lends itself to high ceilings and a lot of echoing. When there are large parties, this place gets really loud and it becomes difficult to have conversations. We went here on a Saturday around 2pm it was surprisingly pretty dead inside so there was plenty of seating. It was kind of dark inside but the place is a pizza/bar style restaurant. The guy that helped us was at the register was nice he even helped me carry the pizzas to our table. The food was delicious we got the two pizzas and wings. One pizza we made ourselves the other we just had the press cheese and the wings we got with the buffalo sauce oh yeah we also got mozzarella cheese sticks that was also good.
