We were at juniper park and got hungry and decided to try this place out. We went on a saturday afternoon and was able to grab a table inside. The slices were huge and really delicious. The veggie slice is def my fave. Service was A+. After you order they bring your food to your table. The owners dad just happened to sit next us and offered to get us a cup of ice and straws. When he was leaving he even offered to throw our trash. We really appreciated it. Def will be back. Highly reccommend! read more

Neighborhood pizza joint serving serviceable slices and pies. Narrow entrance to order and pick up with some seating in the back. Came on a Friday night around 6pm and they were slammed with orders. It took about 40 minutes to get our 2 pies tor pickup (from what they said on the phone was a 25 minute wait). They are courteous and did apologize for the wait time which I appreciate - rare in a Queens joint. They may need to figure out a better system behind the counter for their weekend rush. Roughly $52 for 2 pies - a veggie pie and a regular cheese pie with half pineapple. It was about $28 for the veggie pie we ordered that was alright. I liked how the veggie pie included breaded eggplant in addition to the usual broccoli, tomatoes, and mushrooms. A plus: they do have pineapple as a topping (a hit with my kids) which is rare these days. I added a star because we want to support local businesses. They have a wonderful special on Monday for their cheese pizza. It's usually 19 but is down to 15 for the day. Can't beat that price. However as for the pizza itself, it's okay. The dough is extremely chewy. You will legit get a jaw workout eating this. The sauce is sweet and the cheese is just regular cheese. A little oily but not much. Garlic knots are chewy as all hell and barely have any garlic flavor so you're just eating dough. Worth it if you're having a pizza party on a Monday and wanna feed a ton of people but otherwise it's meh. read more

Great pizza! The undercarriage was impeccable and both slices had a nice crunch without being burnt/slightly blackened anywhere. The vegetables on my slice were fresh and the kid up front was very nice and friendly. Threw in two Zeppoles on the house and made a specialty slice to my liking. I'd definitely recommend! I ordered from this place via the Slice app, where it has an overall 5.0 stars with 500 ratings. So I had high hopes. I ordered the sausage calzone and an Italian salad. The description of the calzone says it includes red sauce, but when the order arrived - no red sauce. I contacted the Slice app support and they said that red sauce has to be requested. There's no place to indicate that, unless you write it in yourself under "special requests". The Calzone itself was pretty mediocre - not the worst, but certainly nothing among the better ones I've had elsewhere. Definitely lacked a sufficient amount of sausage. The description for the Italian salad includes onions and "of course pepperoncini!" which is what makes an Italian salad an Italian salad, right? Well, my salad didn't include those either. I do contact-less delivery, and the delivery guy seemed pretty curt. Just dropped the food at the door without saying a word. No response to my cordial "thank you, have a good night." Just a very unsatisfactory experience. Also seeing that on Yelp this place gets nowhere near 5 stars is pretty telling (of the pizzeria, but maybe of the Slice app users too). read more

We decided to try this place again after it was renamed. Not sure if that means there are new people there but I was not really impressed. Why one star? Because I was the lucky person in my family who ordered a veal parm, resulting in food poisoning. Thankfully I only ate half of the sandwich because who knows how much worse it would've been if I ate the entire thing. It was very fun, as I spent the next 12-24 hours puking my guts out. The last time he came to deliver into my building, with NO MASK...I called and told them to stop sending him. But tonight, he calls me from downstairs...says he cant seem to find a spot ( there are spots all over my neighborhood)..and says I have to come down ( despite the fact that I am sick in bed, with my robe on). So I let him know he'll have to wait....and when I get downstairs, I tell him that it's not cool to make a sick person have to get dressed to come down for a delivery. Very disappointed. We called to inform them we got the wrong food and the delivery man came back, took the part of the order that was wrong (which I'm not sure is safe during COVID) and gave us a pizza that was not fully cooked so we had to put in the oven to finish cooking. We were still missing one of the items from our order. When we called to tell them this we were told they were "busy" and we never received it. With so many better pizzerias in this area I would expect them to be nicer to their customers. Unfortunately, my family and I will not be back to Andrews after how we were treated. P. S. This is one of my favorite pizza places in my area. They staff is incredibly friendly, the food is well cooked and the flavor is superb. I came in here once to find an owner who has been here well before I was even born. You can clearly see that he is a seasoned pizza conissure who knows a good slice when he makes it. I actually witnessed the owner remove pizza out of the case because it hadn't looked right. I was pleasantly impressed hearing him speakiing with a customer he obviously knew and said: " If it looks funny to me I take it out, the pizza never usually stays long, but sometimes it happens and I gotta take it out, I don't feel right selling it" I knew a slice to hold me over until dinner was not an option, I left with a Snapple and came back four hours later and bought dinner for my family The Pizza sauce was not sweet, or spicy, or old or salty. It tasted like tomatoes, garlic, and olive oil. Which is what sauce should taste like. Everything was cooked evenly and the dough was risen well. It was not awful or chewy. It was soft pillows of Sicilian semolina dough that was blanketed in sauce an cheese. You will not suffice with only a slice. read more
