    Order at counter
    Gail U.

12-24-24 a Christmas eve breakfadt, thanks Doc for treating dad and I. We came here cuz the line at AM was out the door and hubs had a 9 am pt appointment across the street. Few tables were occupied at 8 am but by 8:30 am the line to order was getting long. Food came out quickly but the hamburger and bangers were on the grill a bit too long- little bit charred.

Had breakfast here with a friend. This place used to be known as Koa Pancake House in the top level of the Aiea Shopping Center. It wasn't crowded when we arrived but the small place started filling up fast. You order at the back by the register. We both had the EGG's and THINGS. Mine was with Vinha d'alhos. Taste was okay - not a mouth watering flavor. Not sure if there were two eggs or just one. But it wasn't over-easy like I asked for. Friend had Portuguese sausage with fried rice. We both enjoyed our meals. Wide selection of breakfast and lunch items. Prices are reasonable and good portion. Woman taking my order at the register was patient and polite.

Food was good. Ordered the aiea moco eggs scrambled and gravy on the side. A short stack banana pancakes that were so delicious! Service was quick, lady server was nice and brought the food to our table. Great service! Inside is small and can get crowded and may have to wait for seating, but not today.

I ordered food here to take out for me and my parents. Ordered their full stack of macadamia nut pancakes which comes with 5 pancakes! Also ordered their 1 egg (scrambled) with fried rice and Portuguese sausage and their corn beef hash with eggs and fried rice. Everything was delish and food portions was generous! Prices are good too! Will def be back!

This is a small place with friendly service. We are tourists and were on our way from Waikiki to the Dole Plantation but needed a place to stop and eat. I just picked what happened to be closest to us. The place is up an escalator, there's no restroom inside but they'll give you a key to the one in the shopping center. You order at the front and they'll bring the food to you. Prices are decent. $15 omelet, $12.50 for eggs, 5 turkey links, and 3 fluffy pancakes. Worth it. The pancakes are excellent!! I was traveling with some picky eaters and we were all impressed. Good strong coffee as well. Would definitely return.

I wanted to retract my comment about not having toast perhaps maybe it was specific to ordering eggs Benedict because it's served with muffins whereas if I ordered bacon and eggs toast would be an option. I don't know so for that I stand corrected, my bad. BUT if they do NOT serve toast at all, then I wish they would.

Located at the Aiea shopping center, second floor, The local breakfast, pancakes and lunch plates are cheap, but they were too oily and basic. Nothing really stood out for me. The servings were average, and didn't make us satisfied because it was a little overcooked and a little chewy. Limited seats, and a line forms in the middle of the booth. No wipes to wipe the tables, and garbage can is on the right of the counter where we ordered. Employees were nice and accomodating, but we had to wait a while for our food. Overall this place is ok, but I don't think I'll frequent here. Lots of parking since it is at the aiea shopping center.

Love their burrito, took it to go and I was pleasantly surprised they sliced it AND packaged two dippings, sour cream and salsa. The price point is just right and the portioning is always enough for me. Very happy and will probably try their other burritos. They were busy but the service was quick!

Not sure how to get Yelp to change this restaurant to AIEA PANCAKE HOUSE. Everything looks the same except "Koa" has been replaced with "Aiea" on the signs in the windows and inside. Menu looks the same, too. We went on a Sunday morning around 10:30. We seemed to have come in between the early morning diners and the lunch crowd. When we were walking in, several diners were leaving. As we ate our food, a line of new diners came in. Some were getting take out. What I like - they still serve Scottish Bangers! I only know of one other pancake place that does. The food was arranged very nicely on our plates. Nicer than before, I liked that tiny improvement. Quality of the food and the service was still the same. Door was open and it was a little warm. I guess the AC wasn't working well. But we were ok - a little warm is not the same as hot. We enjoyed our meal and of course will be back.

    Special #1 Omlete

If you are looking for a good and affordable breakfast spot near the Honolulu airport, this is an option to check out. Simple, yet pleasant. You can find a variety of breakfast items, and they offer specials too (I got the special #1 omelet - see pic). It took a little while to get our food, but not bad. The omelet I got was prepared well and was good. If you need to use the restroom, ask for the key and it is a short walk past some of the stores. My wife said the pancakes were good. My son who is super picky enjoyed the corned beef hash. I think the name of this place has changed. It is now called Aiea Pancake House.

    Aiea omelette with potatoes

2nd time in a week returning here. I got the Aiea omelette (Spinach, mushroom, cheese, & Portuguese sausage) with potatoes. Which are over an inch in diameter. I'm use to seeing tiny ones. Also the strawberry and whip cream waffle. I prefer to eat my food ASAP so please excuse the pic but I was finished by the time I decided to make this review. Service was great too. Checked multiple times if I was ok and even brought my take out order to me. Definitely recommend coming here.

We went on Mother's Day. It was exceptionally busy. We gave it a chance. Waited over an hour for our food and only the pancakes came out. It wasn't even hot, more like warm to the touch. Another customer asked where their order was, employee told them "it's only been 20 minutes and just wait. Ever since the name changed, service and quality went down hill. Their excuse for my order taking too long was that they lost my order. I'm told them dine in, but they put it in take out container. Our order came out after I got refunded and was walking out.

The roasted chicken - requires 20 minutes to prepare - gyoza (chicken or beef) and the orange chicken are deliciously delectable, and are my favorites. Chelsea is extraordinary at providing consistent superior customer service. She never fails to greet customers promptly and kindly. My fiance won a gift card actually 2 of them (from his coworker whom could not get a reservation secured), we knew we had to make the trip over before they officially close. We ordered the short ribs, lobster appetizer, hamachi crudo and lastly sashimi moriawase to finish food palate. Lukki lemon dessert was great way to end to night. Ordered the Milk tea bouquet cocktail while my better half had water ( either way the food coma knock him out cold the rest of the night lol). To be honest, it was difficult to determine which dish was the best because the staff kept quality there despite it being busy every night since they announce the closure. Sashimi moriawase, fish was so fresh, reminded me of my time spent in Hokkaido and Sapporo. Short ribs was soft and rich in flavor. Both me and my fiance liked the lukki lemon dessert, like lemon meringue pie but broken down version.
