We came here after my daughter's baptism because she was wanting to try them after I hyped them up to her. Lol! When we went in, my husband, daughter, and parents ordered their pizzas while I held a table for us. Their pizzas came out amazing. When I finally went up to order, their staff just seemed stressed out/in a bad mood. Not sure what was going on, but I just finished ordering and sat down. When I got my pizza, it was burnt. I did notice that the customers in the restaurant already was also in a bad mood from whatever was going on in their lives (one guy was being super mean to his kids because they spilled their soda. It was weird seeing him talk smack to them so loud.. it made me feel super uncomfortable.) I was guessing at that point that the energy in the restaurant was just off by the time I ordered my pizza. I went up to order a drink and it spilled a little bit when the girl working gave it to me. I got a napkin to clean it up because it spilled next to their register. Although the girl working was annoyed with everything going on, she looked at me and looked relieved that I was trying to clean it up. She smiled for that one second and told me thank you. Sad that pieology is closing on this island so decided to go for one last time. Went as a family and the service and food was great as i remembered! However warning that it is extremely hot and humid in this specific Pieology!!!! There is no AC so it gets pretty stuffy inside. I recommend taking it home or eating outside. read more

The workers were busy but I did see someone at the end of my meal cleaning up the seating areas. The workers were nice. No complaints. The pizza was good. Came here as had a craving for pizza. The line moved quickly and workers knew what they were doing. For a Friday at 12:30pm, it wasn't super crowded, and there was plenty of seating. I got one pizza with everything and then a one-topping with half pepperoni (for a child). Ordering was super quick and payment was also taken quickly. Definitely an efficient system! Order took about 5 minutes to order and about 10-15 min to come out. I was glad that the soda machine was working this time! I've eaten here many times, and while the pizza is usually decent, this visit as disappointing. The pizza seemed smaller than before. That said, i like that you can get a generous amount of toppings. Unfortunately, they forgot to add the after-bake pesto I requested, which was a bummer since it adds a lot of flavor. Service was quick, and the place was clean. I like this location and love me a build-your-own pizza. The times I've visited, including for online takeout orders and dine-in, the food and service have been great. Although Pieology's prices have been going up, you still get a good product for a good value. And of course it helps to look out for deals in their app and rack up points for free pizzas or other items. They have a good amount of seating, enough so that I've had a couple of weekday work luncheons with about 8 people and had no problem snagging the one large table inside or two four-seaters that are next to each other. Came here to pick up dinner for me and the bae. Haven't been here for about 2 years. The pizza was great, but the eta they tell you when they order will be ready is very wrong as you can see from other comments. Online order said 20 minutes and when we got there after 25 minutes the staff said they just put the pizza in the oven. After walking to longs to pick some stuff up we went back in and notice our order ( we ordered 2 pizzas, 1 calzone, and 5 sauces) was given to someone else. The customer gave it back saying it wasn't theirs. That's why I jumped in and said that might be mines and named what type of pizza we ordered. It took a little over an hour total for us to get our pizza after the 20minutes quoted it would be ready. I'd come back if I'm in the area. I came in just before the lunchtime rush. There were just a couple in front of me. We ordered four pizzas btwn the 3 of us. What can I say, we were eating with our eyes. Lol. Have to say, continue to be extremely disappointed in this establishment. Place an online order that noted a pick up time of 605pm. Arrived to the restaurant at 610 with over 10 people waiting by the mobile order pick up sign. In past experience, workers will not acknowledge you even if you are the only person waiting at the online order pick up. Not sure how anyone is supposed to know if there order is ready as there is no communication. There seems to be no workflow as people who stood in line and placed orders for dine in got their pizzas faster than people waiting close to an hour for an online order! Wrong orders continuously being passed out to other disappointed customers. Wasn't sure how to order my pizza so the worker said they were just like Subway where you can choose what crust and toppings I want. I went the easy way out...ordered the "Combo" where the crust and toppings are already decided for you. It comes with the original thin crust, olive oil, house made red sauce, mozzarella, sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, green pepper and olives. It was a good choice! They finally realized they gave away my dessert pizza and are only now making one, 20 min after I ordered my 2 pizzas. I remember when it was a simple pizza place that offered pizza, unlimited toppings, maybe one or two sides and a drink - all for just $10 - $13. Now, they've added more items to the menu but the pie rise (deep dish) dough isn't as deep as before and pizza that used to cost $10 now start at a couple dollars more (depending on your dough). Don't get me wrong, you can't been unlimited toppings, but all these changes really confused me and can really fool you thinking you're getting a great deal, but when you hit that cash register you realize that you might have just got up-sold pretty easily. The food is perfectly acceptable, a tiny bit pricey but tastes good. Unfortunately, service can be pretty spotty. For example, we just spent an extra 45 minutes waiting for our order to be corrected (which was still wrong). First, they forgot our cookie that we ordered. We had to come back, at which point we learned that they didn't even have the cookie that we ordered online. Next, they used the wrong sauce for our pizza, using the red instead of the white sauce for one of us who can't have tomatoes. It took them about 45 minutes to remake it, only for the dough to be wrong (thin crust instead of the thicker one which costs extra). I'm so glad they're open past 8! Husband was in Pali Momi and I was starving! I saw truffle on a sign as I was walking in so I got the mushroom truffle pizza on cauliflower. All the staff is friendly and seem happy to be working here. Its always a good experience here. The manager is always on point and her workers follow suit.
